My dad is a stained glass artist. He’s 92 next month and still creates the most beautiful pieces for family and friends. He’s even made pieces for royalty. We are very proud of him as I know these skilled men’s families must be. 😊❤
As someone who went through "lab glass blowing" primer (decades ago, back in my sec school) I can say the amount of hand ad TIME coordination this guy shows is INCREDIBLE. The problem with sodium-calcium glass (the most common kind) is that the "plasticity window" is quite small - tad too cold and it will be too stiff to be "workable", tad too hot and it will become so "runny" that it won't be workable either. Here he has to execute all stages of creating the figurine (forming the head, legs and all) while this blob is sagging on him all the time, AND do it before it gets too cold - chapeau bas!
I don't know how to draw a horse on a paper and this guy creates this piece of art with hot glass. Amazing artists! We must recognize their talent and value

I was a hot glass worker and I moved on to stained glass work. I loved working with both but I found the amount of work and detail I put into stained glass wasn't worthwhile financially. I still do some panels, shades etc. for around our home.
Seeing this at 65 years old this takes me back to when I was probably 10 years old and just mesmerized by the artistry of the folks making glass figurines at Disneyland in Anaheim California.

Watching that guy just pick and pull a horse out of a glob of molten glass was amazing. I live about an hour or two from a place called the Corning Museam of Glass, connected to Corning Glass Works where Pyrex was developed. They're world class glass artisans. I remember visiting when I was a kid and I instantly fell in love with glasswork and even some 30 years later it still blows my mind seeing what people can do with glass. It's a true and pure artform that automation would only detract from. The human element of glasseork is a massive part of what makes it so incredible and the work in this video is a perfect example of that.
Glass is a fascinating material. In the biolab we made our own glass tools (for example pipettes). Too cold and it can no longer be moulded from one moment to the next. Too hot and it simply flows away like honey. Through my own work with glass, my respect for professionals like those in this video has only grown.

The skills of these artists is incredible, especially the one who made the horse at last... There are lot of small details and the artist Completed it beautifully
If there is such a thing as reincarnation PLEASE let me come back as one of these masters of glass! Bravo 👏🏻 I can never make it through one of these videos without saying “oh my goodness”. ❤
When I was in Florence I saw that horse "trick". Heck, it may have been the same guy for all I know! I just remember us standing there, having no idea what to expect, then he walks in and takes this orange ball and a pair of tweezers. He reached into the orange ball with the tweezers and pulled out a horse. That was... damn. 40 years ago. It's still one of my favorite stories! And the tourists, after seeing that, bought everything they could lay hands on. So... it worked out for all of us! LOL
Haha, I lived exactly the same experience, but in Venice, 10 years ago. No one could imagine that a horse will emerge from that red firing blob, haha... I still have 2 glass gondolas bought in that place.
Glass work is always so amazing to watch. It’s such an intricate and delicate skill, and you need a quick and light hand so it isn’t damaged or ruined. I remember going to a glass blowing company and watching as they worked the furnaces and shaped the pieces. Serious skill there.
Yep...glassworking/blowing is totally fascinating, really fun, aand one of the most difficult crafts to learn It's also extremely fulfilling once you get it down & begin creating artwork that's truly your own
This was mesmerizing. It’s so easy to things for granted so thank you for the reminder of the skill and craftsmanship that goes in to making these beautiful works of art.
These are true master of their crafts!! Do not let them fool you; they make it look easy and flowing, but behind this level accuracy is YEARS of practice! I am so impressed! 😊😊😊 (I am artisan myself and worked professionally in a few trades.)
I love their art they make, and sure its mostly about glass and other parts..but that's what makes having this job so cool. You can make connections, new ideas.. And a whole lot of new details❤
I remember becoming fascinated with glass sculpture by watching the man who used to show up at the yearly fair we attended when I was a child. He took hot blobs of glass and made the most fantastic creations! He always had a selection of sculptures to choose from available, but then he would make small custom pieces. I don't know what happened but he stopped coming. Now that I'm older I think it's possible that he had passed, which was a shame because he brought such joy and wonder to the world with his artwork!!
Please keep making these videos. Stumbled upon them today and it’s so nice to have in the background while playing with my kids. My kids love trying to figure what each new thing will be.
*I'm overjoyed and grateful to see God's blessings and abundance manifest in my family's life. We're thriving and happy once again, and I can now provide for my loved ones even in retirement, thanks to a remarkable weekly income of $67,000. It's a game-changer after* *facing many challenges*.
Only God knows how much grateful i am. After so much struggles I now own a new house and my family is happy once again everything is finally falling into place!!
Thanks!

Yes I just want to eat it. It looks like delicious candy!

This was the most peaceful, edge of the end my seat, soothing, anxiety filled, amazing thing I've seen all year.❤
When I was in Florence I saw that horse "trick".
All I see are pizzaiolos everywhere! Master craftmenship. Italians are unbelievable.
A Thing of Beauty is a Joy Forever.
Skillful hands & synchronised teamwork made it flow seamlessly ! Please don’t let this Art die out …
Glass work is always so amazing to watch. It’s such an intricate and delicate skill, and you need a quick and light hand so it isn’t damaged or ruined. I remember going to a glass blowing company and watching as they worked the furnaces and shaped the pieces. Serious skill there.
The luxuries of the world exist because of the sweat, hard work and talent of men like these men here
Never take that for granted
These crafts are prompting of how everything in this world came out of the loving heart, creative mind and gentle hands Our Heavenly God.
This was the most comforting video I have ever seen!!! Beautiful music with incredible craftsmanship!!!!
The crafting of the horse just blew my mind...it was almost magical how the form came out soninstantaneously as the glass solidified...
Wow. Amazing. Rare art and skill. Purely handmade. Eye soothing. Great piece of art. ❤

Yep...glassworking/blowing is totally fascinating, really fun, aand one of the most difficult crafts to learn
It's also extremely fulfilling once you get it down & begin creating artwork that's truly your own

As fragile as Venetian glass, yes; what is that marvelous expression? “See Venice, and die.” 😵💫
I'm not going to see anything more amazing than this today. I'll be paying more attention to glass figures now.
Bet Ai can’t top that! True artisans sharing their passion. Hope!
I love their art they make, and sure its mostly about glass and other parts..but that's what makes having this job so cool. You can make connections, new ideas.. And a whole lot of new details❤
1 Like 😢 for cameraman ✅️
I remember becoming fascinated with glass sculpture by watching the man who used to show up at the yearly fair we attended when I was a child. He took hot blobs of glass and made the most fantastic creations! He always had a selection of sculptures to choose from available, but then he would make small custom pieces. I don't know what happened but he stopped coming. Now that I'm older I think it's possible that he had passed, which was a shame because he brought such joy and wonder to the world with his artwork!!
I wish it was as easy as it looks!
Simply mesmerizing to watch ! True artesian and craftsmanship. Only hope it does not become a lost art.

Did you see it light up when he smoothed it out!? That's art and physics all at once 👍

Wow that's huge, how do you make that much monthly?
I'm 35 and have been looking for ways to be successful, please how??
Thanks to my co-worker (Scott) who suggested Mrs Maria Angelina🙏.
