Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis The Wise? I thought not. It's not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life… He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself.

Now we need a movie starring Tommy Wiseau as James Franco about the making of The Disaster Artist
Yes, we must go deeper.
No we need a movie that's big in CGI and Blue screen, but the final cut they forgot to put in all the CGI so it's just actors acting around blue screen. Then it's revealed Tommy directed it.
I'd gladly watch Tommy Wiseau re-enact the making of almost any James Franco movie. 127 hours would be an easy one - no need to cast alot of people.
HAHHAHAA
Filmception
You have to give it to Tommy. The man is always 100 % himself. He doesn't hide his oddities. He fully embraces them. And the best thing is, this got him somewhere. It's not where he originally wanted to end up. But he seems to be happy with where he is. That's quite an achievement, in my eyes.

Franco isn't mocking him you can tell he admires him in a strange way
valentinecsgo I noticed that too. I think this is why only he could pull that movie of.
He’s fascinated by him.
Franco is an artist and Tommy is without a doubt a performance artist unlike any other, 100% unique. Franco admires artistry, the struggle, and taking the risk. Ultimately, Tommy made The Room for himself and his friend, Greg. That was the intended audience. That the rest of us like The Room or love to hate The Room or whatever feelings we get from The Room is icing on the cake for Tommy. James Franco realized this and made the movie to tell us this. It reminds me a lot of the recent career of Kevin Smith which I do not think is a mistake given the nature of this movie. Kevin Smith makes movies now for himself, his friends, and "his audience" and tries not to care about critics and people who don't get him. That still makes him a successful artist even though haters gonna hate--but what have they created?
This is true. It seems like a lot of people, including the producers and celebrities in the movie really admire Tommy for this as well. He truly is a purer artist than mos who do things out of talent or mastery.
You mean you don't?
People think James makes fun of Tommy but I think he's genuinely just as lost about this whole Tommy persona as the rest of us
Hence he made a movie about and played him.
I love how when James quotes Tommy, he instinctively does the accent.

True. Tommy was notorious for never telling anybody anything about his background.
Really? I honestly need to re-read Disaster Artist..
Legend say he is from Poland
Jose Colella And that legend seems very likely. There is evidence of a man called Tomasz Wieczór/Wieczorek/Wieczorkowski (don't remember exactly) being born on Poznań around the time when our Tommy might've been born. Someone even tracked a Wieczor family in New Orleans, probably his aunt and uncle who he used to live with.
Europe is a big country...
'You can laugh, you can cry, you can express yourself but please don't hurt yourself', that's the most deep and brilliant description of a movie i've ever heard. Met Tommy at a screening and he was so lovely, he genuinely appreciates his fans and accepts that he's a cult icon now, I don't think he was keen on the idea a few years back but the dudes cashing in on screenings and meet and greets and will for years to come, every college student that catches onto 'The Room' starts the cycle all over again.
After watching "The Joker" these interviewers should really respect and do less mockery out of people who dont fit in the matrix.

What I love is, Tommy has absolutely no idea that his movie was awful
or maybe he does and has fooled us all
Not like my plans which are real and very good, I just need muneh
@@dutchvanderlinde4938 I'm not doubting you, Dutch. You know I always give you all I have. It's just, we’re Thieves, In A World That Don’t Want Us No More
You guys have a trip to Tahiti.
I see nothing that could indicate that. What I see is Tommy became fully aware of the situation long time ago and now he's pretty much making fun of it which obviously is profitable

I'm glad these 2 came 2gether! Tommy is his own person wether u understand that or not n James takes him that way, but doesn't patronize him because James Franco is also a whole world on his own! So respect! Also the work he did making the disaster artist was fantastic! I saw true talent, genius, Franco was Tommy down 2 an eyelash! Beautiful 2 watch! He blew me away n I don't mind gushing! Brilliant!
