Don’t see how any other outcome would be possible if you watched the trial. Self defense is not chasing down a man and gunning him down.

@@sergioperez2771 Cops for 200+ years have been chasing down and murdering innocent people, (usually blacks/browns), but always not rich. Cops for 200 years have been found justified. Many shoot them in the back....multiple times to make sure they are dead and there is no witness. Now that we have cell phone cameras and thought video evidence would convict.....but nope.

The time is NOW to hold the police captain and echelon and the prosecutor's office that tried to bury this incident without any investigation or charges. They need to be charged with obstruction of justice, witness tampering, abuse of authority, abuse of discretion and a bevy of other charges.

I feel that the Judge in the Rittenhouse case as well as this one did the job well and the verdicts were accurate based on the evidence.
I’m curious, do you not like him exclusively because of the verdict of the case or some other reason?

@@macmen007 Yes it's a new aspect of modern law when things can be recorded in such detail. I watched the various Rittenhouse videos multiple times and they thankfully showed his innocence and watching this one also was pretty shocking. Those guys probably thought they were upholding justice or something but they clearly went way too far and the verdict is correct.

Thing is you need evidence. No evidence to prove guilt or innocence you have to go not guilty. When theres enough evidence to say one way or another then you have to go the way the evidence takes you. You cant just take the word of witnesses. Youd also need dna, video, confessions, weapons, motive and so on. And the media doesnt have a say in whats real and what isnt.

I'm finding a greater respect for Georgians to start righting the systemic wrongs that have been perpetrated against people of color for centuries. Maybe the rest of the country will take heed and follow their lead. Justice has only been partially served. Those two D.A.'s must also be prosecuted and punished.
