And how much of old school, we don't talk about it, and living in denial did the parents/grandparents do? They are just as much to blame as the child's mother. Please help others see the signs instead of judging. We desperately need people like you to help those that are going through the same stuff. Parenthood is hard without mental illness or mental conditions being a factor. Much more for those who do. And sometimes parents don't even know they have them until after their children are born. Be kind. Be understanding. Be fair as possible.

I called the police on a neighbor who put their toddler out back in the cold winter. She screamed at the sliding glass door for several min until they finally let her back in. It was 20 degrees outside, snow and the child was only wearing some light weight pjs.

I have been a house wife for 7 years. 24/7 checking out if my daughters are healthy and happy. There are times that my mind confuses me on my purpose, yet, whenever I hear my daughter cries, I immediately become hysterical whenever they needed me to be by there side, and I immediately get my self back right through my track. I also help my husband to do some earning because I don't eant him to feel drain to financial matters. Becoming a Mother is tough, there's no retirement to become one. I do a lot of things for my children, I became the person that I never thought I could become and that is being a Mother. If you're purpose is to just have a child, without putting any effort to their needs, please don't make yourself one. Because you need to make sure that you should be physically, emotionally and mentally strong. It takes courage to become a Mother and to have a child.

@@anousha_irfan381 court cases probably took a while to get going and I’m not sure how long it took that devil to plead guilty… The police found the baby when the mom got home because she called 911… Not sure why this took so long or whatever, but the baby was found when the mom came home which was 10 days.

The baby didn’t just starve, baby was dehydrated, diaper full of urine and feces, like the urine alone had to be burning that baby’s skin and the feces, causing infection, because it’s left in her diaper and the baby is sitting in it for 10 days.. then crying because her organs are shutting down… that woman is no mother, she’s a demon… how could you do such a thing to a child… while you eat, drink and vacation in PR like you don’t have any responsibility, and abandoning your child…. I miss my baby right now. I'm always away from home for 3-4 days because of school and i always miss her. I always call my mom 3x a day... morning, afternoon and evening to check on them. Every friday when i'm done in clinic (i'm a dentistry student), im always in a rush going home. I dont mind travelling for 4 hrs in a bus to get home arriving there late at night. Seeing my child smile while approaching me hastily... saying mama takes away my stress and exhaustion. So blessed to have a child and my baby is blessed to have a loving family. ❤

Try not to let it get a hold of you. It's incredibly sad and heartbreaking, but little girl is at peace and wrapped in love now. I used to be the same way and see these things, and I'd be depressed for weeks. You care a lot, and that's okay, but breathe. Don't allow the world's evil people to get the best of you.

@@danidee3742 I read in a newspaper article that her parents were visiting another country with her older daughter, 8 I believe. I wished she would have left her poor baby with someone.
Bottom line is, she didn’t want her daughter. Probably felt her child was a burden and stopping her from her freedom… so she opted to not take her baby with her and opted out of having someone at least come and take care of the baby. She wanted nothing to do with her baby.

Expressing more emotion when grief is involved doesn't necessarily mean that someone is actually more affected by that loss. Sometimes the loss is so significant... that it's too hard for the mind and body to process. I'm 36 and just learned that lesson myself back in December. Anyway, If you've never been in that position before yourself than I honestly envy you.
If you knowingly stop taking a medication that critical to your decision making then you are 100% responsible for the actions you take while off those meds.

We need to charge ALL involved as I’m confident people knew that child was being neglected. The mum is horrible and needs the whole court thrown at her and some street justice in prison BUT I want the grandparents investigated, I want the dude she’s dating investigated, I want the neighbours investigated as despite them babysitting I want to know did they raise concerns or flag the mum.

Agreed. I have bipolar 1, and my 4 kids are always cared for. If I get unwell, I tell my husband, and he and his mom help me where needed. I will tell them when I feel aggressive not to leave me alone with the kids until I'm better able to manage my own emotions.
I am not a mother and I don't know what the stresses of being a mother feels like. But I have struggled with depression in the past. I've had pets that I still took care and family that I still showed up for even though I didn't find it in me to even shower or brush my own teeth for days... I just can't agree with the fact that she is trying to blame her mental health. When you have proper morals, depression doesn't change that. There is no way to justify leaving a baby unattended for hours let alone days upon weeks. She was selfish and she knows it.
