Just like I skipped endless eight to last episode
endless eight was the best part of the show for me

It would certainly explain why Twilight exists.
Thank you, I could have gone a full month without being reminded that that aborted atrocity of non-literature exists, but no.

Shaun Gibson Many preteen girls.
Just finished the Anime.. and let me say, if you are on the fence about watching this.. it isn't what you think it is. It is so much more than that. It's brilliant.
Well thank you very much sir
really I felt it was trying too hard to be cleaver while in fact actually being frustrating and poorly paced
Charles Balliet Its my favorite anime ever. Its clever, yet very simple and logical, funny, heartfelt, wholesome and unique. There has to be lot of nostalgia talking, but for me, the charm of it all is deciding factor.
@Amf that's how I felt about ?spice and wolf" and "Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions"

Haruhism sounds like a real religion. lol

This is, eight years old now, but I gotta say.
Watched it both dubbed and subbed, broadcast order and chronological order (read: four times total).
And lemme tell ya, I'm one of those guys who, from then on, *chose to rewatch it repeatedly in only dubbed chronological.*
I don't care if I'm watching it in the unintended order, or if I'm not one of y'all purists; it brought me the greatest joy to watch it in order - otherwise I was most horribly confused.
I rather enjoyed "Some day in the rain" as the final episode. It was like a nice cup of tea after all the commotions.
+yellow6ird Me Too. These shows always end so bombastically and revelatory that I feel I'm left with a big hole afterwards. It's kind of nice to have some longer resolution that doesn't leave the viewer having to glaze over the last episode for hours before feeling ok about the series ending. In fact, I kinda want more shows to take this approach.
I watched all of endless 8 and I regretted it.
I watched it part by part on UA-cam. So, essentially, I watched it three times over. It sure as hell felt "endless."
Natesh13 You have my sympathy.
i loved it and would rewatch it
@@Natesh13 I only watched episodes 1 and 8 of the endless eight arc but you have my sympathy
I got to Endless Eight 5 then got tired of it so skipped to the last one…
The dub in the anime was pretty good, I had no problem with it at all. I liked it a lot.
Same here
Dub was god tier, especially when Johnny Yong Bosch in there. Anyone saying otherwise is most likely a shitter. Please, if u think thendub is bad, anyone, i mean anyone, tell me why because the high pitched fuckin japanese voices from girls annoy me the most.
Im german and i like the german dub . The japabese is also great But i just LOVE the english dub
That Jerk Mika I liked the voices for Kyon, Yuki and Mikuru, but i didn't like the one for Haruhi. I prefered the japanese to all of them anyway, but compared to other anime dubs, this was pretty damn good.
That Jerk Mika I prefer Crispin Freemans voice for Kyon 10x more than Japanese version. Aya Hirano as Haruhi was perfect though so it's difficult for me to decide which one is better.
He reviewed my favorite anime.
Sweet.
Mine too!
Same!!
DeNile Reid
Always.
Until I see something that bounces upon this with an interesting story arc with every anime trope.
Nope.
Favorite anime.
What is so great about this series? Haruhi comes across as bossy and the entire anime seems to revolve around her whims and fancies.
I haven't seen it yet but I am debating why one should.
@@zenomasker2579 Haganai.
How I wish there was a season 3.
THIS! my life would theoretically be complete
the movie was basically season 3
Jimmy McNulty
Then how about a season 4.
DerpTroll now that is something we probably need
I've heard that they're going to make a reboot either this year or 2019
The fact that a large chunk of this anime seemed to be parody on other anime forms, with actual interesting characters, and a plot that always seems to be on track while never revealing too much, makes this one of my favorite animes. I liked the pacing in that it really made you feel like you were in school, and there was nothing to do, and though a conflict arose in every episode, it never felt repetitive, and you never felt sick of it. I think that's also what made the Endless Eight brilliant, so you felt it was an eternity long as well. In my eyes, it HAD to he insufferable to do its job, just like they HAD to make boring episodes or episodes that got off the ground slowly for realism and pace.
