    Cool.. Have learned a few thing's on your vids, thanks Dave.. Another method I learned for this is a bit of Jif on the brush - cuts through crime without foaming up to much, I then combo that by plugging in an expandable hose into the pole and plug the other end in to customers outside tap, no pump, battery or own water used😉

    I use this and Ionics vertigo cf25 with the flocked brush and spray nozzle to clean pvc. Makes your life so easy compared to just using water through a pole. Contact cleaner is great at breaking down heavy dirt but for regular cleaning I just use razrwash as it does a great job and is inexpensive. I don't mind spending money on tools as long as they make my life easy and work well and this does

      Agree with this one. Be careful spraying chemicals above your head, your lungs will absorb it like a squeaky sponge. Although it foams a bit, I see a lot of small airborn drops coming down. Stay safe. Reduce your risk on getting cancer in every way. Use of a good soft brush will eliminate spray in the air.

    Greeat video Dave, we want to see more of Dufus in future videos. How much of the detergent did you use to clean the two houses? Did you have to refill? Also, is there any danger if the solution dries on the glass?

      @squeakycleandave1  4 роки тому

      Thanks Sam. Diufus is semi retired and Hunter his place most of the time.
      For the 2 jobs I used about 8 litres of mix and you put in between 20-50ml/1ltr of water
      As with any chemical you need to be careful of plants and animals so if you do spill any you need to wash it down with plenty of water
      It’s best not to use it on really hot days. I did get some on the glass which dried and there didn’t seem to be any problem washing it off.

    Dave, so you think £50 to clean the outside and vacuum the inside of the front guttering is too expensive, given none of the kit we use, (and the chemicals of course), have been donated to us for free? I'd just like to hear your thoughts as this is what I charge and up 'til now, every customer has been over the moon with the results and was happy to pay that price.

    • @squeakycleandave1
      @squeakycleandave1  4 роки тому +1

      onetruecharlatan no mate I don’t think it’s to much There are a lot of things to take into consideration eg your location, size of gutter, how high it is, how dirty/full it is, access and what you are happy to earn.
      It’s up to each one of us what we want to charge. I would rather priced high rather then low which devalues the service for everyone else.
      As long as the customer is happy to pay it it’s got nothing to do with what anyone else thinks.
      All the poles in this video was the only thing I had been given. The rest of the kit I bought with my own money like most of the equipment I review

      Nice one. A long standing customer of mine finally asked me to clean the front guttering, (dirty doesn't even come close), after 15 years of cleaning the windows. She asked me in the winter and then put it off after, (Covid O_o ???). So she asked me last week again, I texted her with a date and the price for each service, clean and Vac, (£25 each), and she just shot back "I'll leave it but thanks for the offer". Now I just feel like a thief. I told her she knows where I am when she changes her mind, but I wanted to give her a piece of mine in all honesty. People today!!! If I'd told her it was free, she'd have got the whole street to have it done. Anyway, cheers fella.

      onetruecharlatan once you have worked out what your price is stick with it. P X S yes you could use a backpack but the chemical passes through the pump with a backpack which eats the seals. The constant flow works on compressed air so it’s not going through the pump so you can use it for soft wash as well. The other problem with the back is that it doesn’t foam the chemical so it’s not working to it’s full potential 👍

    Hi Dave, can this be connected to an ova 8 pole with the tubless kit installed? And what nozel would be needed to fit the pole m8? I'm struggling to find the right kit as I'm buying this fascia tool but only want to use my ova 8 pole

    • @squeakycleandave1
      @squeakycleandave1  4 роки тому +1

      Anthony Roberts the constant flow connects with a rectus fitting so you should be able to use it with any pole. The chemical can be applied with a brush or you could get a DA Components spray nozzle which are a euro thread attachment and a euro thread gooseneck from varitech

    • @squeakycleandave1

      Anthony Roberts not sure as I’ve never considered it as I tend to just use it on upvc. Might be worth contacting Ionics to double check 👍

      Adambrightmore the whole set up is from Ionics Systems.
      www.ionicsystems.com/uk/product-category/other-products/foam-cleaning-system/
      If it’s just the spray nozzle you want I think the Ionics one only fits Ionics poles so you might be better off going to DA Components
