I am 65 years old and I know about music from many different decades. Sir Tom Jones is a legend who sang live with no auto tune. Justin Timberlake and Usher will never have the talent or careers that still exist from the real artists from the 60's 70's and early 80's. Sorry but the music of today is made for money not memories. Beyonce and the other so-called divas don't have 1/4 the talent of the wonderful Motown artists and the others who performed in the earlier decades. I'm glad you got the chance to experience Sir Tom Jones. He can still sing this way today. Will today's artists be able to sing live when they are 80?
67 here, and I can say Tom Jones can sing. Heck, he can still sing at 83? Just him and a microphone and a band. No autotune. I have always enjoyed hearing him sing. My grandma and Mom really liked his singing too.
I truly believe in what you say. Tom Jones performs live on each video. No voice mix, no super recording. He dances and sings at the same time. Can anyone in our time right now? Do that? I say not! Tom Jones rocks! he is a huge talent, he is the real deal!❤️

@dondelbiondo1258 They didn't make voices like that before Tom Jones either. I've never heard any other singer with a voice like Tom Jones unrivalled in power and range. A tenor range with that rich, powerful baritone sound even in his upper register.
In his 80's, the man can still saang! And when Sir Tom sings, you believe him. So glad you discovered, and enjoy, this - definitely check out more , you won't be disappointed.
Tom and Elvis were friends - and there is a great duel between them singing this song! And there are also some interviews with Tom, where he talks about Elvis.
MORE TJ! Can't get enough!!! Would love for you to react to several of his live performances... like his outstanding power ballad "I Who Have Nothing" that he did on his TV show, This Is Tom Jones; his collab with Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young on their song "Long Time Gone"; his duet and dancing with Janis Joplin in "Raise Your Hand"; his medley with Little Richard; his performance of Paul Anka's "Papa"; and his duet with John Farnham, rocking a cover of AC/DC's "It's A Long Way To The Top [If You Want To Rock And Roll]." Tom does all genres... classic rock to old standards, blues to jazz, reggae to rap, country to funk to pop to R&B to soul, and more. No matter the song or style, or his age through a six-decade career, those pipes, his incredible power, his superlative control, his absolute finesse, as well as his passion, presence, moves, and swag, have made him a legend. I can't think of another singer who has that same combination and is so authentically masculine that it captivates women so, and, at the very least, impresses all kinds of listeners with that voice. He is well respected by other singers and musicians, including the likes of Stevie Wonder, Celine Dion, Van Morrison, Jennifer Hudson, and many more. (The singer depicted on your T-shirt, for instance, was absolutely wowed by Tom and was not only one of Tom's greatest fans, but became a close friend!). Tom Jones has had many hits, like "Delilah," "Green Green Grass Of Home," "Thunderball," and "Sexbomb," to name a few. Would love to have you explore more of what this talented, entertaining, and charming showman and singer offers. Maybe I'm biased, since he is my favorite singer, but my devotion is well-deserved. No matter what he sings, fast songs or slow, Tom knows just how to reach me. He truly makes me melt. Sing to me, Tom!
I was born in 53 and was around for the greatest decades in music ever. I watched Tom Jones TV show, all the Elvis specials and tons of other talents. Back then there were real variety shows and real talent.
He can still sing this song. There is a video of him singing this on The Voice with the son of the man who wrote this song for Tom. Check it out. He is 83 and still sounds great.
The son was Peter donagon his dad was lonnie.he was a skifel artist. It was quite emotional since Lonnie who was a friend had passed and Tom's wife had passed a couple years before.
Sir Tom Jones is still with us and his career continues with albums and as a Judge on the UK Voice. And he only turns for exceptional voices. As a child he was ill with TB and bedridden for 2 years where he could only listen to music and Elvis Presley was his idol. . He met Elvis in 1965 on the set for the Elvis movie, Paradise,Hawaiian Style. He said “ I first met Elvis when he was getting out of a helicopter, came walking towards me, singing one of my songs!” He couldn’t believe had even heard of him, let alone knew his song. They stayed good friends from then on. Elvis knew talent when he heard it. Tom was a singer from Wales and still sings beautifully today. He has his son as his manager, saying that it’s meant he’s always stayed relevant with his music because of his son. Like Elvis, Tom sings with his heart and soul. Listen to him sing “ I won’t crumble if you fall” from his latest album. It is to honour his wife who he lost to cancer and it will make you cry. Glad you d found him. He has had such an awesome career and is a lovely man. 🙏👌💕
Oh, the memories... This takes me way back. 'Jones the voice' (as to distinguish him from all the hundreds of thousands of other Welshmen named Jones - our milkman was Jones the milk) was one of my grandmother's favourites. As soon as he came on the radio, she signalled us to be silent so she could swoon in peace! Married his high school sweetheart when they were both 16 (because she fell pregnant) and they stayed married until her death, despite Tom's many um... exploits... with his groupies... One of the best natural singers of his generation, but then he is Welsh, so it's in his genes...
He had his own TV show back in the day and he did many, many duets with some of the greatest singers of all time. But first, another solo from this guy that will show you how dangerous he was, and still is apparently. He has ruined tons of marriages - even when he was never present, mind you. Ok I made that last part up, but if watch him perform Treat Her Right from his show, you will see that no doubt he could snap his fingers and that young mother would be gone in a second. Treat Her Right. Hang on for the ride!
He is a coach on The Voice UK.So don't call him old. He can still sing. Now you can see why he is a coach on the show and the other coaches are in awe of him. So don't judge he his not from the US he is from Wales in Great Britain.
I was at his concert some years ago. He was in his mid seventees at the time, the age of the audience was 20 -80 years old with majority in 20-40 age group. Bras and panties were still thrown onto the stage, and I am not talking granny knickers.
