Attaching the doorbell to the mount is a little difficult but once it locks into place it seems extremely sturdy. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxxHZwMa8CsRjYhf9s4W8w0Dwm47uytWOp I replaced my regular doorbell with this and hard wired it in, using my existing wires and mechanical chime. It works perfect so far and integrates perfectly with my blink camera system. It also works seamlessly with Alexa

out to atleast 10 feet but usually much farther check your sensitivty in the menu and what zones are enabled hope this helps

When you have blink cloud the clips backup once a day to local storage but are only viewable by ejecting the usb storage device and opening them on your pc not available through the app unless you cancel the cloud subscription with no cloud subscription clips are stored on the sync module 2 usb storage but canceling cloud subscription you lose live video recording and hourly clips
Having issues with live view. It doesn't allow me to view live frames from the app or any alexa device. Am I missing something?

You need a sync module and usb witch is sold separately
How can i open live view threw phone or does it only work when someone rings on the bell or motion detection?
Live only works if wired or with a module 2 device

I don’t have sync mode and it only works on event response but it’s not good at catching motion. Ring is so much easier.
yea i have 4 blink devices and one ring camera i like the ring doorbell but not the fee. My blink cameras i don't pay a fee so i have more devices and still happy with them but prefer the ring doorbell compared the blink doorbell
Thanks for the video but I choose battery also over wired connection but is thier a way to make your phone ring when someone presses the bell?
It takes a second but I just set mine up & if your phone volume is up it will ring if someone rings the doorbell.
You need a indoor cam for the indoor chime
Does it not have a Blink Chime box? Some of the doorbell camera I’ve watched offers a chime box. My question is if I don’t hard wire it, will I hear a doorbell noise when someone press on the button or will I just get a notification on my phone?!

I put mine up with 3m heavy duty double sided tape in case I don't like it there's no holes when I take it down

Mine was set up and it’s now stopped ringing on the Alexa even though it’s set up
why is the chime on the doorbell so loud? my neighbors across the street can hear it, is there a way to turn the chime volume down? not the volume on phone, but the actual device that's by the door?
hmmm I don't think so maybe with an update they can add that to the app
If anyone can help. I bought the Blink doorbell. I set it up in the blink app. Then going to the alexa app, the doorbell is "recognised" as a security system and not camera device which means I don't have the announcements options in the device settings on the alexa app.

Mine doesn’t have the video live on my main screen. It only lets me watch live when someone walks up or rings the bell. I want to look at my camera whenever I want. I am using batteries and I also am on a free trial is that why?

I’m having the same problem. I can’t get a live View only when someone walks up close. I want a constant view of what’s going on. Am I missing something in the settings??
@@jm6ney794 So I finally figured out if you are using battery instead of hardwired it won’t let you have the option to watch live when you want. The only way is if you hardwire it. It’s extremely stupid in my opinion. If I want to use my battery watching it live then let me. So what if I use the batteries faster.
@@Chasecka FWIW my door bell isn't hardwired and I can view live footage. I'm just taking a shot in the dark but maybe it's a feature of the Plus Plan and I'm still in the trial window so I have access to it. Devices with no plan are not able to view live streaming. However if the hardwire worked for you it's a decent work around if you don't have a plan.

Yes we just got one and it can be setup though an Alexa skill

your phone will be alerted and it can be connected to your alexa devices
does live feed work? I cant figure out how to do it.
For users not using a subscription can only see there feed if doorbell is rung or activity is happening on front but can't be summond on command 🤔 hope that helps

Just got one and it is very slow to acquire an image on the app. The doorbell is about 6 feet away from one of the best routers money can buy too.

@@AllThingsCool tried that several times and also tried adding all things available in the aps permison section , also I did notice it as a wifi signal under wifi in android, have been trying to setup through wirless while connected to home wife that is connected to the echo show I want to use it on if I could ever install from phablet

@@Manzizgoodt23 it's a bridge that helps to give ur camera a better signal plus other things. if your camera doesn't have a good wifi signal this may cause a problem with the live view

Ok, so I’m not going crazy. Only SOME people who have a blink doorbell, have the option to turn off the LED light when it’s recording on the doorbell!!! So far I’ve had 2 doorbells allow me, & 2 doorbells don’t allow me to turn it off whatsoever!!! It allows everyone to know when my camera is no longer recording, which signals them to pretty much run wild and free for 10 seconds and KNOW my camera isn’t recording!!! I don’t like it! i want my LED status OFF at all times so they’re not aware of how long my camera is really recording for!!
Been looking for a forum to help me, and everyone else’s videos just keep showing the LED status. This is the first video I’ve found finally, that someone does NOT have this option, just like me.
