Bunch of useful tips on this video unfortunately I had learned all the hard way. Good for the one just starting out. Clean metal to metal contact is really important. Good job on the video thanks.
any barrel will work with the action like 737r. The gunsmith just needs to know the dimensions of the action, and in the case of the 737r since their actions all have the same exact dimensions due to their tight tolerances, the gunsmith just need to see the blueprint measurements and chamber up the barrel based on that. You don't even have to send in your action. In fact, many of the top actions like curtis, bighorn, lone peak will have their dimensions for their actions available for gunsmiths to use to make a prefit barrel for you
@@keokio7 Minus Curtis out of there though. Inconsistent head spacing and poor Rockwell Harding rules them out for us. Otherwise, you are correct. thanks for the comments.

Love my pre-fits from Blue Mountain Precision! They shoot lights out! Great video Eric!
Thanks Eric a great video. It's what I am looking for in a action to be able to use more than 1 barrel.
This was really helpful
Does the 737 and Fuzion use the exact same prefits?
any downside to doing a prefit ? Are the bighorn actions timed also?? I kind of want controlled round feed
No downsides to pre-fits with top-notch actions. Yes, Zermatt/Big Horns work great for pre-fits.
Just curious, do you have to have a 07 ffl to do this kinda thing?
Yes
What type of action are you putting the barrel on?
Lone Peak arms Fuzion SS
What pre fit barrel works with the Impact Precision 737R? I thought their barrel was proprietary.
