I really like this format. I don't mind some conversation but you can really focus on the process here. Thank you. I know it must be hard to remember not talk. 😂
I personally think Hercules does in fact switch it up pretty often as to what they create on their channel, bringing humor, information, a sense of community, family and friendship that all viewers feel good about. From viewing the entire process from corn syrup to the little bow on the box with bits of info and laughs inbetween. Every episode they do something different. Other candy channels truly are repetitive, and it can get old, though I still love their channels and watch their shorts too. Though Hercules is my favorite candy & choco making channel! ALways looking forward to their new videos - with or without talking, it's all great. Love watching ALL that you create, especially brittles and barks, cremes and candies! Thank you! ❤
I'm 72 and still remember being four years old hiding behind the Christmas tree, that was in the corner or the room, all scrrunched down eating a candy cane I had snuck off the tree. Best darn candy cane I have ever had! No idea why I felt the need to hide. 🤣I still put candy canes on the Christmas tree. Seeing yours makes me want one. Maybe I will sneak one and hide behide your Christmas tree to eat it. My days of scrunching down to hide however are long past.
Steve inhaling the peppermint fumes reminds me of the time I had a head cold when I was young, and spending some time at my grandparents' place - I was totally blocked up and I took their horseradish sauce out of the fridge and gave it a BIG whiff - it felt like heaven for about 2 seconds before my sinuses closed back up!
The smell of peppermint always reminds me of Christmas 🎄 And as someone who has suffered from nasal issues her whole life, I appreciate the clearing of my sinuses as much as Steve does lol
Best looking candy canes I have ever seen.....great job guys....I love the ASMR ....thank you sooooomuch for this. I don't care what you film as long as there is no talking Im here for it.
I got a good chuckle watching y'all work in this one. I can't imagine how strong that peppermint must be. The colors on the candy canes are so beautiful and vibrant absolutely blown away
Hi Mr. From 114 years your's grandfather and father and you it's arrived your's candy sweet special and super. It's very beautiful to seeing this working . Good luck and best wishes . From my country Lebanon best regards .👏👏👏👏
I worked in Syracuse, NY for 3.5 years and drove past Hercules candy on the way to Walmart. Wish i had gone in back then. Will have to make a point to stop by next time im in town.
QUESTION: I have enjoyed your videos. Fascinating to watch the timing and rhythm of it all. One question, why do you hand form the corn syrup balls rather than just pour a specific weight of it into the cooking bowl like sugar? It all gets mixed together, so I am unclear the reason for that initial step. Thanks.
12:50 Does Steve ever alternate arms when pulling or does he have one giant bicep? 😂 I’ve been watching your channel almost since the beginning and I’m so happy to see the business thriving. 😀
Many years ago, I was curios to see how candy canes was made, I had discover your channel, you were still in the basement at that time ;) ;) since, I am always watching when you make candy canes ;) ;) Thank you from Vincent / Québec / Canada
That was super interesting! All the way from balls of corn syrup to stocking the bins in the store. The stick on the scissors is genius! How many canes do you make for Christmas? 🎄❤️🎄
Couple random questions, are those special scissors for candy making or just regular scissors also is there a coating of something on the table to keep things from sticking?
I feel like you need to have some sort of raised stand or an odd height stool so the staff don't have to bend over so much to get the corn syrup out of the bucket
They make a “measuring stick” just like that for chainsaws (so all your firewood is the same size). You should call the company and tell them they have a whole new market!
I have seen Candy Canes, in stores. That have a thin green stripes, along with the 2 red stripes. Are those a different mint flavor? I haven’t seen those in stores for 2 years now. As a kid I always wanted my parents to buy those, every year.
I love Hercules candy but that thumbnail is grating. Please don’t do photoshop like that! It discredits your hard work by clickbaiting with impossible things.
@@chappy675I’m a longtime fan of Hercules. Their real work is amazing, and by editing it on a thumbnail it looks cheap. As a commenter, I have a right to suggest changes. We all do.
Maybe it’s my age of 68 but I find this totally nauseating to watch, but I guess it’s better than our processed foods that are full of chemicals and stuff that makes us sick as I watch a lot of things from Europe and they don’t buy too much premade box stuff or can stuff and that’s why they stay slimmer because there’s not preservatives in chemicals in it.
Do you really want us to believe that the hot caramel is perfectly striped when you are pouring it out of the copper kettle? Obviously people want to believe any nonsense. Which in turn would explain a lot.
When the pieces were cut my first thought was "what a smart move - and it's efficient. We need more smart workers in this world" Julia is a bit like me - when there's an easy way, why ignoring it?
Wishing you would video more than hard candies. All I see is ribbon candy, drops and candy canes. Not enough of the other treats you so creatively make. I end up not watching because the process is the same.
I tried posting bark videos, packaging videos etc. and they all flopped, which tells me people don't want to see them. Is there a candy in particular you would like to see?
@@HerculesCandyASMR Thank you for your response. I'm surprised the bark videos flopped. That said, I would like to see anything other than hard candy. Because she is not smiling? When you are at work or at home do you smile every second of the day? To me she has a relaxed, pleasant expression on her face.
In what reality would pouring any liquid have perfect straight lines as it flows? They're still making candy and are not going off on a tangent not related to thumbnail.
@@djharris90 that's...the point. the thumbnail is clickbait. people generally don't like being misled and it leads to people writing off your channel as low-quality before they even get a chance to know your work. having watched a few videos from this channel, I know that they make actual interesting content that people would like, so why do they have to fabricate thumbnails?

