This was unbelievably helpful. I read several books that mentioned mindful attention but didn't get in a habit of doing it and had vague understanding of how it can be helpful. I think I finally get it now! Imagining the feared event and calming yourself down multiple times makes sense. I can see how it can desensitize me to the point of being less scared. Thank you so much! What's also interesting, earlier today I asked God to give me courage and wisdom to handle a very difficult conversation I have been terrified of having for a long time now. And now this video pops up.

Great tips! I'm so much more certain of everything after watching this. I especially liked the power part! It's so true about how easily "power" courses through me at sporting events despite my mostly mellow disposition. But if I can channel it there, I believe that I can channel that anywhere. Great example. Also, I knew the -A stood for action before you even said it. Thanks, Dr Aziz!

I'm not a shy type kind of girl, yet i observed, when quarantine got started, for almost 8 months and countin, I'm always in my room, and everytime i talked to someone or she/he will lend something or vice versa, i felt myself being trembling, even in my family.

I don’t get asked out when it comes to dating at all ! I know it’s not me it’s the men that don’t chose me. I’m tired of dating assholes. Even though it wasn’t really my choice in the beginning. But for some reason assholes like to pick me for some reason and I don’t like it at all but these videos do help in a way of confidence in so many ways I liked your video based on how to be a less nice and not more nice

    Dear Aziz!
Yesterday I had the feeling of having failed speaking in front of a group of people at work. Not only did I feel like saying stupid things, I also messed up the organisational stuff that I had to solve , because I was so nervous, self-critical and doubtful about myself and when I looked at people's faces I could see that they understood that I am not well organised and that I am not well prepared. Today I am going to work meeting the same people again, needing to speak up in front of the group, and (this is specially hard for me) making myself heard in very unstructurised situations (it's a summer school for students I am working on being part of the organisation team). Every mistake I made yesterday throughout the day, keeps turning and turning in my thoughts and I struggle how to cope with this. Any advice?

I try not to be attracted to people and act as if they do not exist.I am not good in small talk unless absolutely necessary. However, when I am in a situation where I am very relaxed,I become outgoing and confident but met with cold and unenthusiastic response. I figured that confidence is situation-dependent.

When I first found you seemed more willing to just want to help I don't know more genuine. I mean I understand nothing is free and if you have a service that people need it dictates that, that service has value. But I don't know I think you would have had more success if you were more like how you were when you started out. Now I just get the vibe that your like here's a basic idea wanna go deeper buy this. You used to wanna give more to help people before it came to the money aspect.. Now you just seem like any self help program. Just my opinion thanks for what you do give though.

Aziz does a ton of stuff for free that I've found extremely helpful. Can you imagine the amount of time he invests putting all these free videos together? Plus he gives one of his books away free at socialconfidencecenter.com/products/5-steps-to-unleash-your-inner-confidence/
Aziz is pretty generous in my opinion. The dude has to make a living somehow, it's only right that he charges for some of his services. How else is he going to support his family?

I just can't even be asked to socialize, it always the same bull crap they talk about, the same shit over and over again. I've tried to impress others and make them laugh and entertain them but honestly why? How did they help me? What did I gain? The moment I stop socialising my confidence declines by like 1giggawatt (if u know how significant that is), to regain my confidence it is a process that is like climbing mount Everest, dreadful and long, of course if you socialise all the time you'll be confident but I can't be asked to impress people anymore, I'm just bored of it, I don't even fear conversations, my fears are other problems now, new problems requiring far more strength that I didn't even expect, problems more difficult than socialising...
