This guy made the show more enjoyable to watch, when he left I stopped watching Muscle Car. Then I seen he had a show on Speed Channel and started watching more Speed Channel than Spike TV for these DIY car shows.
You cry babies, he is from the Bronx. Some talk loud. Dude is solid. After working as a seabee engineer for seal team 8, he got a degree in behavioral science. Worked with kids. Connected with them thru building motors and cars. Turned their lives around. His bio goes on and on. Again, solid dude.
Triangulated 4-link works best in a rock crawler, not a street bruiser...prone to induce steer is sloppy and binding if too tight on short a travel setup. Truck arms with Panhard bar is simplest. 4-link has a lot of adjustability for launch characteristics, but I'd take a well designed Panhard bar over a wishbone setup for performance. The wishbone is more common for the constant suspension geometry changes associated with the slammed airbag setups. Most diagonal link designs suck. Best solid-axle, overall performance setup there is = a torque-arm with a Panhard bar or Watts link.

Thanks Lou for explaining this!
Nothing wrong with good leaf springs. In fact they can be exceptional for handling. There are a lot of advantages when they're sorted out.
nothing wrong with leaf springs but just like with bias ply tires or stock cylinder heads...there are better options that offer better performance.
Would like see a early Jag IRS tutorial using a watts linkage and/or triangulated swing arm
