This episode definitely filled in many blanks and gave Nick's return to Earth the purpose the series needs to sustain an arc throughout a season.
I thought the same thing about Sharron. Glad I'm not the only one. I think Fury is playing everyone and actually is 3 steps ahead. He's putting on a show acting "different" since the blip.

I agree Sharon could be a part of this show. If not that was a setup for Armor Wars, which is on the old Phase 5 timeline. Either way, I would love to see where that thread goes.
Good call on Sharon Carter. I hope you're right. I was never happy with her hard left to the evil side from being a SHIELD agent and Cap's boyfriend. I'll start looking for a glimpse of her body in the pods
The 4 things on the computer were Groot, the Frost Beast of Jotunheim (from the first 2 Thor movies), Extremis (From Iron Man 3), and Cull Obsidian from Thanos' family. His arm was cut off with a portal by Wong in the fight in new York when they were trying to take the time stone from Dr. Strange). That should give some ideas about the powers they are trying to "harvest."

What G'iah was looking at was DNA information that the Skrulls have been collecting, or maybe harvesting.
If you look at the DNA samples that they have they are making the MCU version of the Super-Scrull. The Super-Scrull had all of the powers of the Fantastic Four. The 4 DNA's are the MCU version of those powers. Groot (Mister Fantastic (Stretching)), Cull Obsidian (The Thing (Super Strength)), Frost Beast (Invisible Woman (Invisible shields)), Extremis (Human Torch (Flames)).
I wonder if this is how we get the Fantastic 4. Probably not, but weirder things have happened.
Watching it again, now get the impression that Fury knew Rhodie was going to fire him which now basically means he is able to act on his own without any ties and has so many connections he can go underground to do his thing. Still think his big "secret" that he says the Skrulls want is for him to actually bring the Avengers into the fight which would be easier for Gravik to score more powerful DNA for himself so thats why he says its his fight alone.
Except he's clueless to the Skrulls wanting to harvest DNA. He's worried about their faces being cloned and their reputation destroyed. Not having their powers stolen, because he doesn't know Skrulls are trying to do that yet. The characters do not have the information you do. They are not omnipotent

They are trying to make a Super Skrull. In the comics it was done by taking the DNA from the Fantastic 4 and putting the powers into one skrull. I think this is why Fury wants the Avengers to stay put so the Skrulls don't get their powers. but it looks like the skrulls are looking for their own DNA to steal and use.

23:12 Gravik is likely going to be Super Skrull. Super Skrull is quite different in the comic, but given how the MCU has never tried to be the comic, we shouldn't have expect that version of him anyway. I like what the MCU is doing, and though Super Skrull is going to be different, he's sort of going to be the same, lol.
Groot = Mr. Fantastic
Extremis = Human Torch
Cull Obsidian = The Thing
Frost Beast = Invisible Woman
The MCU doesn't have the Fantastic Four yet, at least not in the Prime Universe, anyway. Groot's ability is different from Reed Richards, but it is a little similar. Extremis isn't exactly like Johnny Storm either, but it does sort of look like Johnny when he's channeling his inner flame. Cull Obsidian was Thanos' muscle, he didn't have any special power, at least none that was shown to us, but his skin did look pretty thick and resilient, maybe it is rock-like. I don't recall what the Frost Beast in Dark World could do, but I do recall it running around in the parking lot in England. Do they have the ability to freeze? I don't think we saw it do anything save for chase after a murder of crows, but because it's from Jotunheim, Loki's birthplace, maybe it does have the ability to freeze things. Sue can make herself invisible and make a forcefield barrier. Freezing things is quite different, but perhaps this Super Skrull is going with abilities based on elements. In any case, I like this change.
Varra, the Skrull that introduced Nick to Gravik, is Priscilla, Nick's wife. Listen to the way Nick says her name in 1997, he was smitten back then!