The idea to make Kyon lead, as he's similar to the stereotypical secondary, "normal" sarcastic character that everyone favors over the real lead (a la Sokka in A:TLA or Ron in Harry Potter), was a fantastic choice. He's a lead that I think people could easily favor over the rest of the cast.
And the rest of the characters, while parodies on their own medium, are great! Interesting! Flawed but lovely. It comes out a ton in Disappearance, too.
The high school drama mixed with Haruhi drama mixed with the obvious jokes this show makes allows it to seal a spot for me at the top of my list. Most of the episodes has you dissecting characters and plot... and that's what makes it interesting, for me.
The release order gives me a very HIMYM vibe. It matches the tone of this show. Try it out!
I love this show, I really do. But god, that season 2 nightmare, The Endless Eight. It does something a show should never do, take characters we know and love, and make us want to kill them! If you don't know what I'm talking about, I won't spoil it for you. That monster is something you have to see for yourself.
But least they animated the same episodes 8 times instead of just replaying it.
***** And there are 6 other Haruhi short stories they could have animated. WHY
Anonymous7056 I absolutely loved this show, but endless fucking 8 grabbed it by the hair, dragged it in an alley, and beat it to death with a brick. Someday in the rain was bad, but it they had done what Zak Powers had suggested, and also just removed Someday in the rain, this series would have been one of (if not the) best anime of all time.
Several of the Haruhi novels are made up of several short stories, one of which is Endless Eight. The original story only goes through the loop one time, rather than eight, and is only 30 pages long.
It's almost like we watched the same review....strange
PLEASE REVIEW THE DISAPPEARANCE PLEASE! Seriously, people need to know how much of a masterpiece it is.
I also like that there's a Haruhi Suzumiya religion. "Haruhiism" - Believing that god is among us as a ordinary high school girl.
MARY CHRISTMAS :3
Don't know about others, but Lain is the only god I will ever believe in.
ignisv42 MARY CHRISTMAS
Edward Elric Merry*
MCtootsie Thanks :)
hmm.. you know actually, i have a small feeling of my own, Haruhi and Kyon.. are both god, sort of like in Hancock, they were built in pairs but their powers are next to none when within close proximity with each other, which is why the interesting stuff always happens one day later since Haruhi and Kyon live on different sides of the large town they live in
MIKURU BEAM!
i don't understand why this anime got so popular, in my opinion its good, but far from great. the overall concept of the series is amazing: "your friend is unknowingly god and to ensure the stability of the universe you have to keep them satisfied with their mundane life without letting them find out they're god". the premise was bursting with potential that i just feel the series didn't embrace or explore fully. instead it feels like they made an underwhelming attempt to deliver on the original concept and then to make it seem more interesting they aired it out of chronological order, which actually worked to a certain extent, but i was left feeling a little disappointed. and then season 2 didn't really add much off anything at all to the whole experience. the movie was much better though.
I am with you on that. I never understood why it was so popular as well. Just as you said the concept is great. In my eyes though it was put together in a rather boring way.
same, i enjoyed it for what it was but i dont think its more then a decent SoL anime. The story was a little all over the place for me, sometimes they would focus on the supernatural element of the show but switched back to a goofy episode about them forming a baseball team or whatever the next episode.
They could have done a lot more with the premise, but i still think its a good anime. The movie is on a whole other level however, really loved it.
Just finished this, and loved it. I found about five different versions of what the release order was, so I just ended up watching it chronologically. I think you may have been exaggerating about the last episode, that couldn't have been more than ten minutes tops of that one room.
Are we not gonna talk about how the SOS Brigade didn't have a teacher supervisor for 6 months even though that's part of the requirements to have a legit club?
Update: Okay, my friend just told me that they explain that in the manga. My fault. Sorry.
I think they explain it in the anime too.
Can you explain?
