I actually don't like the cover I have for the first book - it has Katniss on the cover and I'm not a fan, though Catching Fire and Mockinjay just have a mockingjay, which I like :)
Little Book Owl you should watch the original japanese live action movie first.... the netflix one coming out is a completely whitewashed version as far as i saw from the trailer
I loooove VEDA so much, it is so fun to watch your videos just before going to sleep ahh! You recommended so many books on my TBR and now I'm even more excited to read them all!! Thank you for this awesome video, I love it (as well as all your others obviously) ♥
Would look forward to a video telling us what series you are looking forward to starting or have read the first book / you are in the middle of reading ! Lovely video and I got some great ideas of books I haven't herd of yet ! Thanks
I loved the Lunar Chronicles as well, though I wasn't sure if I would make it through Cinder at first it was slow going at the beginning. Also loved Shatter me Trilogy, Snow like Ashes trilogy and many more.
Yesssss Illuminae! I've seen the books brushed over on other Booktube channels, but no one ever giving them the love they deserve. Glad you like them too! (My bet is the 3rd book will be green)
Have you read Tamora Pierce's other quartets/duologies? Alana's quartet was the first Pierce books I read, but my favorite is Daine's quartet, The Immortals. I love Daine and her abilities... and it was really fun to see Alana and many of the characters from her series show up in it. :) I didn't expect it the first time I read them so it was a nice surprise! I love all of the Tortall books, really. I enjoy the Emelan books as well, but since most of those are a bit more juvenile, I enjoy the Tortall universe more.
I am dyingggg for an Illuminae 3 cover/title. Hope they have a launch party in Sydney, or if not, at least for Godsgrave :) I also bought Full Metal Alchemist Vol 1-3 because of you, can't wait to start it!
THEY ARE ANNOUNCING ILLUMINAE 3's TITLE TODAY!!!O!J!J#AJBFASDKI hope they do, too! I'm also so happy that Amie will be at SWF, so that's also exciting.I hope you enjoy FMA :D
Check Amie's Twitter, they've postponed title reveal :( Will definitely look into SWF, but I usually never go cos all my IRL friends hate books so RIP me haha
I love that you added manga. You're awesome :) Manga were the first books I got into reading so it's great to see them get credit from a book reviewer ^-^ without manga, I'd still hate reading thanks to school. Also, careful watching Death Note. The ones I've seen had slightly different endings that could possibly bug those that were a fan of how the manga ended ( such was the case with me )
Wondering when a Vicious sequel is ever coming out, Schwab is prioritizing her other series before it (though I do prefer her other series over Vicious). Maybe once her Monsters of Verity series is finished, Vicious sequel may come out. Some of my recent favs so far (aside from ones you have mentioned) include Firebird series by Claudia Gray, Wrath & the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh, Saga by Brian K Vaughan, All for the Game by Nora Sakavic
In terms of recently read series, the Six of Crows/Crooked Kingdom duology is on my list of favorites. Really great writing, amazing characters, wonderful worldbuilding, etc etc. The Wars of Light and Shadow series by Janny Wurts is beautifully written, but also very long - I think it's at 9 books so far and still not done. The first book is Curse of the Mistwraith. Epic fantasy. The series is about two brothers, Arithon and Lysaer, and the war between them after they get magically cursed. The Ravenor trilogy by Dan Abnett is set in the Warhammer 40K universe, so it's very dystopian sci-fi. Ravenor is an Imperial Inquisitor and a high-level psyker, and he and his team uncover conspiracies and try to stop cults and demons. The Codex Alera by Jim Butcher is really great as well(I think you've read several of these?). It starts off kind of slow, but by the end of book 6 it's pretty much hugely epic fantasy(book 4 is probably my favorite - Captain's Fury, I think it was?).
you could actually watch the first anime adaption of FMA if you've read through vol. 12. When it was made the manga series was still ongoing so while they adapted the first few volumes faithfully they ultimately had to change the story arc and a lot of information so they could finish the series instead of it just being a filler series, like Bleach and other extremely long anime series. Basically, watching the original anime at that point won't spoil the rest of the manga or FMA Brotherhood! It just might be a bit confusing since things are explained differently between the anime and the manga.
