    I can be honest and say that the areas of life that I’m struggling in right now include education, content , creation, and weight loss. I just get overwhelmed very easily, and I feel like I talk myself out of a lot of things, so this video really help me put things into perspective.

    There are so many things I want to change in my life! The first is consistency. I am so inconsistent it makes me upset. I definitely want to loose weight. I’m in school so I need a steady study schedule. I have children so I need to stay consistent with everything they have going on. I have two businesses that I am inconsistent on I’m inconsistent with my money too. Literally everything smh

    • @JessicaSmith-ie7cm
      @JessicaSmith-ie7cm Рік тому +1

      You should pick ONE of those to start with and if I may suggest (as a fellow mama here) start with those children. Get them on a routine/schedule and slowly build your consistency (very small pieces at a time) within their schedule.
      Example-I want to lose weight as well and while we all know nutrition is primary over working out….well I need to workout. I also love to workout. But the point is consistently during the week my children get up for school at 6. I want to workout and take my bath BEFORE they get up. So I cut my 45-60 min, “random throughout the week workout”, well really random throughout the month tbh…to three times a week for 30 mins only--so I can focus on consistency. I’m on week 3. So far so good.

    I am loving your videos. You're real and that alone says a lot. My key takeaway: don't be afraid to make mistakes and it's better to take one baby steps at a time. Sad reality is that society expects things to happen now and maybe that explains why we are lovers of the fast food industry. In essence, accepting mistakes and moving on allows for growth. This is the start towards having a growth mindset

    Self-care is like giving yourself a little treat to make sure you're feeling good. Just like how you eat healthy food and exercise to keep your body strong, self-care is about doing things that make you happy and relaxed. It's like a timeout for your mind and body from the daily hustle. Taking a bubble bath, watching your favorite show, going for a walk, or even just taking deep breaths are all part of self-care. It helps reduce stress, keeps your mood up, and makes you feel recharged. Just like your phone needs charging, you need self-care to keep yourself balanced and ready to take on whatever comes your way! 🌟💆‍♀🌼

    This was very helpful. I am a Virgo and perfection is in our dna. Its not attainable but we hold ourselves and those around us to a standard. I started a new job with a new company after 12 years and I have been suffering mentally because of the pressure i place on myself, wanting approval, etc. I was telling my husband that I think journaling would help me unload all the thoughts, etc everyday so that I learn from it but also don't allow it to change me. I run into different energies everyday because I am a home health nurse (now) and as an empath... its A LOT. but I would love to learn how to work through it and I think journaling will help.

    “If weight loss was easy everyone would do it.” Im not gonna lie this bothered me because that’s simply not the case. I love the content of this video because Bria always knows how to break it down but I always find that talking about weight loss when it comes to giving advice is a slippery slope. I’ve been plus size my entire life and it’s something I’ve learned to love about myself. Making the blanket statement that if weight loss was easy everyone would do it feels incredibly dismissive of the fact that there are plenty of people that feel happy and content with the bodies they already exist in. Whether you’re trying to lose weight for health or not, that’s still the truth. I just wanted to make a comment about this because too often I feel like these kinds of remarks go unchecked because we believe them to be fact but it’s not. Even if weight loss was easy, I wouldn’t do it. Let’s not be ignorant about the way that people exist in their bodies.

    I like the tire analogy but I usually use the phone one. People are so protective of their cell phones nowadays. If you drop your phone you check it to see if the screen is cracked. Whether it is or not, are you going to stomp on it with your foot to make it worse? Will you drive over it with your car and really break the phone? Probably not. So why do we ruin our diet or day when one thing goes wrong? Just let it go…

    I want to stop smoking weed daily, just so I can achieve all the things I want in life. Maybe smoke occasionally or once in a while, but stop with the daily weed smoking habit. I have nothing against weed though. I think it is a beautiful plant and all, also I prefer it to alcohol, but if you do a lot of it it can take away your willingness to do things. You don’t care as much and can be lazy. Which is such a shame because sobriety is not a bad thing. Being sober is having clarity of mind and connection to your true feelings, which I’m starting to appreciate more and more while getting older (I’m 29 years old currently).