MrSprinkledCupcake The SOS Brigade is not a legit club. Haruhi asked for the school council to let she make the SOS Brigade but they just ignored her to avoid trouble. Since they didn't say "no", she made the club anyway.
I'm willing to bet it's Okabe that my friend was talking about because recently I started reading the manga (because I miss it) and did some rewatching on some episodes (because fuck you, I love this series). Okabe was the teacher that stopped Haruhi and Mikuru from handing out their flyers for the SOS Brigade while wearing bunny outfits so I guess that makes him their supervisor (?) Also, he was mentioned in both anime and manga so LimaLimao might be right.
I watched it subbed, Broadcast order, before I read anything about it, to avoid spoilers.
Thanks internet, now I hate myself.
But that's the correct way of watching it!
+Elsie the DVD order is off my be that's just the Australian/madman release
but Broadcast order is the way to go
+Long Nguyen I watched the Oder where it was The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzamiya part 1-5 first
Kenpachi The destroyer what order does the DVD put it in?
Haruhi's japanese dub was really really good in this. Oh and thanks for the early christmas gift!
agreed, im not into english dubbed anime, but hearing snippets of the anime while watching this make me want to watch :P
Haruhi is the anime that got me interested in anime. After watching many Anime Haruhi is still up in my top 5 list. I think this video should have mentioned to watch the movie "The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya". That movie ties everything together very well and explains a lot of the things you see in season one. Anyways, go watch. 9/10 is what I would definitely give.
And yes endless 8 was COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY. I wanted to kill myself after "endless 5"........
I... I can't believe you rated it this high! I'm constantly arguing with my friends trying to explain why I like it, when even I know I shouldn't
Okay i think ill manage, seems pretty cool, kay lets see the order! *sees list and walks out*
i came back to see if i could watch it...i forgot the watch order entirely and that i made this comment...
My biggest gripe with this series was the Endless Eight episodes. Watching the same episode eight times in a row was too much. I realize that each one had slight differences, but they were never big/important enough to make the episode worth watching.
The least that they could have done was to change the second half of each episode to show the different ways the group tries to break the loop after discovering they're in one, but they don't even do that. The only differences between the episodes are insignificant things like what clothes the characters are wearing, or the exact words that come out of their mouths (even though the overall meaning is the same), or characters will take their actions at slightly different parts of the conversations they're having. Ultimately, none of these differences has any bearing on the story.
To anyone who hasn't seen the series yet: my advice is to just watch the first, second, and last Endless Eight episodes. You see everything you need to, and won't miss anything important.
Yah I was confused if I was looping the episode or something. I didn't like how they put so many episodes into that loop though.
+Wells I think it was supposed to show how annoying it is to sit through 8 episodes hoping for something to change whereas Nagato had to sit through that tens of thousands of times, it leads on to what happens in The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya.
PoisonPanda1103 Don't get me wrong, I understand that perspective, but boring your audience isn't something you should ever be trying to do.
I think they decided to take a risk to try and put you in the feeling that Nagato had to understand her actions later in the series.
+Wells That is exactly what they want. Become bored and hate it all. Then imagine watching this about 15 500 times over and over. Skipping it is totally agreeable but only if you understand the pain she had to go through all these times since it's pretty important for the movie The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya which is why the endless eight exist
I Really wish this guy was more popular he's one of the best reviewers.
He ll be dude he ll be
wel a steady 100,000 views per almost all vids is quite impressive actually
Come to think of it we still don't know his real name do we...
Thats his name
John Smith?

I've watched this show way before I watched this video but your review made me wanna watch it again. Great review, I don't think anybody else could've done it any better than you have. This is one of the best reviews ive watched.
OOOHH boy, endless eight... Cant wait to see what you have to say on that.
I personally "loved" the endless 8. While it was indeed tedious to get through, and probably could have done with less than 8, say 4 - 5 max, it delivered exactly what that arc was meant to do, and I watched each and everyone all the way through.Would you rather they release as many episodes for the time span of that arc? HA!
oh lord a whole video dedicated to the endless 8?
