It can definitely mess you up psychologically and it seemed like he was just beginning to realize this. That said, it seemed obvious he never felt like he was ready to get married to anyone so why was he cast on Love is Blind?

I really don't think Kenneth was avoidant attachment. I think he was just... avoidant. For some reason he just was as not interested in that girl.
Yeah and i dont think Brittany was anxiously attached… she was just worried because it’s not normal for your fiance to as distant as Kenneth was. I think a situation like that would make anyone with a secure attachment anxious as well.

Following the new episode i need someone to do a comparison between Clay and Johnny before the wedding when they were describing why they were marrying AD and Amy. The difference is so stark. All Clay cares about is what she can do for him. To support him. He wants a caregiver. Yet the way Johnny speaks about Amy are things that make her who she is. Her personality and qualities.
Great video, great points. I definitely believe “love” to be action, not feeling. To reference the “Fiddler on the Roof” song, “Do you love me,” to love someone means to share joys and sorrows and work and play over many years. To love someone means to stand by them in all these things, even when their idiosyncrasies irritate you.
I do not think that modern dating supports this idea of love being an action, not a feeling.
Brittany don't exhibit anxious attachment insecurities but Chelsea does

Clay and AD are both immature and not ready for marriage. AD should stop carrying her relationships, it takes two to tango. Clay needs to go to therapy and not hold his father’s cheating habits close to his heart. Marriage is sacred and it is something that needs to be taken seriously. AD should be with a MAN not a Young Man. Clay needs to grow up. I’m proud of him being introspective but he needs to do more work on himself and not use a woman to grow him. Going into marriage you are sacrificing yourself every day for the other person and choosing to love that person every day. As a young married woman, marriage is only hard if you make it hard on yourself.

I truly believe not everyone should get married. Just like how not everyone has the credentials to be a teacher, lawyer or doctor should be those things.
Or become parents.
I don’t agree that Chelsea seemed calm or secure in the pods at all. She literally told him that she looks like Megan Fox, which of course you know he’s going to make a person when I talk to you. Very manipulative . She is dishonest and incredibly insecure, and in my opinion kept projecting that onto her partner? Who to be fair, cleary wasn’t like super into her, but she also chose him over someone who was super into her, and made that very clear to her the whole time he was talking her.
I feel like this season is a really good example of the way in which people m create scenarios that reinforce their negative feedback loop . Her and AD in my opinion both what into situations that already perpetuate internal insecurity is that both of them have about not feeling good enough