Hey Littlebookowl! I am Australian too and I grew up loving the Tomorrow When The War Began series. It is so so so amazing!!! It is written by an Australian author and set in Australia. It is so well written and honestly one of the best series ever, in my opinion:))
I love the Death Note anime show! Also I see you read the Code Name Verity series, which I read awhile ago, and I just found out that there is another one in the series that just came out in May called the Pearl Thief. It is a prequel about another girl, not Verity.
I listened to, and loved, Elizabeth Wein's books. The first book as an audiobook was amazing, as well. The prequel about Julie is coming out soon, which makes me excited!
great to hear your opinion on the thg trilogy! It's still my fav dystopian, too, and I also loved Mockingjay, especially after I re-read it! Also, YESS, Captain Thorne!!!
Since you've listed two manga series, I thought I'd recommend one: Bungou Stray Dogs. It's about a detective agency of gifted agents, and it's really cool since the characters are based off real-life authors and their "gifts" are named after the author's most famous work. It's amazing, full of action and interesting characters and I totally recommend it :)
I loved the Infernal Devices trilogy. You definitely should read it :) And YESSS, the Kingkiller Chronicle, Harry Potter, Death Note, and Hunger Games(including Mockingjay) series are FANTASTIC. Gonna pick my next series from your list, a lot of good recommendations! And a really great job with daily videos, thumbs-up.
I have a lot of recommendations but as always for more manga - A silent voice and Mars also Fruits basket Soulless by Jacinta Maree is a great dystopian. Rent Tent and Claudia Daughter of Rome are also some I'd highly recommend.
Oh, loved the list. The Lunar Chronicles was a sneaky one, creeping into my favourites list. And The Kingkiller Chronicle... What can one say about it? It's just fantastic. Have you read "The Slow Regard of Silent Things" and "The Lightning Tree"? If not, you REALLY should. As for recommendations, those are kinda basic, but Discworld, by Terry Pratchett (specially the City Watch, Witches and Death subseries) shoud go now to the top of your list. they are both classic and amazing. Also, my heart has a soft spot for The Dresden Files books, by Jim Butcher. I'm currently reading the third book of The Wheel of Time, by Robert Jordan and they are marvelous. :)
I don’t know if you have read the rest of Tamora Pierce books but they are amazing. She has many series in the tortall world. You get to know the world even better than just in the lioness series. You also get to know more about happens with the characters in those books. I love them so much and they are a reread that is so nice. I would love to see you review them.
My absolute favourite series right now is The Gentleman Bastard series (the first book being The Lies of Locke Lamora) because I honestly think it's the best fantasy book I've read so far and it will be quite hard to top. I've also read Name of the Wind and I honestly like Lamora's story much more, which is saying something. It's so intriguing and complex, I just love it to death. Another series that holds a special place in my heart is the Gallagher Girls series (starting from the second book) because it's the phrase "girls supporting girls" in book form and also features a really awesome school for spies. What's not to love?
I'd recommend reading the Kane Chronicles as you seem to enjoy books that contain magic, fantasy and adventure, just as I do! Love your videos btw, recently subscribed!
You really should read The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson. It's right up there with The Kingkiller Chronicles as one of the greatest series ever written.
When will Rothfuss publish his vol. 3 of Kingkiller Chronicles? a) c. 2020 b) c. 2027 c) c. 2035 d) never Yeah. C'mon Pat. A truncated torso of a series won't do.
Hahahaha oh man, that's a hilarious description. Trying not to laugh too loud since I'm in a library, but man. This comment made my day (except for the reminder that we may never get book 3) :D
You're welcome Catriona. My guess is both the delay & the eventual publishing of book 3 are both bound up in this project deadline.com/2016/11/lin-manuel-miranda-the-kingkiller-chronicle-movie-tv-show-1201861224/
Life is not like one of these storys, you know. It is not a fairy tale. So 3 act - storylines can end up as a unfinished 2 Book-story. ( It is a horrible idea, isn't it? :)
The dystopian trilogy genre is a little played out, but if you ever find yourself wanting to read one again the Legend Trilogy by Marie Lu is fantastic. Oh! And the Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy is wonderful. Lani Taylors writing is magical. Its a sort of a paranormal fantasy.
Death Note sounds very interesting to me and I have not heard too much about it! I will have to look into picking it up soon! And I LOVE the Illuminae Files ... and the name for the new book is being released tomorrow!
I would be interested to hear your thoughts on Homeland by R.A. Salvatore. it's a fantasy book I read in high school and I've been continuing it ever since. I believe it's a dungeons and dragons book.