This is gonna be good.
great review, and i was waiting and waiting for the reference to Endless Eight. Glad you're dedicating more toward it, cause i was yearning for it :P
You don't know how long I've waited to see you review Haruhi man!
One thing that has irritated me about this show was the lack of closure during the murder mystery arc. Y'know, when they were on the island playing detective and Kyon and Istuki came to the realization that Haruhi created a murderer and yet they didn't go back to the island to stop it.
That's because KyoAni just made that up for the anime. In the original story, that doesn't happen. Also, they all get drunk, so that's a thing.
Anonymous7056 Well, if they are going to make up a story they could at least finish it.
Tyr Barghest True, but I don't think saying "maybe something is possibly there!" really counts as starting up a story.
what irritated me is whenever anything deep in the story is about to happen it's alluded to then dropped instantly. Like when Mikuru suggests that Haruhi is not a God but a catalyst for weirdness, Itski then talks about a bloody battle raging behind the scenes and the *poof* nothing.
That's the opposite of what happened tho? Koizumi and his organization made a fake murder mystery so Haruhi could solve it. Nobody died, much less was killed.
as hard as i try i just cant stop myself from loving this show, its has become one of my guilty pleasures :3
How is it a guilty pleasure if it's good? The principle of a guilty pleasure is loving something that is generally known as bad
Its hard to look at this show in much of a positive light since it has paved the way for most of the moe and slice of life school shows that have been over saturating the medium today.
Yes there are plenty of shows that came out in the wake of the moe awakening that were amazing like Tatami Galaxy, Gurren Lagann, NHK, and many others. But as you had said "They weren't badly written, but rather written in a simple way" , most of those moe shows that followed Haruhi, K-on, and Lucky star were just that, simple stories. there's nothing particularly wrong with simple stories here or there but when most of the show that come out and selling are just cute girls being cute what does that say to the guys who are making money off of this. If they see that its so easy to make money off of it then they wont want to take risk and do interesting things. The medium wont evolve it will stay stagnant. The main problem here isn't really even Moe. Moe is really just a genre just like mecha or sci-fi.
i have tried so hard to like it but its near impossible.
Ironically Tatami Galaxy has a similar concept to Haruhi, except dryer but dumb hipsters like you will eat it up as some super deep show while shitting on Haruhi anyway.
Wendee Lee
I was actually looking to see if he had reviewed this just yesterday. Nice timing man! :D
Ahhh, I was wondering when you would make a review about this great of an anime.
Keep the reviews going, I like your style!
Great>>> piece
whoo! that was awesome, now I cant wait for the 8 following reviews of Haruhi with minor changes!
i was waiting for you to do this!
Another great one, Ark. Can't wait to see you tackle the "Endless Eight".
I had watched this anime yearsss ago and today I just remembered about it and came to this review video just to see how people felt about this anime..it was amazing..it's underated I feel..not alot of people talk about this show..but it's good to see so many people appreciating this work🙌🏼🙌🏼
I guess I'll be the first and only one to say that I really enjoyed "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya"... and it will always be one of my absolute favorite anime shows ever. Heck, this anime/manga created Yuki Nagato, so all arguments are instantly invalid X3
Great review, by the way :)
***** Agreed!
I gotta say I was hesitant to watching a review but I dig your format ! thanks for the quality content
I normally don't watch anime reviews, but your reviews are so helpful and entertaining...that I've made an exception. Thanks for keeping me culturally aware of good anime. :)
Saw this in my inbox... fangasm.
Ok, this review was great as always, but i couldn't stop noticing that your Box set randomly popped into the back corner near the end of the review. DAMN YOU, OCD! Anyway, great review as always Ark, this is a great Christmas Present for all of us. And man, Endless Eight is going to be........... Interesting, to say the least.
Thank you, because of your review I watched every episode (in the order they were originally released), even the endless 8 I enjoyed a lot... seriously! Sure makes you think a lot :D
Loved the analysis of the show. Look forward to many more videos.