The Skrulls remind me of some South East Asian peoples that refer to others with family terms like uncle, aunt, brother or sister depending on the age difference. With so few of their people left, they likely do feel like family much more than they did before.
Varra seemed to be like the Skrull charged with looking after Gravik, so adoptive mother, and with Nick being her husband, he likely was Gravik's adoptive father. In any case, Nick per Varra's suggestion took Gravik under his wing--Gravik was trained by Nick, so we should really expect him to be very, very dangerous!
I don't think Gravik blames Nick for his absence during the blip, as half the Skrull population vanished too, but I'm sure he blames him for his time after--Talos told us that Nick was unreachable after his return! Nick was likely gone because of what's going on now. Talos didn't tell him the full story, but I'm sure Varra did! More importantly, Thanos did the unthinkable and Nick was helpless to stop him. He needed a better contingency than a supped up pager, so he built SABER.
Talos told Nick on the train that he sent out the call and that every Skrull that wasn't in Emperor Drogge's colony came to Earth. Why didn't those Skrull's come? Are they bad news? Shirley Sagar, the Skrull council woman who refused to submit, tried to warn the Skrulls of their troubled past. She didn't want them to repeat the sins of their previous wars, and it looks like Gravik is leading them down that path yet again. The Kree nearly annihilated the Skrulls, only a million were left after they were forced to leave Skrullous. A million Skrulls living in safety and flourishing on Earth could drive that number up real quick in 30 years. There's a lot more than a million Skrulls on Earth--we already saw small children at Gravik's compound so they're definitely procreating! We know nothing about the Skrull reproductive system, but if they are exactly like humans, which I doubt, with a 1% growth rate over 25 years they'd be able to increase their numbers by nearly 325,000 people.
If Gravik's compound is a good measure, most Skrulls don't want to fight. They just want to live a peaceful life, and though they had little they seemed quite pleased with what they had. Only a handful of Gravik's 500 are soldiers, though that might change now that he's been made war general.
Nick is sort of like a Messiah for the Skrulls and Talos is like an honored disciple. I imagine Nick still has a lot of sway with the Skrulls, Talos too. It'll be interesting to see how this all plays out.
Space is infinite and from what we know know with our technology there are millions of planets out there, but there aren't a whole lot of planets with conditions similar to our own. The MCU has the means to warp to anywhere they want in the galaxy, so that's nice, but what's the likely hood of anyone finding a planet in a solar system's sweet spot that's uninhabited? The MCU has shown us a lot of worlds and most of them have their own indigenous peoples, save for that world the Guardians of the Galaxy crashed on just before Ego met with them. To be honest, I'm surprised Nick didn't offer them Mars--green skinned aliens with point ears would be perfect on that red rock =P
There science is beyond ours and Captain Marvel surely knows other aliens with even more advanced technology and science that could possibly help them to terra form Mars, return the planets magnetic field or at the very least make domed cities until a planet could be found years later.
I don't know how this ends, but to be honest I don't want it too. I'm having too much fun with this one.

I believe, based on the trailers, that Talos will die at some point, perhaps, when they go against Gravik. Gaia, might take some superpowers too, but whether or not she’ll end up doing it, she’ll become the new Skrull leader. Guys, that’s all theorises……but are they?😅
My guess is there is Skrull Nick Fury in some scenes which we will find out in later episodes.
As I've said, the Skrull are the kudzu of the galaxy and perhaps the Kree were not the bad guys we were told they were.
I think Fury said he was married in Cap America: Winter Soldier.

Fury talking about even when he’s out he’s in. Except for when you was on a spaceship my g you was out. All types of people losing their mind while you in space shit was going down on earth. Want to have a breakdown losing her mind puppeteer in her dead husband’s corpse almost killed a whole teenager. All types of purple shit going on with the sky with Spider-Man and moon knight. We having to deal with giant werewolves jackals and crocodiles in Egypt

I didn't trust Sharon since civil war. People were just shipping her and Cap, but what kind of woman hits on and gets with the love of her aunts life right after she dies.... and risks her job and career to steal his shield from the government just for him.... and gives a speech at Peggys funeral to push Cap not to sign the accords... Something has always been off about her.
considering she was the closest agent and only agent to handle fury’s body when he “faked” his death i wouldn’t doubt sharon’s a skrull.. and that makes me wonder if nick was also a skrull there and actually died but since cap chased after bucky he didn’t see him revert.. and then obviously nick did the whole slowing heart rate on his actual self and came back .
The old nick fury would have definitely known that there were 1 million skrulls on earth.
