So amazing the level, the minute level, of detail each of these great off road athletes think about when riding and racing. I measure it by how hard I am breathing!! 😆 I need to up my game.
Yeah he did!! Since there is a marathon in track and field and a road race in road cycling, has there ever been any talk about adding a longer MTB race like a Leadville distance to Worlds?
I found it interesting the large difference in fluid intake where Sofia commented she really didn't "need to" with the cooler temps while Keegan had an opposite take where he said you have to make yourself .....Either way they are equally impressive!
Fluid intake is so easily neglected. I would never follow in a pros footsteps on this aspect. You need to know your own needs and not lie to yourself, when it’s too late, your invested time for the event is totally wasted.
Hi coach! Any rule to adjust power at altitude? I had to race at 3000 the last week and luckily I hit the spot but would like to figure it out more scientifically
You discussed all the Strava segments Sofia and Keegan got.... of course... but where there any segments that either athlete were surprised they DIDN'T get?
Wow, some great performances by Sofia and Keegan, I thought it was impossible for someone light like Sofia to generate so much power for long intervals, but I guess not. I am 130 so maybe I can win Leadville sometime,I better hurry up as I am almost 70 :-)
It would have been more helpful to listen to the racers. Although some of the knowledge was helpful, I'm not here to listen to Johnathan and what his results are. Let the racers speak and answer your questions, but don't spend the majority speaking yourself... let Sophia and Keegan speak more.
There's only one Kuss and Remco may be leaving Quickstep. Also, Kuss should have a shot at the Vuelta for himself. The Giro and TdF TTs(with the exception of this season) would normally rule him out of a podium for those GTs
@@TalleyrandsPuppet Probably a light-hearted reference to Nate crashing and abandoning (with a concussion) in Cape Epic. When Sofia could've won the Individual category.
Why dont you interview some real champions...Van der Poel..Pidcock..Sagan...Keegan is a nice guy but 73rd in World Championship??...TR needs to step up and be more relevant
Always great hearing from these two!!
Always enjoy the content with Sofia and Keegan. Incredible power couple. Love having Sofia back on the Pod!
Oh you mean Sofeegan? Or Keefia?
Great job Jonathan. A U.S. race we can relate with and even have a chance to participate in. Keep up the great work.
Thoroughly impressive interviews!
Incredible performances!

Love the interviews!! Keegan just nailed it. Curious why he doesn’t do World Championships in MTB?
He crushed it! He had a lot of success at the junior and u23 level in XCO, but his physiology and enthusiasm lends him to the long stuff these days!

There is. MTB Marathon worlds
Great Interview. I found the difference in Sofia & Keegan's use of caffeine & what was discussed with Hanna last week Interesting.

Thanks for these breakdowns! Great job TR and crew! Congrats to Sofia, Keegan and Tobin on a job well done!
Very well conducted interview. Great job!
Enjoyed this thanks very much Jonathan
OMG! Amazing to hear from both again!
Love all the details on what is takes.
Thank you, TR Team for bringing such amazing content. How else could we get the full story from both champions in a single place and under an hour? 🎉
Great interview, thank you.

You should do the Marji Gesick in Marquette, Michigan!
You discussed all the Strava segments Sofia and Keegan got.... of course... but where there any segments that either athlete were surprised they DIDN'T get?
TBH, we're disappointed to see Keegan did *not* get any feed zone KOMs, as he's known for not stopping through them... ;)
Nice interviews.
Leadville once again proving that Blink's "Aliens Exist" was just biographically prophetic of Keegan.
Incredible Performance
King Charles on an E-bike would be quite a sight! Probably would have an amazing mounted escort in traditional garb!

What ever happened to Chad?
Umm..
Not supposed to talk about it. He never existed.
@@TalleyrandsPuppet really what happened?

DON'T MENTION CHAD.
Wow not surprised they didn't talk about the road championships or TDF or upcoming Vuelta. How dare they discuss road cycling
can anyone confirm or deny- Is Keegan human or ....?
The numbers don’t even seem human.
So the secrets out... Monster Energy drinks will win you races.
That has to be a sponsorship thing right!? No way these athletes are actually chugging energy drinks during a race lol, right?
@@trentonscism you'd be surprised how many pros consume energy drinks during competition.
Keegan's lungs need hydrogen instead of oxygen
Bizarre to ignore the entire cycling World Championships in favour of covering this small regional gravel race.
It's the TR USA bubble 😂
yea, lets get those artistic cycling folks on here!
NO Fan of SGV...KS is legit
Remco needs a team mate like Sepp Kuss. If I was Quickstep, I'd be calling.

Wow! Nate must have apologized to Sofía to get her to return to the podcast. Probably not… but Sofía is a bigger person than that!
What did he say to her?

@@LukeGJPotteryeah, he was way over his head in that one. She had to know that.