Kyon
The only man in existence who can keep God on a leash.
Only if he stays with her. It's sorta like a Stockholm Syndrome relationship.
you know that thing where kyon knocked the back of his head into the desk? it does not feel good. (yes, i did it.)
This seems like my kind of thing. I'll have to check it out - Thanks for the review as always!
I called it! Been waiting a long time for this one! :D
Great review, I am really looking forward to hearing your thoughts on Endless Eight, and of course, The Disappearance. Haruhi was the first series I watched and I was absolutely enraptured by it.
I've been waiting for this one! This is one of my favorite shows of all time, and definitely deserves the 'Certified Frosty' that you gave it.
Although the Endless Eight is going to be a real b****.
i LOVE how you brought up the homework at the end.
XD finally you do a review of this anime. I loved it so much.
Because of your review I decided to check it out and it is awesome! One of my favorite series! Thanks!
I have waited for you to review this forever! Great review, I agree with you on the show! You must review the movie also because the movie is what made the anime for me :) I'd like to hear your thoughts on Toradora also :) review these please x) keep it up :)

Finally...
I think you covered all the bases, and it was a fun review to watch.
Nicely done.
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is my personal favorite anime.
Glad that you got to reviewing it, and you did a spectacular job as well. Now my favorite review of yours - you make an apt and concise explanation/recommendation for the show and I was reminded about some of the best aspects of the show that I was beginning to forget. This review was justified - it wasn't preachy or ranty, it wasn't personal nor was it without emotion. Again a fantastic review, strengthening my faith in you as my number 1 anime reviewer on youtube.
I really wonder when he's gunna review Code Geass, seeings how it's one of my most favorite animes out there, seeing his opinion and score on it I think would help me gauge how he rates other things.
I don't get how that show is popular -_- it isn't that good and it really shouldn't take him reviewing a show you like for you to gauge how he reviews things (it would actually make it harder since you have a bias towards the show so you automatically think it is better than what it actually is).
Excuse me, I need to go change my pants..I may have jizzed a bit when I saw this video in my sub box X3 Good job arkada, another awesome review of another awesome anime
you got the best anime reviews on youtube :D
This video shows what I feel about this anime completely! I'm gonna subscribe! Best review I ever saw in my life!
endless eight.....
Don't remind me of that. It was almost a sorry excuse to make another season of a popular series just to make some bling bling.
If you're a fan of anime at all, this series is a must watch. The song at the high school festival is one of my favorite moments in all the genre.
Just bought the DVD based off of this review. So happy I got this and the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya movie. Thanks for the awesome reviews.
Am I the only one who didn't mind the endless eight? It wasn't lazy since Kyoto Animation reanimated different angles and shots and even some of the dialog was worded differently.
As well, I felt it as more of a experience. It made me get more into the story and feel the emotions that the characters, especially Yuki, felt. It felt so good when it finally ended.
That to me, was an experience that I was glad I experienced.
The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi is the anime with the biggest influence and impact for the future of anime in the last decade at least or more. It started the crazy light novel adaption boom that we saw in anime the last few years. This anime changed Kyoani and made them to what they are today.
I actually saw the anime in broadcast order - because I already watched anime as they aired from 2000 - not much choice there to do it in any other way.
It is a masterpiece.
Nah, i'd say that the anime that's had the biggest impact in the last decade would be FMA(2003). It gave Studio BONES the massive fortune it needed to release some of the most popular shows out there, it spawned a remake that many praise as the creme de la creme of anime, though i myself find it to be overrated, and other battle shounen anime have been trying ridiculously hard to take it's place like Hunter X Hunter and you can even tell just how much Attack on Titan takes from FMA.
TheEastunder is hunter hunter that good i have never watch it :o
I've only watched the first arc, which is around 26 episodes, and from what i've seen, it's definitely worth checking out.
Deusora top 3 shounen manga out .
god damnit arkada, i can't listen to you if you put "Only God Knows" on the background..can't resist.. must sing along...