That Harry Potter case is absolutely amazing :O Defo agree with your opinions on the Lunar Chronicles. Also, WHEN will the Kingkiller Chronicles conclude!? So much sadness in waiting for it to appear.
Hi! Did you think or did you read Kushiel's legacy from Jaqueline Carey? I loved it and also the other books from the Kushiel series.... maybe worth trying if you didn't ...
for Fullmetal alchemist I would recommend watching brotherhood. it is more faithful to the manga series, where the original anime kinda strays away around the final third (granted the manga wasn't finished yet when the anime caught up)
This has made me really want to read some series haha! I hardly ever do because commitment 😂 I want to read the name of the wind bit I'm scared to start it before the 3rd book is released
Sorry if this has already been suggested but I think you would like The Black Magician's trilogy by Trudi Canavan as well as the Noughts and Crosses series by Malorie Blackmam.
Wow, I think I would enjoy this Illuminae books... I don't know If I will be able to find them here in Brazil, but i'll look for it, even If I have to get the eBook. We have a very similar taste so I love seeing your videos to get recomendations and to pratice my english - sorry If I wrote something wrong. kisses, If u ever come to Rio de Janeiro let me know 😘
Yeeeeesss Kingkiller Chronicles! I read both books for the first time this year, and I loved them so much. Definitely among my favourites. Other favourites of mine are the His Dark Materials series by Philip Pullman and the Chaos Walking trilogy by Patrick Ness.
I don't really know what my favorite book series is but the Red Rising series has currently topped the list. I'm not sure if you've read it but it honestly topped hunger games for me. It's SO so so GOOD. And its getting a sequel trilogy. What could be better?
The darkest part of the forest by Holly Black is amazing. It is kind of a retelling of sleeping beauty except with a sleeping elf prince and it is very dark and twisted. Not really a retelling but i image sleep beauty influenced the story. It is amazing
I don´t know if you already have the books, but I recommend the "Daughter of Smoke and Bone" trilogy by Laini Taylor. I'm still reading the third book, but so far it's amazing.
did you read mockingjay continuously with catching fire? I think that's why I hated Mockingjay because I read it in one sitting with Catching Fire and it just disappointed. maybe if I space out the books a bit I would like it better so I'm not directly comparing to Catching Fire which is fantastic.
I liked Mockingjay too! I often seem to like the books other people dislike *cough* Allegiant *cough*. FMA is one of my favourite anime and manga series ever
You should definitely watch Fullmetal Alchemist as an anime. They have done an incredible job at both versions ( sub and dub). The first series in 2003 was more focused on the characters and from a point on it deviated from the Manga. FMA Brotherhood is the faithful adaption of the Manga. Personally I love them both. (P. S. Your chanel is amazing. Keep the good work up!)
Off the top of my head a couple of favourite series would be Red Rising (trilogy) by Pierce Brown (dystopian sci fi fantasy..on an epic scale) and so far, Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archives series has been great.
I'm watching this video and realizing how many of these series I've started/bought because of you and ... wow you have some influence on me haha. I would have to add the Shades of Magic series by V. E. Schwab as a fave! I can't wait for the third Illuminae book and I'm going to reread the other two before hand and then probably die because those books are So Good. Plus I plan on reading the first FMA bind up for the tome topple readathon so I'm super excited for that. How's VEDA going for you rn?
:D Well, I hope you've enjoyed those I've inspired you to pick up! I need the third Illuminae book and ASAP! I can't imagine how intense it will be!It's going pretty well, thanks for asking! I've got a few videos pre-filmed but soon I'll be running low and need to find time to film.
I have enjoyed them for sure! haha I know they were going to release the title today and then it got delayed and I'm just like x.x please. I'm sure it's been fun stressful, especially with work and uni. I guess all I can say is, you're doing great so far and I'm sure that anything you come up with for new videos will also be great. And hey, they don't even need to be solely about books! You could do a video about your hair journey and I'm sure we'd love it lol
Finally someone who likes Mockingjay..😊 I love Hunger Games and Mockingjay according to my opinion was a good action packed end to the dystopian trilogy.
Absolutely love the video! You should check out the movie/manga Psycho-Pass. I feel as if you would greatly enjoy it! It deals with a futuristic/dystopian Japan where it heavily relies on a computer system to determine where you fit in society
If you like stories with magic/fantastical elements, I highly recommend The Old Kingdom trilogy by Garth Nix. It's more young adult but I loved the series and only read it a few years ago. And I LOVED Code Name Verity! One of the best WWII books I've ever read!
