Indoor RC track near Toronto!
What's up guys!
This was too cool to not share. I recently stepped away from bashing for a bit while I entered a different side to this hobby. I raced all summer at a small outdoor track near Barrie Ontario. But, as always, winter has left us all stranded.... until now.
400 indoor rc racing just opened their doors in January. They host 10th and 8th scale club races biweekly. There is even talks of potentially opening a larger outdoor track this upcoming season if the interest is there.
So please guys let me know in the comments below if this is something your interested in. I would like to grow the club to ensure the doors stay open and we stay racing!

Front wheel offset is too wide, I had the same problem with +3mm offset wheels. Stock wheels are +1.5mm, I'm using +1mm offset with no clearance issues.

On a rcp track the rwd will almost always dominate
Great video and really helpful explanations as to why.
Did this with my Rustler. Had to lower it and add a brass weight that i made to the front of it. It basically balanced the front to almost match the rear. The transmission housing is all aluminum, su the added weight all around helped. At first i set it up for 4S just because i could. I couldn't keep tires on it. No matter how much i made adjustments, how easy i left off or what the speed was. I couldn't go more than half trigger with it or it would just spin tires. Half throttle was pretty damn quick. Now it has the VXL set up in it. It's still nuts, but i have fun with it.
It's a very fun little truck. I had this truck doing 86mph on 4s but was never able to complete a full throttle pass. I was blowing the belts out of belted tires. I have videos on my Instagram page if your interested.

If you only got to 150/160 with no fan, I'll be able to get away with a 22 tooth with my crazy 7 fan setup in my bigrock 6s. Thanks for the video.
How fast will it be with a nimh 8,4 v battery?
I'm not sure. Nowhere near this fast. But if you really want to know, there are speed calculator apps than you can use to get an approximate speed with your setup

@@EmpireCool4 the one I use is called rcspeed.
@@EmpireCool4 keep in mind that the app does not account for mechanical drag caused by fiction and win resistance. To make it more accurate I will always input a lower voltage to compensate and it seems to be very accurate. For example, if I am using 6s batteries I will do the calculation with 5s batteries instead.
