I thank you so much. Did the no contact. Worked on myself. After a few months of no contact she reached out and we talked a couple times. Then realized I’m better off without her. I rather keep working on myself. Made it a lot easier to get over her.

Good for you brother! My ex also has a lot of selfish tendencies. Early in the relationship, she told me "fight for the relationship", but when she has to fight, she just left.
The same happened to me. I rejected my ex's attempts to get back together. I understood that he is selfish, emotionally immature and manipulative. 🤷♀️

I've been watching your videos for the past two months. I went through a break up. He reached out after 2 months, however his behavior hasn't changed. I had a courage to step back again after intensly intimate interaction. I still have feelings, however I took my power back and refused to participate in the relationship without trust and commitment. It's hard and empowering. It's not about to have someone back, it's about be with someone in true fulfilling relationship.

2yrs for me and im actually feeling good without him in the beginning I was all over the place my heart was still with him but now that has fade im grateful I waited worked on healing and embrace being in tune with me I actually think less about him now time and healing was nessasary im looking forward to what God has for me
I did no contact after my ex broke up with me. Never heard from her again. Took about 3 years to finally get over her. So much pain but I learned a lot about myself. This November will be 4 years since she left my life.

Margaret passed????? 💔 I’m in tears, she was wonderful. I’ve watched so many videos that I can feel the loss of her too. RIP. Sorry to hear Craig.
Recently broke 30 month NC and reached out to my ex, curious if she still had me blocked. She shared some pictures of her with me and said she'd like to go out for drinks next weekend. I was heartbroken for several months after the breakup and did all the wrong things, driving by her house to see who is over at her house at night, calling/texting her constantly, sending flowers to her house for holidays, etc. for an entire month. I got over her the relationship after several months. Anything is possible
You clearly didn't work on yourself if you reach out to your ex if it was her decision to break up. Time is not an argument.
@@BiefBinkDVSI would have to agree with you. Did she share the pictures right after the breakup or right before he reached out? The sad part Is If she does go out with him for drinks and she sees the same person she dumped then she will lose all attraction once again.

I am learning though, even if you messed up with no contact or whatever happened (as long as it's not stalkerish or angry), it is up to the other person as well. They need to see their issues and if both of you value each other, you can communicate and figure out what the issues are/were. Part of that throw away culture is hard because the grass is always greener. Yeah, not if you dont water it. Hope people find happiness wherever they land!
Just got dumped again, he self-sabotaged due to a fear of intimacy and lack of healing from his last relationship. He needs to heal himself but I'm frustrated that he ruined our relationship as a result of not being ready to invest. Maybe hope for the future? We had good communication even with the difficult stuff and were compatible. He asked me not to block him but specified its not for romantic reasons 🤷🏽♀️ - V proud of my self growth though I'm now asking - ' I'm amazing, why would anyone not want to be with me'.

Just bumped into my ex, I waved and she didn't wave back. She was outside the swimming pool. After I had been for my weekly swim. She left me 2 years ago, saying she had depression. It broke my heart her not responding to me. And the fact I never had any face to face conversation. She dumped me over text. 7 years down the drain
Can you do a video on no contact’s opposite effects on the dumper and person who was dumped? Removing all traces of them from my life will help me move on, why wouldn’t it do the same for them?

I am on the same boat …7 months. I broke NC by writing to her on what would have been our third anniversary from another number and there was no response plus she blocked that number too, so whatever you do don’t reach out. The encouragement I would give you is to hold on tight, live through the pain, accept it although it’s tough and at a certain point you start getting better. For me it happened at the 6 month mark. But like Craig says we have to work on ourselves

15 months after an engagement, I've not heard a word.
Can you do one on how to be there for your partner, depending on their attachment style, when a person they love passes away? My avoidant partner's dad has cancer, and It would help me to know how I can be there for him the best way possible if he doesn't make it.

Craig: would you consider advice for widows or widowers? Especially for folks after age 60?
It's interesting to see by reading the comments section of this channel that many more people "accidentally" get over the breakup or say they don't want to get back together RIGHT AFTER they contact them than say they got over it BEFORE. They also tend to "accidentally" realize just after their exes contact them how little they really do for them. This makes me even more suspicious that what a lot of people really needed is the ego boost that comes from their exes finally reaching out. They don't seem very healthy to me and they don't seem to have grown or changed themselves either...
My husband has a huge chunk of my soul and I probably won't ever get it back. 😢

Thats how much i loved her. Every part of my body was screaming to get her back. But i was no. She wants this. Its the same as when she said she wanted a cold brew. Ill give it to her even sometimes it wasnt a good pick 🤢😄.

Love these videos. But I watch them and keep getting hope. Doesn’t help me realise I might never hear from them. Been blocked everywhere. Even though in my hearts of hearts they were a great partner and we were perfect for each other, they just gave up too easy on our love. I wasn’t paying attention as I should’ve. It took for them to leave for me to realise what I truly lost, and that hurts.

I'm obviously not Coach Craig but just go no contact. No calls, messages or anything at all. Don't reach out to him for birthdays or any type of Holidays. Just remember this... HE broke up with you and If he wants to repair the relationship then It's HIM that should reach out to you. Every time you reach out to him It just relieves his anxiety and then he knows you still want him and he can do whatever he wants because he knows you're still there waiting on him. Once you STOP ALL CONTACT he will eventually start to wonder why you aren't reaching out to him anymore. He may even think you've moved on or found someone else and then HE will start getting nervous and reach out to you. If he still wants and loves you that Is. Do the work, don't reach out to him anymore. If he comes back great. If not you still win.
what am i supposed to do when my bf now my ex who cheated on me and i still wanted to continue gave him a chance i bragged abt his mistakes and he left why am i feeling most of the pain it doesnt even feel like he cared abt my feelings or me being hurt for wat he did but all he said was he did it bc i never showed enough and if i dint find out would he even tell me 4 years meant nothing? he just blocked me even i should have done that for wat he did .. im never heard i just keep hurting everyday ive lost myself within the past 2months i dont seem to be fine at all its almost like it makes me physically sick , im tired does he feel nothing of this ...
I feel your pain. I know it sounds cliche you have to focus on yourself. Do the work by watching these videos and figuring out your attachment style. It really is soothing. You learn so much about yourself and that is the great part. Your ex may or may not come back the point is making yourself strong.

I know my ex will come back it’s only a matter of time. He went back to is ex right after he ended things with me. They have a very toxic relationship and she will hurt him again. But this time I won’t be there to pickup the pieces. I’m going to therapy and working on my degree.
Why would you want leftovers and what if he gets std while he is not with you. Never go back to an ex. Move on.
@@californianative6387 Don’t judge something when you don’t know the whole story. We had been on and off for 10 years and he is the father of my children. And like I said I won’t be waiting this time.
Yesterday he text me after a week of no contact. He said "Hey how are you?" I waited an hour and replied "Hey. I'm doing good how are you?" He hasn't replied yet. I'm going to leave it alone and not say anything further but why would he not reply?

Margaret passed away last fall (2022). Craig did a video early last October on her passing.
