Have a question for you - maybe you will tell me what better to do with a floor? Cover with crushed stone or fill with concrete or your idea, please feel free to tell me, I'll be very thankful 😉
I'm a van lifer in Florida and really like this design, elevated with only an open a gravel floor. Plan to build similar and have it block the southern sky so I can also use it like a workshop.
i love this! you worked so hard on this and built a beautiful carport. i could tell what you were doing at every step because it had a great timelapse speed. thank you for showing every step and not skipping anything. i usually zone out for this type of video, but i didn't get bored for even one minute. the music and couple minutes of silence in between the songs was great.
Fine craftsmanship ,structural integrity, stylish . you sir have hit all the marks .very impressive!! Thank you for the demonstration of a somewhat forgotten quality in construction, planning ,execution and use! Great content!!!
Thank you for replying,I would find the most decomposed granite I could find spread it 4" wet it ,use a plate tamper but before it closed in add Portland cement , concrete color and tamp until your choice of color makes you smile
Very impressive! I love the finish. Re. the floor, crushed stone is good, but if you want to work on vehicles then concrete is hard to beat. Also, if you're putting in a conduit for power, consider putting in an extra large one so you can run another line later - or size the cable bigger than you need for just lights. That roof surface is perfect for 10kW or more of PV at some stage...
Excellent work as usual Mr V , it's a pleasure to watch you work. As to the floor it depends on how often you want to maintain it. Concrete lasts longer obviously but much more expensive and much more work to lay. Regards Jim UK.
Vereshchak, Everything you build with woods. Look like no need moneys. Even like car posh. Structurely can withstand typhoons 🌀 or Hurricanes. Last you long times.
Nice one Mr V, it will certainly keep your vehicles out of the winter rain and snow. And from the looks of those clouds in the background, not a moment too soon.
Отлично получилось. Если вдруг решишь крыть крышу дома профлистом, то саморезы крутят в верхнюю волну, чтобы протечек не было из этих отверстий. Для навеса нормально.
congratulations Mr. V, a truly excellent job, done with care, the structure seems very solid, it's always a pleasure to see you work, you can see that you do it with passion
VERY NICE, VERY EXPENSIVE, CONSIDERING THE WALLS ARE INDIVIDUAL BOARDS, RATHER THAN SHEETING,NOT MUCH DIFFERENT THAN THE ROOF. BUT ITS ALL IN WHAT YOU WANT AND WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD. AGAIN, VERY NICE!!
Hello. I have now seen all of your videos and I have to say that there is more action in it than in any good action film. I had a lot of fun watching the films. All the work pieces you made are of very good quality and the approach to making them never ceases to amaze me. The workshop you created there brings tears to my eyes. It turned out so beautiful. Incredible. Thank you for all the great films, keep it up. Stay healthy, you and your family and still have a lot of fun despite everything. Greetings from the extreme north of Germany.
Hi! Thank you! I am very glad that you like my projects. I try to share useful ideas. There are still a lot of interesting things planned - come by more often😉
Nicely done! Interesting that you've built a carport for a small van and a trailer that can stay outside in the rain and snow and not for a fancier car?! Maybe build it a bit longer for a bigger van in the future?
only for one reason - I don’t have fancier car 😂 For my dream - F150 Raptor I will build separate carport, but first time it will be standing inside my workshop 😉
Concrete would be ideal. It is always nice to have a number of flat surfaces to work on, especially if you find yourself doing a car job like brakes or suspension or something. If you don't think you'll do that under the carport, I've used crushed rock for a parking area before, but you are always fighting weeds. It isn't very easy to work on a car on a crushed gravel surface, if that comes up. Another alternative could be flat rock or paver stones - there are a range of low cost solutions for that if you don't mind putting in the labor.
Have a question for you - maybe you will tell me what better to do with a floor? Cover with crushed stone or fill with concrete or your idea, please feel free to tell me, I'll be very thankful 😉
Stone will more then do. Climbing wall for the kids on the side :) Love it
I agree with Crushed Stone is absolutely excellent.
Beautiful! 👍💪✌
Crushed stone is maybe better for the water to drain during the rain and snow seasons.
such a beautiful carport deserves a concrete floor
Concrete if you have the money.
Nice job 👍 your little supervisor did an awesome job as well.👍❤️😃

Love the build and craftmanship.
Thanks)
very good. european quality.
Thamk you!)
Very nice. I have a gravel floor in my “garage”, and always want the concrete floor when i perform maintenance to my vehicles. One day….
Did good big dog, there's a lot of people who wouldn't have thought about extending their concrete the way you did for your structural post.👍
i feel like i'd be so much more productive if i had one of those black chairs. great job and inspiring use of a chair
You have a dream workshop! ✌😅
Файна робота.
Дякую)
Congratulations on the work, this structure turned out very well.
Thanks ☺️

Интересно было бы посмотреть, как заливались стойки бетонные, на какую глубину. В целом осталось еще все вокруг залить асфальтом и будет все чики-пики
Красота!
Awesome. You could do gravel now and always add concrete later.
Thanks)
Красота получилась.А нахлест профнастила положен не навстречу водяному потоку?
Great shop apprentice! :)
😂😂😂😂 Brothers Yura Vereshchak Killed Your here take Joins As Killer Good Mr. Vereshchak

Good working, but I'm afraid that the structure would be really weak to fight a heavy wind ... only once !
I give a lifetime guarantee that the wind won't break :)