Having an Arkada review posted on my birthday makes the day so much better!
Can't wait for your review of the film :)
next do a review of the Disappearance of Haruhi
Gigguk has a splendid review of it. If you don't know him already, I consider him as good as Arkada
And does anyone know if there's a list of his Certified Frosty anime?
Entraya Korsbakke On the live stream he said he's going to make one or is in the process of making one. Also Arkada and Gigguk are friends and do Podtaku together, so yeah they're definitely both awesome :P
1Eilatan
not to dis Gigguk, but I never really gt into his style. He's a good reviewer, I can tell that; I wont lie, you don't get that fanbase without being good. But I just never felt like he was the person for me. Why? I don't know, some of it is that he comes across as higher-than-thou (while I think Arkada comes across as being more of you buddy telling you about an anime) , or he says things like: the best anime has already been made. but I can always try again, maybe not all his videos will make me think: die you UK jerk with an extreme case of superiority complex. (not unique to Gigguk, it's how I feel about most UK/French/US people)
James Hunter It's long time since I've seen a review of his (since he has so dahm few) but i remember liking his style of humor, whereas Arkada is more technical (and also more frequent). While i disagree with how you perceive him, i can see where it comes from, and why some might find it annoying
madoka kanime vs haruhi suzumiya SEND THAT TO DEATH BATTLE
universe implodes
Thank you Arkada for reviewing this anime. It has been thrill to watch this show and (with the exception of episode 00) your advice on this show was just enough to for me to understand it without spoiling it. I'm glad I subscribed to your channel. Cheers mate!
FINALLY
I HAVE WAITED A YEAR FOR THIS
YO WATCH THE MOVIE. Nuff said.
You kind of need to see the 2 seasons first to understand the context...
+Superfield Well said. And if you actually watch the anime, Haruhi actually does even more questionable things than just the blackmailing the computer by sexual harassment incident.. For example, forcing people to practice baseball with her to the point where she put bruises this other girl. Or how the group have to enable Haruhi, to the point where they have to cheat to win this hard working baseball team just to entertain this godly spoiled brat.
The rest of the show is pretty much people doing regular school stuff like reading in silence(and yes, you do watch them do that, with nothing else happening), or organizing school events that are really nothing different than you doing it yourself at school. I mean if you are the type of person who just sits and does nothing you might find it interesting. As someone who actually do get involved in these activities and in a much more involved and interesting way, I don't see a point of siting on my butt to watch some fake people do it.
I find Haruhi to be too abusive and narcissistic (at one point she actually explains that she is depressed because she realized she isn't a special snowflake in the world. The only thing I could think of was "Girl, you need to see a therapist if you feel that the world should revolve around you.") and the rest of the characters being too much of a enablers to enjoy this anime.
If you do find the blackmailing scene disturbing, don't watch, it doesn't get any better.
The plot is pretty much about how a group of people have to endure and enable an abusive teenage girl who thinks the world should revolve around her so that she won't destroy the world.
Oh God, the endless eight, the turning point in all of Haruhi...
I hope to see your awesome video on it next time Arkada :D
My son arkhada is back! With ANOTHER THREE PART REVIEW YEAHH
Amazing video. I prefer Kyon Orde, but otherwise I agree with everything else. Subbed! Definitely subbed!
I'd give it a 9 or 10 though :P
Edit: Just so it's clear, I'm referring to subbing to Glass Reflection, not my viewing preferences.
sub so you prefer kyon's voice to come from a kamen rider voice actor rather than Crispin freeman who is incredibly good at it
I meant I wanted to subscribe to GR :P I love the dub, Crispin Freeman and the rest of the English cast are just perfect!
oh my bad sorry
Don't worry, that gave me a chuckle :)
I guarantee that most of the people in these comments have never read the light novels, which recently just ended. The anime only covered the first 3 or 4 books. There are 11 novels total (10 in America because the last two novels are combined into one). These novels get better and better as the story progresses. They become far more interesting and even more funny as the series goes on. Do yourselves a favor and read them sometime. I love the anime and its easily one of my favorites. It was one of those anime that got me into anime. Great review Arkada.