Every book series by Garth Nix is my top fave. At least the ones I have read. The Old Kingdom trilogy, The Seventh Tower series & Keys to the Kingdom series. The second two are considered children books and I read them a long time ago, but I still count them as faves. One day I will do a reread of them! Also Harry Potter will always be at the top for me. ;)
Love the Hungry Games series but The Lunar Chronicles is hands down my favorite of all time. I constantly recommend it as well as Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom, sooo good!
Sadly, Warbreakers sequel isn't on Sandersons list to write for quite a few more years :( Hopefully we'll see the final Kingkiller Chronicle soon...i've been more impatient for that book then I have for The Winds of Winter lol.
I am not excited for The Winds of Winter. I did not like the last 2 books, specially the 4th one kinda sucked. I have found Sanderson, Rothfuss and such since then so Martin doesn't really hold a torch to them anymore.
Have you read The Split Worlds series by Emma Newman? If not, I highly recommend it, the fifth and last book comes out this year. Lots of feminism and goodness. 😊 I am very excited to read the ending!
Catriona, have you read Stars Above by Marissa Meyer? It is the true final "book" in the Lunar Chronicles and IT IS AMAZING! It collects both previously released LC stories and at least four new ones. . . And the new ones? F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S!!! Especially one in particular, which is the continuation of events AFTER WINTER! :-) So basically, I cannot recommend Stars Above highly enough. :-) Fairest is also worth a read, if you haven't read it. (It's Queen Levana's story.) If you have not read Fairest, I would suggest a reread of the series: Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, Fairest, Winter, Stars Above. (Though most of the stories in Stars Above could be read as either prequels or interspersed between the books. I read them all in the "per the Recommended Order" last year.) My own favorite order is Cinder, Cress, Scarlet, Winter. And I LOVE Captain Carswell Thorne! He is MINE, tell you! ALL MINE!!! *bwahahaha* :-)
My favorite series to read/reread are Urban Fantasy: 1) Anita Blake by Laurell K. Hamilton (I have read Book One, Guilty Pleasures, upwards of *30* times! And I do not mind The Change that happened in/after Book Ten. For me, it was just all a part of Anita's growth as a character, though I do sometimes skim the sex scenes. STILL need to read #25, though. * sigh *) 2) Kate Daniels by Ilona Andrews (Book Nine, Magic Binds, D-E-S-T-R-O-Y-E-D me. I was absolutely devastated when I finished it. It was SOOO GOOD!!! But still, Book Five, Magic Slays, is my favorite.) Honorable mention goes to The Hollows by Kim Harrison (though I need to read the last couple of books), October Daye by Seanan McGuire (bought but have not - yet! - read the most recent book in this one), Mercy Thompson by Patricia Briggs, the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer, the Others by Anne Bishop, and Jane Yellowrock by Faith Hunter. :-) All of the above named are series I have read - mostly - in their entirety. :-)
The name of the wind is in my top 2 books i have ever read (the two books are equal placement) the other would have to be Inkheart (holds such a special place) and the kingkiller chronicles is in my top 4 series of all times.... (also included Deltora Quest due to epic nostalgia. Harry potter obviously xD and a series that isnt always well known... called The witches of Eilenan, by Kate Forsyth......hands down my favourite Wiccan styled story telling series..... so amazing... set in scottish history but in another world..... is just amazing.) i always recommend these two people looking for a good fantasy to read
We have so many favorites in common! I recommend the Death Note Japanese live action (not the Netflix one ugh). The Japanese live action movie is fantastic, it changes the ending in a very interesting way, it's very well done.
I love your covers of The Hunger Games trilogy!!
I need to read Death Note UGH
YES THE LUNAR CHRONICLES
I actually don't like the cover I have for the first book - it has Katniss on the cover and I'm not a fan, though Catching Fire and Mockinjay just have a mockingjay, which I like :)
And yes. You do need to read Death Note. They are doing a live-action movie on Netflix soon I think as well!
