      @Carol Watkins My heart breaks reading your comments. It breaks because as a mother, I can't imagine how it must feel for ANYONE of color. I can TRY to imagine, but I doubt I could come close. I have multiracial family members but me, and my kids are undoubtedly "pigment challenged ". 8 KNOW my son would be afforded the benefit of doubt that Mr Aubary was never afforded. My heart aches for his mother and so many others who have suffered the MURDER of their children...and make no mistake, this was murder. It was a lynching. I hope with every ounce of my body that there are many other mothers like me who have raised their children to see folks who are of a different race, religion, nationality, sexual orientation etc as HUMAN BEINGS, brothers and sisters of the largest race...the human race. Fully deserving of our respect, dignity, love and compassion...equal in all ways. My heart breaks and I am ashamed, because I also know that your words are true....and we, as a people, must change this. I think we are approaching a pivotal moment in the history of human beings and we damn sure better correct our course...or we will all perish...one way or another. I cannot see how anyone could find these three monsters not guilty, although I know it might happen. To me, its clear....they had NO right to pursue, accost, terrorize and kill this young man. They were the ones breaking the law on February 23, 2020.

I would argue that if you're so comfortable with these acts of criminality (both racially charged homicide and women's sexual assault) that you yourself would be a good candidate for life in Africa. Often times, when people speak out against injustice, they do it at great personal pain, it is no victory to call to mind the ways in which we have failed as a nation. To lump it into a category of 'America haters' does nothing to solve the pressing issues of our time. To think this way is fundamentally flawed, it is to systematically reduce the problem down into something that makes sense to those who otherwise have no answer as to why there exists such a divide amongst us. Bottom line is everything these three criminals did were illegal and you don’t just get to assume someone did something because they are outside running and because they skin look different from theirs. • @mfade3577
      @mfade3577 3 роки тому

      @Richard I respect your opinion but I totally disagree. It would be one thing if they targeted anyone that ran down the street but in this case they didn’t see him steal anything whatsoever. They based their decision merely on speculative reasoning and assumptions that “he may have stole something because he was seen on the construction site. They didn’t see him commit a felony to pursue him on a chase throughout the neighborhood. He wasn’t armed with any weapons whatsoever. They drew weapons on him after trying to get him to stop to question him when they simply could have called the authorities if they thought he did anything because all they say was him in the construction site and “assumed oh it must be him that’s been taken things in the community because he’s running and because he’s black”. That’s not a citizen arrest based on assumptions and oh my mother told me she think and or she saw something. I can’t get in my truck and pursue someone of doing something based on an assumption of rumor that I haven’t witness a crime happen or happening. And then try and claim self defense after false imprisonment and after pulling my guns out on someone that has the right not to listen to my threats and demands. That’s your opinion and these are mine. They all deserve to go to prison and never see daylight ever…..

    • @mfade3577
      @mfade3577 3 роки тому

      @Richard I believe the property owners stated nothing was stolen from this property. The notion a us citizen trespass illegally gives grounds for 3 residents to illegally follow him down the street based on speculation and mere assumptions of things stolen in the community. So we gonna accuse a black us citizen of these crimes with no direct knowledge of these encounters. So it appears you’re giving opinion of the law as opposed to the facts of the law. They had no evidence and had no facts of anything whatsoever. No further discussions.
