Congrats on your carport. These guys, everywhere, are experts. I got my port from CAROLINA CARPORTS. When ordering, ALWAYS opt for the better anchors. I’ve had my like carport for over 15 years, great stuff. No snow/ice problems, no structural problems, no leaks. Since then, they have installed a 2 dr.enclosed 20x24 garage. Seems like cutting the upper end vs raising the lower end to level would be better no? All that weight resting on just a few screws does not seem structural sound in the long run.
Hi, older video just wondering if the asphalt is sticky or messy on hot days don't want to track it around. Thinking of going with asphalt cheaper than concrete. 14x21x8 Thanks
Tampa Florida, I have a 30’x45’ with a lower (6’ clearance) gable in the rear and a front cable (13’ 6” at the lowest point). Including install it was $8.300.00. My only problem is water draining off the ends. It wraps around the carport and comes back in on the underside. I would like to resolve that. Other than that I am truly pleased.
I have a slider in front of my house with a deck and I have a 2 car garage. I would like to purchase one of these and slide it underneath the deck in front of my house. Where my 2 car garage is, do they make these where you could? Purchase a 2 car garage one. Please comment back and let me know, thank you.
It takes this many people to install this building? I thought this was something maybe two people could do. Do they send out people to install it for you cuz that would be great for me? Also will you enclose this ? Thank you for sharing this and the link
Amazing project with hard working people. What's the name of the Company, also what is the dimension of this carport. Looks high enough for my 10 ft high RV.

One thing about these carports which I have one built your insurance will not cover it because they say it is built wrong with the metal roof running the wrong direction mine started leaking after 5 years and it still is
I just put up a 24 x 25 carport garage. I was cautioned not to go with the horizontal roof but to go with the vertical . That way rain and things slide off instead of collecting on the roof.

FIRST BUILDING ROOF I'VE EVER SEEN WITH THE RIBS OF THE ROOFING IS RUNNING HORIZONTAL AND NOT VERTICAL TO ALLOW QUICKER RUN OFF OF RAIN WATER OR WHATEVER! NOT A GOOD IDEA IN SOME PARTS OF THE COUNTRY, ESPECIALLY WHERE I COME FROM. I'VE PUT UP MANY OF THEM.
That’s an awesome carport brother!!!! I’m stoked for ya Man!! I Thought this video was satisfying to watch!! I hope all is well!! Have a great weekend and God bless ya Gato! I will talk to ya again!! 🙏🏻🚘🚙 🚘🙏🏻
What a freakin joke --- everything is wrong with this install ...just wait till you see the water lines on your car from the wrong way roof panel seams...lmao and oh yea support the whole snow load on a couple sheet metal screws.

If you ever built one you would know why he started from top. Its about layout. He saved alot of time starting at top on such a small roof. That way everything lines up even on the sides. If you watched instead of trolled, they clearly slid lower panel under seam properly. If your smarter then the engineer who designed it, then maybe you should get a more expensive alternative. Now go find some video's of heavy equipment operators and tell us all what there doing wrong.
@@danmorris6387 lmao the Engineer that designed it said to install the roof panels 90 degrees from what was shown in the video, in other words up and down not sideways AND to overlap the roof panels at least 2 rib s not on the edge rib and to use butyl caulk tape on those joints.... How do I know ? I have an installation manual, so stuff it!
So peeved, if you run panels 90 degree that makes walls vertical panel? Do you just bend them around the eaves? Just wondering seeing as you have the manual. And was I supposed to stuff said manual or are you make believing your a tough internet guy. Wow. Lol. Y so angry.??

$3300 or $2445?
@@Rhezoloution that probably includes taxes for 3300 plus what color tin you want.

Awesome car port I’m impressed by how professional it looks and how they installed it. Definitely a nice addition to the channel
Love it, I'll be building an insulated mechanics workshop on my concrete pad, and then a give 30x60 building on gravel, I think that should be enough
Definitely record them like ya did this one. I enjoy watching videos of build like these
Definitely will!
Looks good and strong, good work by the installers.
Very hard working guys.

Probably 18W x 21L
Cut 2” think styrofoam triangle pieces to insert in the triangle areas on the frame where birds can make a nest. You can buy it at Lowes.
We don't mind the birds. we mind the people! LOL!

Anchor guy needs a rod driver bit for his hammer drill....and an SDS max. Nice carport
Looks good but how’s the rain fall with it next to the garage?
It was never an issue, the car next to the walled off area always stayed dry
Rebar anchors don't cut it where I live. The wind gets too high.
you got a great house! i always wanted to live in the country
It's a big life change, and I love it
Can you give me the information on the guys that built the carport for you? I need one for my Rv
Any updates? Has wind been an issue? Any rot?

Very nice build! Gotta keep the rides looking good!
I spent $2550 for a 20x20x21 Tall A-Frame Carport, installed. With fully enclosed sides and back walls.
Very nice, what company
And it’s for mine and my girlfriends subies, nice wrx!
Thanks!

Taking care of the cars
So who did you buy the carport kit from
You made a cool video
It's been a year and a half now. How's this holding up? Any wiggling out of the teak screws? Floppy roof?
It's still perfect, I'm making an update video
Nvm 3300 is very affordable considering it would cost at least 20k for a 2 car garage.

That looks absolutely great!
Can it handle golf size hail?
I was wondering do we need any permit if carport is on concrete or near the house such as 6-10 feet away
it all depends on your local government rules
What is the snow load please?
What was the cost without labor?
Any trouble with water running off next to the wooden garage?

Looks great! Will you be putting something to cover it all though so that no one can see the cars and you can heat it and stay warm?
No, that'll be the next building, it'll be closed, I'll spray insulation and install permanent lights on that one. That'll be where the lift goes 😁

What height did you order the legs ?

the only thing i dont like is the bended roof pieces. did you find any condensation buildup or rust forming?
It's galvanized and painted tin so no

thats a beautiful carport, how long is it? will you put power to it so you can put some lights under it

@@FlyinGato awsome
Now you dont have an excuse to not upload in the rainy seasons
No more excuses for sure!
I have red rock where I live how would thy anchor into that?
How tall are your side poles
How thick is the aluminum? How easy will it bend or how easy is it to make a dent if something heavy hits the sides?
Steel. And I know that if the weather sealed washers are used, rust should be mitigated for a decade or two. Hail won't rip it like aluminum
I like your carport I'm thinking of getting one what size is the one you have?
