      It does even though it’s not anything new it still does, and when you consider how society would respond if people began calling 911 about a white man running we know the response would be different. A 911 operator or police wouod question what the issue is w a white man running down the street but in the 911 recording in this case the 911 operator didn’t even question mcmichael what it was the black man did bc running is not a crime or emergency!!!

      I don't understand what people don't understand about that! Neighborhood watch doesn't mean you get to be the police, judge, jury, and executioner. You don't get to stop and ask strangers questions. You don't get to demand their details. People need to mind their business and leave people alone. If you have a concern about a crime in progress, call the police. These racists need to stop calling the police every time they see or encounter people of color. It's embarrassing to be white! Not all of us are racists Karen's. Justice must be served early tomorrow morning. Thanks for reading.

This neighborhood was itching to shoot someone nothing wrong with keeping the guard up but the way they were snooping around their neighbors house they began to see the "boogyman" behind every tree. I won’t go into details about the case, but this is a free country. Ahmaud had a right to go wherever he wanted to, without being chased by gun toting hillbillies demanding him to stop and talk to them. Who are THEY? They’re not police!
      The property owner whom house he had walked in, specifically stated he took absolutely nothing out of his home. It was also proven that two white people had stolen from his property.
      Bottom line is that you’re a miserable person who could care less if Amaud is not guilty. It’s simple, you hate him for who he is. Good luck living with a dark and ugly heart. How sad.

      That’s because being prepared to defend yourself or being in a different state of mind isn’t an admission of guilt. • @KingP0rkchop
      @KingP0rkchop 3 роки тому

      @@BirdsFn4Life I'd say so, at the very least, VERY unethical. You see, preparing anyone to be on the witness stand is the DUTY of the Defense or the Prosecution. The majority of people on the stand have little to no legal knowledge when testifying, for them to be prepared is IMPERATIVE, regardless of culpability.
      Bringing it up before the jury as if that was any indication to their guilt and/or lack of credibility is highly unethical, and stands to reason that it could also be considered prosecutorial misconduct.
      Innocent until proven guilty, defending yourself by being prepared is far from proof or indication of guilt.

      @baddriversofthenorcalarea500 3 роки тому +1

      @Ms. Kitty Katt You have clearly never actually read the law regarding qualified immunity. The language (And preceding court cases) all specifically indicate that it does not cover criminal cases. What you are talking about is a different set of circumstances. If qualified immunity applied to criminal cases, Derick Chauvin would still be patrolling today.
      "Why do you think all these murdering cops never face charges " Because it is almost never murder. It is justified homicide. Those standards are set within Graham V Connor, a supreme court case. Read them. A suspect has to present a threat of great bodily injury or death in a way that any reasonable officer would perceive to be. The majority of shootings are against white people with guns.
      "Why do you think we have all been crying to have it taken away"
      Because once again, you are talking about something you are not educated, nor experienced in. You watch some videos of misconduct, then act as if you are the expert in the topic and know everything about it.
      "Qualified immunity is why cops don’t get charged when they kill unarmed people" killing an unarmed person is not, by default, something to be charged. An unarmed person can absolutely still kill you and present a lethal threat to you. A cop was literally just murdered in April by a 100% unarmed suspect. The man ambushed the cop with his bare hands, knocked him unconscious, then stomped on his skull until he was braindead. Unarmed=/= not a threat.
      "Qualified immunity is why cops can get fired , then get reinstated with back pay"
      Qualified immunity has NOTHING to do with that. That is the work of police unions. Do you have any kind of formal education on this topic?
      "Qualified immunity is why cops don’t pay for lawsuits out of their own pockets"
      Nor should they. Most of the time lawsuits are just settled, even when the officer was in the right, because taking it to court to prove the cop did nothing wrong is more expensive than just giving the person money.
      Even when the case does go to court, a lawsuit only needs to prove that there was questionability in the officers actions, it does not actually need to prove anything.
      Do you think its fair to take away someone's life savings when they did nothing wrong? When you screw up at work, or even when you don't, are you fined $1,000,000?

    This attorney that most of us have never heard of, has absolutely made a name for herself by speaking facts, being passionate and not sugar coating anything. She didn’t try to use fancy legal terms to confuse people either. She was straight and to the point. She is the example of what lawyers should do. I hope little girls look at her and know they can do this too. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for her. She is going places. Her first task was getting justice for Ahmaud and she did just that.

      Travis: Uh, right at 219 or 220 Satilla Drive.

      Travis: No, it's all open and it's under construction and he's running right now. There he goes right now.