Little Book Owl you should watch the original japanese live action movie first.... the netflix one coming out is a completely whitewashed version as far as i saw from the trailer
Little Book Owl death note anime is the best
I loooove VEDA so much, it is so fun to watch your videos just before going to sleep ahh! You recommended so many books on my TBR and now I'm even more excited to read them all!! Thank you for this awesome video, I love it (as well as all your others obviously) ♥

I'm so glad to be seeing your videos in my sub box again! You were one of the first booktubers that I found and I enjoy your channel so much. 😊😊
Bless you, you are the first book tuber that has mentioned Tamora Peirce in any form. Thank you!
I loved the Lunar Chronicles as well, though I wasn't sure if I would make it through Cinder at first it was slow going at the beginning.

I have to say, I love the Lunar Chronicles a lot as well. But your least favourite, Scarlet, was actually my favourite 😅
Olivia's Catastrophe same ❤️
Roda Mo finally, someone who also liked Scarlet like me! 😉❤️
My favourite is Scarlet also!
Scarlet was my favorite too! I loved it so much!
Same
I listened to, and loved, Elizabeth Wein's books. The first book as an audiobook was amazing, as well. The prequel about Julie is coming out soon, which makes me excited!
I liked Mockingjay too, you're not alone!
rylee vadenais mockingjay is my favorite book in the trilogy! I don't get why some people don't like it!
great to hear your opinion on the thg trilogy! It's still my fav dystopian, too, and I also loved Mockingjay, especially after I re-read it!
Also, YESS, Captain Thorne!!!
Omg I really want to read all of these series now😍 mainly because they sound super good but also because I try to read everything you recommend😂

Really enjoying these daily videos!
That's awesome that you listed manga in your favs. Mars by Fuyumi Soryo is one of my favorite manga series.
I dunno if you've read them yet but Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson is one of my all time fave series. Just.. it's so good.
I finished The Lunar Chronicles in like a week and a half, it was so good!
I loved the Infernal Devices trilogy. You definitely should read it :)
And YESSS, the Kingkiller Chronicle, Harry Potter, Death Note, and Hunger Games(including Mockingjay) series are FANTASTIC.
Gonna pick my next series from your list, a lot of good recommendations!

hey have you read the house of night series by P. C Cast and Kristin Cast?
I was not familiar with the Illuminae series at all but that sounds awesome, just put a hold on the series at my library!
I'd recommend reading the Kane Chronicles as you seem to enjoy books that contain magic, fantasy and adventure, just as I do! Love your videos btw, recently subscribed!
Have you read the other Tamora Pierce books? They're so good!!!
I'm sad because we were supposed to get the third Iluminae book title today but it got pushed back! 😩😫

We have a very similar taste so I love seeing your videos to get recomendations and to pratice my english - sorry If I wrote something wrong.
kisses, If u ever come to Rio de Janeiro let me know 😘
Have you read the companion Death Note novels? They take place before and after the manga/anime series.
Have you read Temeraire Series by Naomi Novik ? Great series!!! would love to her what you think.
Yeeeeesss Kingkiller Chronicles! I read both books for the first time this year, and I loved them so much. Definitely among my favourites. Other favourites of mine are the His Dark Materials series by Philip Pullman and the Chaos Walking trilogy by Patrick Ness.
xD "Oh my goodness, Captain Thorn. Damn" xD I love you! did you read Fairest and Stars Above since they've come out ?!
I think you might enjoy reading mistborn and stormlight archives by Brandon Sanderson
Okay so v important question: where did you get that choker???
Speaking of childhood books, I remember reading Deltora Quest back in years 5 and 6 😂😂
I don´t know if you already have the books, but I recommend the "Daughter of Smoke and Bone" trilogy by Laini Taylor. I'm still reading the third book, but so far it's amazing.
I CANNOT wait long enough to read again about Victor Vale from Vicious in Vengeful by V.E. Schwab. (and that's a lot of Vs)
did you read mockingjay continuously with catching fire? I think that's why I hated Mockingjay because I read it in one sitting with Catching Fire and it just disappointed. maybe if I space out the books a bit I would like it better so I'm not directly comparing to Catching Fire which is fantastic.
So many fantastic series on this list. The Lunar Chronicles is so brilliant!
You've got the box collection nice
I liked Mockingjay too! I often seem to like the books other people dislike *cough* Allegiant *cough*.
FMA is one of my favourite anime and manga series ever
Ahhhhhh, the way you say manga! 😂 Loved the video though!
Off the top of my head a couple of favourite series would be Red Rising (trilogy) by Pierce Brown (dystopian sci fi fantasy..on an epic scale)
and so far, Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archives series has been great.