***** I would jump for joy if a new season was announced. But I dont think it will be happening anytime soon sadly.
I NEED AN SPOILER RIGHT NOW SONIC!!! Tell me, do Haruhi and Kyon live happy ever after as the couple they are??!!! I don't care about endings I care about plot so I'll read them if you answer my question... do they?!
***** I just can't, mate... I live in fear that the ending will not satisfy me at all. I love the characters, i love the platonic relationship between Haruhi and Kyon... and because of that love I can't read the novels without knowing what am I getting into. I just recently was disappointed in a manga that I read for 3 whole years and it was one of the worst feelings ever. Please tell me the truth....
I wont spoil it for you, but it does have a happy ending. I will say that much.
Jack Yagami I wont spoil it for you, but it does have a happy ending. I will say that much.
Haruhi Suzumiya is my most favorite anime, so I was very happy to see your review about this. :) Looking forward to your discussion on Endless Eight! I know not many people like it, and I fell asleep the first two times I tried watching it myself (lol), but I actually don't have that much an issue with it, really.
I'm glad I found your channel. :)
Can I get a list of all the 'Certified Frosty' anime?
You should probably change that Funi has the license for Haruhi now.
@Tobias Zechariah I swear I am going to eat you
@Simon Ari and you are my desert with your bot account
im not a bot though :P
my name literally used to be "NotBot" lmao
Can't wait to hear you opinion on the endless eight! Also, good review. Kinda wish you did an alternate review vid with spoilers that goes a bit more into the plot, but I'm sure that's kinda a silly time sink.
Thank you for your glowing recommendation for the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. Fell in love with her from the get go. Well.. her and Ms. Nagato. Anyways, I be been a fan of your reviews, etc... for a few years now, and never once have I thanked you for all of the work you put into your reviews. Though I regret to say we don’t exactly see eye to eye on all shows ( Sword Art Online being one of my absolute favorites, as well as Clannad and After Story ) I still come to your channel anytime I’m looking for a new show to watch. I respect you views and insights highly, and I will, as always continue to eagerly await your next video. Thank you again, and please... keep up the awesome work. Know that your work and you are appreciated.
Riot put the ending dance in league of legends as Ezreal's dance, if you didnt know or something
The Angry Dango of Doom Blizzard did the same for Mei's dance in Overwatch
Will you review the third movie of Madoka Magica?
man It's been so long since I've watched haruhi... way back when I remember it and the music being stuck with me for quite a while
you should make a checkmark video; quick re-cap of each anime you've watched, being its just the title and/or the final judgments of their plot, characters, music etc. and what you've rated them to this point. i think it would be cool, i'd love to have all of your final verdicts in one video! :)
Endless eight did happen, but so did the disappearance. So they kindof cancel each other out (except disappearance is so amazing it boots haruhi into another goddamn cosmos)
I agree with you completely, for all other fellow anime viewers, just.. painfully pull through the endless 8 and then reward yourself with, in my opinion, with one of the greatest anime movies to follow up a show EVER
I watched it chronologically and I loved it, I also found that last "boring" episode as being very refreshing and I even loved that episode. Episode 0 definitely goes first though,
The whole way through the review I was wondering if there was going to be an Endless Eight reference. Good thing I waited to watch the entire review before posting. :)
He really has a keen eye for anime, I couldn't have nearly described an anime as eloquently as he did while maintaining such precise attention to detail. If you are reading this, I was greatly impressed by how masterfully you maneuvered around your words, as free-flowing as a river. I'll definitely now consider watching it, after watching your review. I can see that you're really passionate about anime based on how enthusiastic you were as you were talking about the series, giving insight on it, and the ending scene in which I saw your channel name in Japanese. Thank you for opening my eyes.
