AM showed the same disregard & disconnect towards Buster in his (recorded) jailhouse conversations w/him when he asked his son why he sounded down-in-the-dumps as if just losing his mother & brother to murder & his father being charged w/the crime wouldn't negatively affect him, let alone require an explanation as if there was something wrong w/the way he was feeling. It was so insensitive. Buster sounded completely taken aback by the question just like when he confronted his dad over stealing monies which he'd just found out about. Buster sounded completely blindsided & disappointed to learn about what his dad had done & his dad just blew it off. I think these boys must have been raised in a dysfunctional family if they'd assigned their youngest son be their "little detective" in charge of weeding out daddy's opioids on a regular basis. Even when Maggie found a stash of pills in her husband's bag, she didn't confront him directly but called Paul instead. It's unfair & too big a burden for parents to place their children into those types of adult situations.
This guy was great, I was very impressed. This should be shown as a lesson in prosecuting. He simplified the evidence so it was easy to understand and tie together….. He gave the jury no choice but to convict. Well done!

I wonder when it became apparent to him. He could only live in denial for so long. but the moment he knew it was his own dad that destroyed his family and family name --- numbing.
I think Buster knew from the start. I've seen Buster with a vindictive look and the middle finger up while a lawyer for the housekeepers son was on the stand. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree here.
I'm hoping he stays in touch with his mom's sister Marian. The hug they shared after she testified choked me up. I feel bad for him. He does not deserve the sins of his father laid at his feet. Ppl need to show him compassion, not hate.
Channelling Bob Jambois at times, this was an elite tier rebuttal. Facts laid out in layman's language which without question will be remembered by the Jurors as they deliberate.

Yup
You were right on the dysfunctional family
Finally, all the most important details of the murder in order are being told 😅 … He did a brilliant 👏🏼job for the Jurors to see the whole picture 😳
This guy was great, I was very impressed. This should be shown as a lesson in prosecuting. He simplified the evidence so it was easy to understand and tie together….. He gave the jury no choice but to convict. Well done!
Phenomenal. I usually yell at my screen "bring up this witness!" or "bring up this fact that was omitted or bushed over!" but not this time. This was the best closing argument I've heard.
Well done, Mr. Meadors! You put a bow on it and tied it up real pretty. Good job, Sir!
49:53 made Me cry like a baby. Such a powerful state closing rebuttal by Atty John Meadors.
Plain talk is easy to understand. Much love and thanks to the prosecution team ! I do believe that Justice has begun to shine the light.
And the Oscar goes to ...John Meadors!!!! Brilliant sir, Brilliant!!!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 That's how you tie it together and top it with a bow!!!
The VERY BEST TEAM and Closing Argument, that I have ever seen 🙏 I believe that THIS brought Everything Home! Such a "Great Job" to The Attorneys, Jury and Judge Newman 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Everyone in that courtroom was moved by this rebuttal, hopefully including the jury.
Historic closing. A prosecution team at its very finest.
This entire case should be watched from beginning to end by every law student.
That whole team for sure was the "dream team" at it's best, kudos to them all
This prosecutor almost had me crying. Did you see how red busters face was? I think he knows in his heart that it's true.
He looked like he was barely holding it together. poor guy.
Buster about to explode.. i think he actually looked like he was going to tear up
I'm hoping he stays in touch with his mom's sister Marian. The hug they shared after she testified choked me up. I feel bad for him. He does not deserve the sins of his father laid at his feet. Ppl need to show him compassion, not hate.
John Meadors. Wow! wow ! wow! You brought it home. Powerful!!!
That was an AMAZING closing argument. #micdrop
John Meadors really brought this home!!! What a great attorney- so impassioned. I was so impressed. Who knew?
Excellent job Mr. Meadors!!! Thank you sooo much!!!
Channelling Bob Jambois at times, this was an elite tier rebuttal. Facts laid out in layman's language which without question will be remembered by the Jurors as they deliberate.
He hit it on the head Common Sense all jurors need to have common sense to do this job!!!