Good grief ! That was AWESOME!!!
Merry Christmas everyone 🤗🌲🎈🎉
You can tell Cara has been doing this for a long time, so calm and quietly good.
Since she was about 10 years old!
Cara only started a couple of years ago. 😊
I *love* this ASMR channel! This is exactly how I love to watch candy being made!!!
I'm glad you like it!
This must be the quietest candy production crew I’ve ever witnessed on Hercules. I’m getting sleepy just watching the pulling and cutting and twisting
Ohhh man!!! I would love to learn how to make hard candy. The pull from the hook is so satisfying.
The smell of peppermint always reminds me of Christmas 🎄

Julia is freaking fantastic at making candy. She owns her craft. Way to go girl!!! ❤ Love from Kelowna BC Canada 🇨🇦 💕
You all seem to work faster when not talking. I love both the talkies and non talk.
Thanks! Yeah, or when we're talking but the camera isn't rolling haha
I was wondering why the stick was on the scissors. Great idea Julia that's better than drilling holes in the tables. LoL!!!
Me too M but it really was a good idea.
Love how Julia works smarter not harder 😁

Beautifully precisely made candy canes!!
The canes are gorgeous

Drooling, all the a from Southern Ontario!
You're not that far away from us in Syracuse, NY, you should stop in and say hi!
I love to watch the silky satin sheen develop on the pulled candy.
the single solid red candy cane is mocking me!

The stick-scissor tool is a pretty smart idea.

It's much too thick to pour, it has to be picked up instead of poured
Aww Steve lifting the heavy kettle. I love good people!! ❤❤❤😊
I received all my candy. I can’t wait to watch this video my grandchildren then show them an actual candy cane from you.

Thanks so much! We usually get about 250 canes per batch, and are planning on doing I think 15 batches? So roughly 3,750 candy canes
@HerculesCandyASMR Wow! 😯
First time watching the ASMR channel and I just feel like everyone is playing the silent game. 😂
You must be coming from the main channel 😂
I am a machinist by trade and I am amazed at the skill level and artistry demonstrated by these candy makers. Bravo👏👏👏
Beautiful art in a candy cane. I like spearmint too and do they come with green stripes?❤
I've missed your videos. I stopped watching because I kept ordering candy!!!! You make the best!
Julia has such confidence now. It’s great to see how she has grown in autonomy.
You’re sweet❤
Suddenly I want cherry candy canes.
Couple random questions, are those special scissors for candy making or just regular scissors also is there a coating of something on the table to keep things from sticking?
Your candy canes are so beautifully made I was just wondering do you guys give out free samples to try
i love the oddball red candy cane. :)
This is when smello-vision would be awesome.
Would you ever make the thinner smaller ones?
I feel like you need to have some sort of raised stand or an odd height stool so the staff don't have to bend over so much to get the corn syrup out of the bucket
Superstar confectioners! ✌️🌹🌷🥂💐

Im 5:36 into this video and no one has spoken! Im unnerved 😂😂
These are the hardest videos to shoot for that reason 😂
How were these made before corn syrup?

I use a digital stitch counter for the same thing when I knit a lot of squares for a project lol
Are the scissors designed for candy cutting?
i used to eat hard candy but now it's all soft for my teeth sake
I would love you to add more videos to this ASMR page, as it’s kinda bare.
youtube.com/@HerculesCandy/videos
can we make anything without putting corn syrup in it?
I have a devastating allergy to corn and I wish that alternative syrups existed. Maybe cane syrup or something.
The fire, the wheel, the scissors stick
We have the elusive candy whisperer appearance in this video….😊
Is it possible to move the weighing scale closer to the burner so they don't have to walk a long way with a heavy load
There's no space over there, but if they want to they can move the kettle with the barrel on wheels
Why do you hammer the post where the candy is being pulled?
The candy sometimes sticks to the hook, the hammer loosens the candy from the hook.
You gotta love Julia! So talented!
Looks so serious in this video
Making candy canes is serious business.
Is that table cold
Can't you just pour the corn syrup directly into the kettle? What's the advantage of scooping it up with your hands?
It's much too thick to do that
Lots of talent Well done Julia kisses from France 🇨🇵
What happens to the pieces you cut off?
I like you talking dont like the silent treatment lol
You must be coming from the main channel 😂
@HerculesCandyASMR we were laying in bed I thought i was going def lol fiance this won't help me fall asleep lol
❤❤❤

I totally agree with you. It's just unnecessary edit, and also misleading.

Cry me a river. If something that petty bothers you then you need to examine yourself. 😢😢😢
0:14 okay, but you can also use a different method. Like a large spoon?!?
I do wish you offered more sugar free options. As i am a recently diagnosed Diabetic.😒
How do you know how much water is needed
Practice and knowledge past down. I was wondering more about the corn syrup in the beginning than the water.
They're both being measured. The kettle is on a really large scale, and the water is always added from the same bowl
I thought this was a repost also because i have seen this before also
How come nobody makes chocolate covered jellys any more !!!!!
why not put the stick at the end of the scissors?
0:10 why don't you just avoid the problem by picking up the bucket and pouring it in?
Great video
Shame about the thumbnail though
Steve you don't stay in retirement to long in the Holidays?
Do you still have a channel where there is talking? I miss all the Dad jokes and the puns and interactions.
🥹 It's ...... r-e-a-l ........
This is what it’s like working with people that can’t stand each other! The silence is deafening 😢
Trust me, these videos are really hard to shoot because usually we can't get everyone to stop talking 😂
Julia should change her name to Libby...

Stop cooking with watches and rings and other jewelry on gross and germs
Spooky. Watching with no family banter
