    1. Can I use store bought groundnut oil as I do not like taste of coconut oil?
    2. Can I use instant oats instead of rolled oats?
    3. For how many days I should follow the meal plan for best results?.

I really wanted this recipe as I am on my weight loss journey. I made Ghee as per your recipe. I used to make it before but never fermented with curd. A small change made a big difference in the taste and aroma. My husband never liked home made ghee as he often says. Ghee de oru taste kittunnilla and always preferred nandhini brand ghee instead of the Desi ghee. But this time he, even without asking praised about my home made ghee. He said it tastes so good. Full credit goes to you chechi....😍😍😍 and I really wanted to share this with you. Thank you so much.

Nice recipe..like the color of upma.
    Just a small correction...
Rolled oats are already cooked..meaning they are already steamed and processed..they are not the whole grain like steel cut oats..
no need to soak..but roasting may enhance the flavor for sure..
I like your recipes..keep them coming

Thank you for sharing wonderful recipes with us... your recipes have helped me a lot in my weight loss journey... I have a small question. Instead of roasting if I want to soak, how long do I soak? Please let me know :)

Hi Ma'am, I have heard that these rolled oats are not so beneficial for our health as they are processed whereas steel cut oats are very good for health because they are natural and contain lot of fibre. They are not being preferred as they take little more time to cook as compared to instant nd rolled oats. I am bit confused please suggest which are the best for us. Thanks
