I really don't know who I would send a link to a candy making video out of nowhere.
My grandfather was a candy maker out of his garage in the 50s... Good to see a glimpse on how he did it
Clever idea doing that so that the customers can watch. I'd go just to watch them do that and then probably buy some. Its fascinating.
That cutting was unbelievable I was wondering how they was going to cut the candy .
My hat off to the candy makers what a excellent job.
Fall in love with their presentation. Love the happy feeling of working. I enjoy every minute of this video. Wish to visit and watch them perform the candy works all day long. I don't eat sweet but definitely will buy a lot.
Wish to eat all the candys in this factory. 🤤

One of the key difference I saw between this and other hard candy videos is how clean the cooling table is in this one. They really look after their equipment.
I was absolutely mesmerized, I so enjoy watching fine folks making handmade candy, I was living in Seattle, WA., and I used to go and watch the talented folks at the Seattle Space needle make their famous “Salt water Taffy” I love their candy and after watching them work I had a much deeper appreciation for their candies 🥰 so, when I buy candies I look on the labels if they were handmade and if so, I buy a lot and give some to family and friends 🥰thank you for sharing 🙏🏽
ow you gonna love this video ,from La King's Confectionery on the Historic Strand in Galveston, Texas. that dude makes it like a drill instructor ahha ua-cam.com/video/olnLaOA27L0/v-deo.html
Me too, I lived near Seattle and loved watching them stretch the candy. I've not been there in years, do you know if they still do that?
ok
Cool that’s neat thanks for sharing
after the Friends episode I watched a documentary about that! and I asked friends to send me saltwater taffy. Was super delicious

Wow, amazing artists able to work with that candy. After being in big lumps it comes out so beautiful and yummy.
Workmanship like this is truly a very rare and very much appreciated to see such beautiful craftsmanship. Thank you
I am so fascinated by this process of making sweets. I actually download them and watch them at night to relax me. 😱🇿🇦👍
I have a feeling this candy can stretch from Japan to my house in Ghana.
Beautiful 😍
Incredible strength in these young peoples arms and hands!!!!!!!!
That’s exactly what I was thinking!
wow
Big like 💪🏻👌🏻
I watch lofty pursuits and it baffles me how little no machinery they use of except the hook of course which is needed 😱 much respect to that hard work for doing it all by hand 😱💜
Beautiful job! Thank you for showing us your talent
It is always great to see all the work that goes on to provide the day to day things that people enjoy and don't even think about.
That's amazing, such skill. Thank you for sharing.
So much skill, hard work and dedication...you rarely find those in other places
This was beautiful to watch. I love it!
Pulling to put air in the candy is hard work! I like to make southern cream candy which requires a fair amount of pulling but not nearly this much! Beautiful work!
Where are the words to describe the patience and physical strength needed to produce these? 🍬 🍭🍬 Bravo! Beautiful work ❤
physical strength lmao
@@StoicTrader- the part where you need to strech to get white.

I like how they don’t waste a lot of the candy❤ Good job you’re doing great keep up the good work up🎉
This is awesome and looks really yummy 😋 ♥♥
When he was pouring the molten candy I thought “that looks pretty dangerous”. Then the cam zoomed in on his arms riddled with burn marks and I was like “oh”
I can almost smell the sweet and feel the warm sugar! I can block out the feeling of exhausted hands and arrms! Thank you for this soothing video.
Fascinating! Skill, personality and showmanship all in one.
I enjoy watching the handmade candies especially these with the designs, but my recently operated aching fingers are worried for these talented candy makers 🍭
Que bello, y se ve delicioso!
A physically exhausting and tedious practice.
Great job to the Chefs here, skills are on a level.
Japanese people have always had a spirit of respect for "craftsmanship. Amezaiku is another example of craftsmanship. I don't eat sugar-based candies because of my high blood sugar level, but enjoy just looking at it.
THAT is not art, - it`s perversion. and Japanese people are the best perverts. :)
Brother, you have my deepest sympathy! Looking is no substitute for eating!
Incredible talent! 😮 I love watching this.❤

Japanese artistry is truly amazing.

But this shop only seems to make one type of hard candy. Don't think I would want to eat those.

There's an Australian family in Australia that all work in a family-owned candy shop and they do this exact same thing and they make what they call lollies. And they film themselves quite often I love watching different people from different places make this kinda stuff
how beautiful! That was very creative & interesting!
I’ve always been keen to see how hard candy is made. I must be weird to like the bubbling sound of colour added to the sugar.
You should check out Lofty Pursuits channel too they've done some weird flavours including a thanksgiving one lol
So clean

harika şekerler ve emeğinize sağlık..
Awesome !!I really enjoy this video.
This is like a form of art 👌☘️
I love watching different cultures around the world making their own stuff.. in the US we don’t hardly ever see things like this being made anymore.. so many factories have taken over our food industries and cutting out the mom and pop stores that once did this.. there’s so many more health problems in her US from the processed foods we eat, not to mention more obesity here than other parts of the world.. I would love to travel and see these kind of places and try the foods prepared by different cultures
Thanks for watching the video and for your comments! !
The shop that makes this candy has imported technology from Barcelona to Japan and has gained a great reputation in Japan.
The candies made one by one by craftsmen are fun to look at and delicious to eat!
When you come to Japan, please stop by the shop and see them making candies! And please buy 😄
These ain't really Japanese arts these are more European arts they still do this in Europe making hand made candy like this
@@steveboy7302This sweet is called a stick of rock.
It comes from England where you can find it at every seaside town that has their own specific rock made for them.
There’s a shop in Dexter, Kansas (which is just south of the middle of nowhere) that makes by hand and sells this kind of candy, along with many other types that are just as involved and labor intensive as this. It’s worth a visit!
I absolutely love to watch candy being made by hand . Its the ultimate ASMR ever these people are masters at what they do .👏👏👍👍