Please read and do a review on "shade of vampire" by Bella Forest
It's so good to see some Tamora Pierce love!
Finally someone who likes Mockingjay..😊
I love Hunger Games and Mockingjay according to my opinion was a good action packed end to the dystopian trilogy.
IM SO HAPPY YOU BROUGHT UP FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST
Absolutely love the video!
You should check out the movie/manga Psycho-Pass. I feel as if you would greatly enjoy it! It deals with a futuristic/dystopian Japan where it heavily relies on a computer system to determine where you fit in society
Sorry I misspoke. It's not a movie but a anime series :)
Also Harry Potter will always be at the top for me. ;)
isnt there an anime based on the full metal alchemist i feel like I've heard of it as one.
Try reading Food Wars, Tokyo Ghoul and Psycome manga (also anime series) they are fantastic reads!
Just scanned my series shelf for recommendations--have you read the His Dark Materials books by Philip Pullman?
Good News new Dark Material's books being written
Paul Winchell Get out! And with new movies on the way! This is the best news xD
I know you have mentioned the Alanna series a few times and if you haven't read of of Tamora Pierce's other works you NEED to!!!
I plan on watching Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood but I've been told I shouldn't bother with the other series...
My favourite series is defiantly the Shatter Me series!!! Omggg I love it so much
I loved the ending of Mockingjay! So I’m right there with you!
Love the Hungry Games series but The Lunar Chronicles is hands down my favorite of all time. I constantly recommend it as well as Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom, sooo good!
Ahhh I NEED to read Six of Crows! I've heard so many good things about it!
😊 I am very excited to read the ending!
is throne of glass series not in your favs?
The Illuminae Files is definitely one of my favorite series as well!
So basically, I cannot recommend Stars Above highly enough. :-)
Fairest is also worth a read, if you haven't read it. (It's Queen Levana's story.) If you have not read Fairest, I would suggest a reread of the series: Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, Fairest, Winter, Stars Above. (Though most of the stories in Stars Above could be read as either prequels or interspersed between the books. I read them all in the "per the Recommended Order" last year.)
My own favorite order is Cinder, Cress, Scarlet, Winter. And I LOVE Captain Carswell Thorne! He is MINE, tell you! ALL MINE!!! *bwahahaha*
:-)
My favorite series to read/reread are Urban Fantasy:
1) Anita Blake by Laurell K. * sigh *)
2) Kate Daniels by Ilona Andrews (Book Nine, Magic Binds, D-E-S-T-R-O-Y-E-D me. I was absolutely devastated when I finished it. It was SOOO GOOD!!! But still, Book Five, Magic Slays, is my favorite.)
Honorable mention goes to The Hollows by Kim Harrison (though I need to read the last couple of books), October Daye by Seanan McGuire (bought but have not - yet! - read the most recent book in this one), Mercy Thompson by Patricia Briggs, the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer, the Others by Anne Bishop, and Jane Yellowrock by Faith Hunter. :-)
All of the above named are series I have read - mostly - in their entirety. :-)
The name of the wind is in my top 2 books i have ever read (the two books are equal placement) the other would have to be Inkheart (holds such a special place)
and the kingkiller chronicles is in my top 4 series of all times.... (also included Deltora Quest due to epic nostalgia. Harry potter obviously xD and a series that isnt always well known... called The witches of Eilenan, by Kate Forsyth......hands down my favourite Wiccan styled story telling series..... so amazing... set in scottish history but in another world..... is just amazing.)
i always recommend these two people looking for a good fantasy to read
I just stumbled onto The Twixt series by Dawn Metcalf and I love it. The worldbuilding is intricate and the characters are well developed.
I would highly recommend The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan; also, pick up anything else written by Brandon Sanderson.
We have so many favorites in common! I recommend the Death Note Japanese live action (not the Netflix one ugh). The Japanese live action movie is fantastic, it changes the ending in a very interesting way, it's very well done.
My husband's obsessed with Full Metal Alchemist but I've never heard anyone else mention them before!
I loved Death Note and Fullmetal Alchemist :) and if Im correct, i think FMA has a light novel series too, which is supposed to be as good
I suggest watching both FMA anime. FMA first then FMAB. :)
Where do you get your manga in Australia? :) xx
I get them from a store called Kinokuniya! They have a huge selection of manga & graphic novels :)
Thanks Hun xx 😄
