@@afig3539 Hi! I love all figs! Growing up, my dad would make "holiday trays" for Thanksgiving and Christmas, that consisted of fruits, nuts and figs. We also make an Italian cookie Cucidati. So, my answer is, I'm not sure, I've never eaten a fig I didn't love. Lol
Great answer! RdB (Ronde de Bordeaux) berry, early, plentiful! Italian Honey (Lattarula) honey, early, plentiful! JH Adriatic - green exterior/red interior- SUPER delicious, hardy, tangy, very sweet, complex berry flavors! If you are in 5B, I believe that after 3 years, you may be able to put these trees in ground. I am doing that test right now. But you should definitely bring them into your garage during winter until then. 😃
These are the only ones that ripened for me in Northern NJ. I love them
My Chicago Hardy figs were not as good as previous years. They seemed to not want to ripen all the way. Which usually they’re pretty early.
I live in WNY and would love to grow figs! Which fig would you suggest for my region and flavor? Have a great day!
Ooh! Fun question! Do you have an idea of what type of figs you would enjoy most (honey/berry/cherry/caramel/sugary)?
