Thank you for watching! It is much easier to run them this way because I don't have to figure out the angles. With them like this, so long as the axle is centered, the angles will find themselves. It's true that I will lose some flex, but with flex joints on each side, it will still flex a ton.
Like your video I’m getting ready to get back to work on my 76 square short bed only difference is I plan on off roading .can’t wait to see you do the front axle I just picked up a Dana 60 for the front of mine I want to loose all the leaf springs.
Hey again! When you used the four link calculator. How did you determine the vehicle mass? What weight did you input? I have the unsprung mass figured out but I’m not sure on the vehicle mass. Mine is an 86 K10 short bed so I would assume it would be close to what you used.
I had to go find my calculations LOL. I guesstimated for the engine and transmission I am using (big block Chevy and Alison transmission) Vehicle Mass - 5000.
In the next few weeks. I have been so busy at my real job 🤮. I told them I will be quitting soon. I need to get a real life again. Get back to building stuff!
@@ReshardsAutomotiveWorkshop I understand that. I gave up trucking because I wanted my life back. Been building my K10 for 4 years now and it’s getting closer. Thinking about doing a 4 link setup.
Questions go in this section 😅👇
My daughter has a 2000 C3500 Crew cab with 8ft bed. I think it's independent suspension? Is it possible to put a lift on it?
Yes. It is independent suspension. Those are difficult to lift. There is a few companies that sale kits for it.

Thank you so much, I'll have to look into it.
My k20 is gonna be a go explore and not worry about breaking. The less pavement the better.
I can't wait to see her finished 👌
Thank you. I was put back two weeks. My daily driver (f-250) was having fuel pump and regulator issues. S***
You have me invested in this project. Take your time and good luck.
Thank you. I will be getting back on it now that fall is here. Summers in south Louisiana are hell on earth. It's too hot to work in a metal shop.
Great video!!! Nice to see that thing coming together. I see you have the matching rear bumper to my front bumper of my dually
My dad loved that bumper so much. I'm gonna clean it up and keep it.
Cool projects
Thanks. Yours also! I wish I was home more to work on them. LOL
I do oil and gas work all over America.
Why did you run the front upper joints vertical instead of horizontal? Wont that cause binding even with the johnny joints?

Thank you. I have been a complete BUM this year. 😆 Your comments help motivate me. 😎👍

👍👍👍
Thanks. I haven't done anything since this video ☹️. I swear, I will get back to it when it cools off. It's too damn hot in the south.
Why has it been a year since upload? Just found your channel while looking for ideas abt fender trimming.
I have been very busy. I really want to make more videos.
