Tiffany, Thank you for showing the sedge stitch using chunky yarn. I've bought so much chunky yarn but put off using it because I was intimidated by the yarn. I'm a beginner and have crocheted a linen stitch blanket, granny stitch blanket, Chevron pattern blanket, C2C blankets and suzette stitch blanket. All using regular yarn never chunky or bulky. Now I'm confident I can crochet my 1st sedge stitch chunky blanket my daughter has been wanting. I can't thank you enough! P.S. - What level am I at now? I've crocheted 4 scarfs, 9 blankets, 4 pot holders, 1 Christmas stocking. Now I'm working on my 10 blanket.
Thank you for such a wonderful tutorial. Yes, I'm going to make a baby blanket for my grandson who is expected to arrive soon. I love the way this stitch looks.
I was just looking for a tutorial for this stitch. Someone told me about this stitch and your video was the first one I found. Thank you for this demo.
I am new to your page. I never heard of this stitch so I researched it and found you. I love the way you describe how to do it. Your tutorial is spot on, easy to follow. I am subscribing to your page. Have to go and check out your other videos now. Thank you!
Just found this stitch pattern i love it just making a cushion cover for myself can't wait till its finished and i can make another with different yarn...Thank you very much for sharing this pattern..xx
Thank you very much. I was thinking of making a sweater for my husband and desperately looking for something different, your stitches pattern is very nice, I will do it.
I really love how normal you are when speaking. Most videos people are overly cheery .. but for crocheting in the evening when the kids are asleep.. I don't want to hear someone super cheery and high pitched lol. Great video!
Thank you for sharing this beautiful pattern. I am currently crocheting this blanket, but I need help with the border. Can you please make a video on the border?
I followed the link to the Sedge Stitch Baby Blanket and I'm confused about the border. I understand that you do each side separately for 7 rows, but then you chain 3 and go where? Isn't that side that you just finished going to be taller than the side next to it? Maybe you could do a tutorial for this blanket as well?
Really easy to follow - very calm, thank you!
So pretty! I really appreciate the pace of your instruction and that you clearly show where you're placing your hook. Can't wait to try.
Thanks really good and I like your calm voice and you do not rush and straight to the point.
This was a great quick tutorial. I started a sample swatch after and it's working perfectly - straight edges and all. Thank you so much!

I don't know exactly but it's probably Bernat roving. She frequently uses that yarn. So that would be my guess.
