Ummmm no. She exercised her right. No one should talk to police without an attorney. Let the evidence speak. In this case it spoke volumes so there was no need for her to talk. It seems ppl get too caught up in emotions and watching many interrogations of ppl who don’t exercise their right to remain silent, that it’s thought talking is mandatory. It’s not. Tbh, those detectives could’ve messed up everything by constantly talking after she said she wanted an attorney. Then y’all would be pointing fingers at them. Hearing a mother calling her children evil is beyond concerning.
Those two women are the only thing evil.
Kind of like the Cheater that thinks their spouse and everyone is cheating...because that's what they do. They think the kids are Evil...because they themselves are Evil Personified!
Especially those kids who are so sweet
they're mentally sick. they treated those children like sub-humans, and then when the kids fought back in the slightest way for their own basic survival, they took it as an affront to their spiritual authority..... nasty cycle. for an educated "psychologist," jodi really didn't know what was going on because she was clearly mentally ill, herself
To me it’s not concerning it’s horrifying
The most disturbing thing to me here is that that doesn't seem like a home where children happen to be abused, It seems like a torture chamber that was set up for nothing *but* the abuse of children. Every room was dedicated to it. Sick and demonic.
Exactly.
U clocked it! I said the samething the house its self looks eery look at the DOOR outta a horror movie

In my opinion Ruby’s sentence should be longer because a mother should protect her children no matter what.
100%!
I think Ruby and Jodi were lovers! Ruby had lived with Jodi for 2 years with the youngest 2 children! They both deserve life in prison for torturing those children!! 😡😡
Wasn’t she abusing her kids before Jodi? This was not new for Ruby.
Sure, but she’s blonde so she gets 1/2 off.
I hope that's true..because she's trying to claim naivety...and she's lying.
If I was an attorney I could NEVER defend people like this
Ruby is terrifyingly cold. She thinks it helped her to stay silent, but it only highlighted her sociopathic behavior.
Exactly
While this is a HORRIBLE situation and they deserve the max sentence, interrogations are not solely for one’s entertainment or to satisfy whatever feelings you have. We still have rights and protocols. It’s a slippery slope when we discount those things based on emotion.
@@Januaryjenkinsasking about the wellbeing of your children is a natural maternal/paternal instinct and has absolutely nothing to do with the law or her personal situation. She only cares about herself and that is painfully evident.

If he wasn't there taking food away and starving them, he was at least endorsing it by not doing anything
He was in the videos of the abuse even before Jodi came into the picture, everyone knows it I seriously doubt that Kevin will be granted custody of the children.
Hildebrandt convinced Franke to separate from him, all which Franke detailed in her diary, that's why he wasn't charged. He's been absent for 7mo at least, and Franke was withholding the children, he also asked for the maximum punishment!!! ( No I didn't watch the full trial, but from what I gathered, could be wrong 🤷)
What about the two older kids that were already out of the house? Didn't sound like he was involved with those two at all. And he didn't know they were out of the house. It doesn't appear the older two were in any hurry to contact him.
FYI...... Police do not need a search warrant, when the situation presents itself to the immediate welfare of a child or children.
I get so upset when watching Ruby say absolutely nothing. When an adult refers to the “evil” living in children, you know you’re talking to a nut job.

Yes! They came to my mind too. And how many more are there we don't know about 😭
The fact that she’s not saying a word is absolutely disgusting. And also, her husband knew about this. He was just as much of a creep as she was.
Yep she rang him to tell him to get to kids and he gave her and Jody two lawyers numbers ! He knew exactly what was happening! Dunno how he is getting away with it !

@@deemurphy2387how do you know he knows ???
@@deemurphy2387 The mormon church, that's how
Yeah I’m starting to think it was a certain kind of po*ngraphy he was addicted to he gives the vibes
Ruby was publicly abusing her children on this website for years before this happened. It's wild that she's blaming everything on Jodi.
Right. Both guilty, but have you seen Ruby’s journal? That was all Ruby documenting her torture to relive it later. Doesn’t get more sadistic or twisted than that.
Exactly! I remember watching her videos for a week or so after I found her channel years ago and that was enough! The abuse and horrible treatment of the children was too much, I couldn’t continue watching her!
Ruby AND HER HUSBAND
Jodi’s niece Jesse Hildebrandt has at least one very long interview on Mormon Stories podcast. Powerful! 😨
And the followers are also blaming everything on Jodi as the influence in all of this as Franke was so weak and manipulated when these two demons simply found each other. Not only that, other adults around these kids simply could've cared less and used the children for labor. This is all disgusting and speaks volume about the community as a whole. If it wasn't for this poor baby able to escape, they would've been there still or even maybe dead
Seeing Jodie getting dragged out of her house never gets old.
And fight song blasting inthe cop car
I know, right. “Do you have a search warrant?” Naw, it’s properly known as an arrest warrant.
@@7heRedBaron From what I'm aware of the situation was so dire and the kid's condition so bad it actually met conditions that a warrant was deemed unnecessary to raid the house due to immediate danger situation. For things like this in some states I believe a warrant isn't even necessary.
@@FinnFann I’m confident we are thinking the same thing. In this situation the cops had all the cards. With the information that the sister was inside and in danger, they would have easily been justified going in guns hot. But their judgment to stay calm, approach the house business like and take Jodi by force when she opened the door appears flawless. Being in daylight, they may actually have phoned a judge and gotten an arrest warrant. With a case like this, they wouldn’t want to make any mistakes of law or procedure that would throw the case out. We can’t actually see them taking preparatory steps before the apprehension. But it makes all the sense in the world that someone was on the phone with legal authority to resolve this well.
damn monster!
That man who the little boy came up to was the sweetest guy you could ever meet. I wish him all the best in life
Right 😢
Yes. A true male empath
My heart broke into a million pieces when I heard this kind neighbor talking to 911. Just broke my heart.
Tears.
The way the neighbor man choked up made me tear 🥺
Evil mother
Never should these women ever be around childten. Ruby franke was a willing participant. She appeared to use these children as a target to vent hate and abuse upon.
"Can't even raise your kids anymore." Deranged.
She doesn't even know what raising kids is.
And Delulu 💯
The father doesn’t deserve to have the children either. He’s in many videos supporting Ruby, and agreeing with her abusive actions. Just because he left Ruby before the worst forms of abuse took place, doesn’t make him innocent.
Right, but he was probably enduring years of her narcissistic abuse as well. It’s complicated….
Being their father and an adult he was responsible for those children and their care. Regardless of abuse he might have suffered himself that doesn’t excuse him for committing abuse too.
@@radkahunter2908 He called Hildebrandt a wonderful woman until his second police interview where he started talking about possession and exorcism. Throw him away too
@@radkahunter2908 But it’s not complicated. When he realized his wife was freaking crazy, he left. Not even bothering to fight to have his children come with him. He completely ditched his kids.
The dad is just as guilty. Now he’s fighting for custody? That is bs. And the mom’s sisters are guilty of this as well! They all knew!
Ruby's parents defended her, such a disgrace.
🤮
Yeah I heard about that…any source on it?
Do you have the platform where they defended her?
@jenniferjennifer9973 there was a letter they wrote to the judge presiding over her case / the court and it was shown during coverage of that last court appearance.
They're possibly just as bad, and have certainly created a bunch of people they shouldn't be proud of.
