We need the hobby of micro rc racing to become popular. Even something like the old kyosho dnano they was super scale looking, you could build a track on a custom made table the sane size as a 1/32 4 lane slot car track so that way it doesn't take much room and you can have scale racing in your mancave
I plan on making a drift track. Other people use outdoor carpet and will hot glue down candy cane colored rope. Very cheap im not sure how well it works for grip racing though.
Great track, you've followed my Golden rule i use for all my different scale of RC racing. 8 times the width of the RC Car gives the best racing for overtaking and maximises space optimisation.
oh yea i just bought me a gl racing gtr chassis.. i had evolved my mr03 evo chassis to a full suspension with tiny oil filled shocks, so it was time to grab a full on race chassis.
That lip protector is supposed to come off when they arrive at dealership but the techs that do new car inspection and remove all the film and protective covering and never took off that yellow piece now it's a "custom effect" haha
Nice setup...did you use heat gun to bend pipe at all? OR did you just find all parts and assemble?.PS.. what are lane width on standard mini z track?..thanks again
I have it stored in boxes right now. Had to make room for all my kids toys 🤦🏻♂️lol. But I have a track setup at AJ hobbies in vaughan. You can go check it out there during store hours.
They slip off but only in 1 direction. They are a bit snug though. You can soak them in hot water from the tap. That helps expand the tire so they press off easier.
My wife and I just bought two Mini-Z's. She got the standard MR-03 and I got the MR-03 EVO. We are going to build a track in the basement using the Home Depot mats. I'm thinking pool noodles for the "guides" as we are both noobs and I think it will be easier on our cars. I'm thinking tie wraps spaced 6"?? We will see. Nice video, thanks.
thanks brother. youll have a ton of fun with these for sure. i tried the pool noodles. they were a bit bulky for me. they were obstructing my view at times. they definitely were easier on the bodies tho
Cheers for letting me know about Laptrax, That's awesome.
I used to race them in basketball 🏀 courts back in school days! Got mad Lamborghini Murcielago now fully modified
Mini z are the best wish was more hobby town support for them and had a track to race

Check out Sturmkind Dr!ft, if you want real(ish) looking 1/43 drifting and racing.
Hey congrats forbthat nice home track. Keep up the fine job
Much more fun for me on hard surfaces, like hardwood floor or the dnano track, with drift tires. 👍
Nice Setup - thanks for sharing.
Awesome track and layout!
This is exactly what I plan to do. Nice

I don't have one of these but have looked at them, one day I will, I do have smaller rc drift trucks but nothing that small. Lol cool stuff
Great home track build. Is that an iPhone app? Could you please give the app details? Thanks

Nice setup bro. Great video
Thanks bro
Beautiful basement, track, and studio setup Bro! I’m starting to get into Mini Z’s now too 🤦♂️😂
👊😎 Keep up the great work…
Thanks buddy! These little guys are so much fun man.

Very sweet my dude good thinking, ill have to do something like yours too.
Thanks bro!

Congratulations! Have u tried to use silvertape to make the track conections stay in the same high?
No I just snapped them together. The height difference isn't enough to justify the work tbh
Nice setup...did you use heat gun to bend pipe at all? OR did you just find all parts and assemble?.PS.. what are lane width on standard mini z track?..thanks again
bro turned his living room into a mini-z racetrack.
your wife still around 😂
Awesome! We need to grow this hobby. Organized racing is so much fun.
I agree
It is grown they have Mini z world championships.....
Noticed you said you are also from Ontario. Do you still have your mini Z track? Looks great. 👍🏽
I have it stored in boxes right now. Had to make room for all my kids toys 🤦🏻♂️lol. But I have a track setup at AJ hobbies in vaughan. You can go check it out there during store hours.
Super Nice ! Thanks for sharing . P.S i bought the same car
Nice cave. I wish you're my neighbor 😂
Where can we buy the green/black Dodge body by itself?
Have you tried putting down some wide masking tape across the interlocking seams? Wonder how that would work.
I don't see a need for that tbh. It's actually not that bad and very comparable to the professional RCP tracks
what is your laptrack's app please ?
Where did you get your lap counter??? Can it do more than one.car?
yes it can. its called laptrax. i have a video on that system if you care to watch
Scale speed is important for me. Most rc are too fast for me but I love em nevertheless.
how is it for drifting? Nice basement btw!!
thanks brother. the track is pretty high grip. even with drift tires its hard to keep a slide going
Awesome !!!
Sweet home man!
thanks brother. i had a lipo fire a couple of years ago and it all got redone through insurance. play safe!
I bet those rcp track joint are the same.
I wish they were. They use a special joint. I've already tried lol
But the track surface and grip are nearly identical though
How did you get the hard tires (stock ) off
They slip off but only in 1 direction. They are a bit snug though. You can soak them in hot water from the tap. That helps expand the tire so they press off easier.
Wow ❤
Nice job
I think this is awesome.
Thanks man!
These are great! Which app did you use for the track timing?
It's called laptrax. Check out my latest video. It's all about the laptrax app
Sweet!
Thanks!
Your awesome.
I am from Ontario too where ya from ia m from Hamilton and I am thinking to open up track
Nice! I'm in bolton. Are you affiliated with a hobby store or are you doing a stand alone track?
