Anytime I see this scene between Fury and Scilla/Varra, it just reminds me that marriage requires both partners to commit to the hard work of keeping communication lines open and be there for one another, both of which are made more difficult when the partners are both spies.
Betrayed had a few logic gaps, but the midway point of Secret Invasion was solid enough to keep the mystery rolling.
My theory is at the end Gravik's not gonna die. He will be captured and sent to Damage Control Supermax Prison. Later he'll become some Anti-Hero type character and Val gonna recruit him in the Thunderbolts. This movie's villain Sentry another Superpower being so to tackle him they will need a Super-Skrull in the team

What a damn good episode this was. This show continues to deliver on the tone and the seriousness.
While the first two episodes were better overall, I still thought this episode was good. While I've come to acclimate to the MCU Disney Plus episode format of 6 episodes, I also continue to wish for a bit more episodes to have things fully fleshed out.
The very tense interaction between Talos and Gravik was incredible. Ben Mendelsohn and Kingsley Ben-Adir delivered amazing points for why they do what they think must be done for the advancement of the Skrulls.
Kingsley, in my opinion, is turning in one hell of a performance as Gravik. His eyes, his body language, the way he speaks and his actions impress me greatly.
Also, Super Skrulls are coming! Also also, looks like Rhodey IS a Skrull???? Also also also, I don't believe that G'iah is dead. Ain't no way you cast Emilia Clarke only to get clapped halfway through the show.
We're halfway done with this series, and I can't wait for the next episode.

In this episode, we are given two very important clues as to what is going to happen next. The first is that nobody calls Fury "Nick," (and who have we seen call him Nick recently) and that a perceived threat to G'iah will provoke Talos to take action, including killing another Skrull.
I feel like the black dude who hasnt done much in gravik camp has a bigger role than any of us expect. Hes just been " around" for 3 episodes as the new guy
Yep. I also think he is not completely ok with the extreme nature of what Gravik and co are trying to do. I think he came looking for a sanctuary, not to risk his life and kill other people. Not to mention he has seen what Gravik does to his own men. Or he is there to infiltrate Graviks group and his hesitation is an act.

Ive been saying on other channels that Rhodey calling Fury "Nick" is not proof that Rhodey is a Skrull. I believe it's code, just like Talos used it in this episode. Yes, im almost certain it was Talos and not Bob only because of the way Bob is said.
Then again, he could very well be a Skrull. It's fun hypothesizing lol
This show is so good! I'm a shamelss mcu fanboy, but I still have my tier lists. This show is definitely in the top. Especially with the D+ shows.

Maybe the G'iah you saw in the trailer was a flashback or some other Skrull pretending to be her to be a triple spy and collect inside intel on Fury.

13:06 Did you watch Captain Marvel? We first saw this machine there. Talos had Carol Danvers on this machine--she was hanging upside down at the time. He and his men were searching her memories for Dr. Wendy Lawson, well, they didn't know here name when they were looking for her, but this machine helped them find her name. The rewound Carol memory back to her childhood, boot camp and various other points in her life. Talos learned that no matter how many times Carol got knocked down, that she always got back up.
Skrulls can touch a person's mind and become a pretty good copy of the person, but it seems like they have limitations to that power--Pagon, Beto and the new guy had to read the files of the Royal Navy men they were replacing. Touching their minds gave them basic knowledge, voice and cadence, but they still needed to read up on the men to know sensitive/classified parts about them--maybe because people lock things away in their minds via training or trauma, as we saw with Carol? You aren't at the scene yet, but Talos could copy the commandant they had tied to the chair, because he could be a copy of the copy in front of him, but he couldn't pull the mission kill word from the commandant's mind. there are limitations. This likely explains why the Skrulls are keeping their human shells alive. They can't copy everything about a person instantly, they need to keep their shells for long periods of time, refining that perfection over time to be convenience, which is what they alluded to in episode one. Keeping human shells alive allows them to go back and get information when they needed, like G'iah just did, but also allow for any skrull to stand in for someone killed along the way.
14:21 There's a twist coming, don't trust everything you see. This is a spy thriller, and what's a spy thriller without stage craft? Nick has been portrayed as an old man that's lost his step, that's not case--I'm not buying it. He wanted to be seen in Russia before Gravik carried out his mission; Nick made sure to be seen in public. He was seen by the girl with the ball, the woman on the bench and the man in the bar AND CCTV. That was intentional. Why did Nick Fury and Maria have a very PUBLIC disagreement about work, espionage, in a bar in front of everyone? That was intentional! Gravik was in that bar, and he heard every word. Didn't Maria give him the idea to kill her? Gravik is being played, and he's feeling very good about himself. Nick, Talos and G'iah Keep giving him rope and he keeps taking it. I think Varra's about to give them more. I don't think Nick's falling out with Varra was as it seemed either--she left her phone on the counter. That was intentional. Nick questioned her loyalty, also intentional? Nick assumed that she was in league with Gravik. If he assumed that, he must have assumed that the home was bugged and that she was being watched--what did we see happening on her way to the bank? Varra being watched!
Nick is making people he's lost his step and that he's vulnerable, but I don't think that that's the case at all. I think he's been trying to flush the Power Broker out, all the Skrulls from Emperor Drogge's colony that answered Talos' call. They're the warmongering lot that Talos and those with him in Captain Marvel fled from, when they charted a new course for them and their people. Skrulls are bad news in the comics, but we're seeing here that not all of them are bad.

Every time we have seen a skrull take a bullet to the chest they die and turn into their skrull form. So I don’t see how G’iah can be alive. And also yea Rhodey is a skrull.
I wonder if Fury's eyeglasses can not only see infrared, but also read digital info, such as what's on phones?

I love your reactions but for the last two weeks with Secret Invasion you've given spoilers without warning from the previews. I purposely don't watch previews to avoid that information. Your theories and thoughts are great, but please consider those of us that don't watch previews.
