I'm so grateful for the Harry Potter series. Those books started my love for books. I was in a bad place and just as I thought my life could never get any better, there came Hogwarts. After that my love grew for books and has continued to this day. I owe so much to those books
The lunar chronicles is one of my face series but I haven't read fairest but it's ok I'm currently reading the Percy Jackson series and I'm in love with them
I completely agree with your statements on Harry Potter! I hate reading fantasy but Harry Potter takes up such a huge part of my life and I just love it so much.
+Pien You could always go to the library, and then decide which series are worth purchasing after reading the books! That way, you'll own copies of your favorites, but don't need to waste money on books that you might not even end up liking (:
Heir of Fire is my favorite in the Throne of Glass series. I agree it is a bridge book but so much did happen. It was such a turning point for the direction of the series IMO.
Stumbled upon this video because I'm looking for some completed YA series to read in 2021! I also follow you on Instagram but thought I would give BookTube a try! Most of these series are already on my TBR but it was still fun to listen to you talk about them! Multiple people have told me to give Cassandra Clare another chance! I'm also interested in Cinder!
yes I agree with you so much. THROWN OF GLASS SERIES is amazing, right now I'm reading crown of midnight. I have them all in paper and not hardcover. one of the newest book is EMPIRE OF STORMS.
I’ve read Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus, Hunger Games, Divergent, Maze Runners, Twilight, Trials of Apollo, Harry Potter, School for Good and Evil, Spy School, Keeper of the Lost Cities, Land of Stories, Fablehaven, the Selection, and am currently on the sixth book of Mortal Instruments. Love them all! Percy Jackson and Heroes of Olympus are my favs because they were like the first GOOD series that I read!
In my opinion, the Raven Boys quartet was a huge build up only to be let down in the end when they spilled that the 'legend' was just that, a legend, and they were running around for nothing. My favorite in this series would be Dream Thieves because the mystery surrounding the silent guy was interesting.
Series I have to read: Raven boys The lunar chronicles Harry Potter Twilight Divergent (Fallen) > maybe The summer I turned pretty The chronicles of Narnia Miss Peregrine's home for peculiar children ^ there's a ton more but these are on my priority list right now 😂 Series I loved so far: PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS !! Heroes of Olympus The trials of Apollo To all the boys I've loved before The hunger games The selection TRILOGY ( the last two were shit *trust me on this* ) The girl who never was Series that are average: The mortal instruments ^this is so over hyped ... or maybe it's just my high expectations....
Sandra Ibarra I am reading them now ... I am in the first book. And I would say go for it !!! Get back to you when I finished them all . But the to all the boys I loved Trilogy is really amazing!!!
Sandra Ibarra omg !!! You have to read it !!! I finished the first two in a day !!! It's that good ! And I also re read the first two books before I read the third book and I still love it just as much !!!
i love series so much! I love recommendations and reviews for them! Im currently marathoning Throne of Glass because of friends and book tube and I love it!! Thanks for all the recommendations
I'm currently reading Cress out of the Lunar Chronicles, and I absolutely love it. I read the first two books within a week to two weeks. The concept behind this series is just so unique and interesting. The characters are also very easy to connect with, and has good character development. A highly recommended read. I really love the Throne of Glass series, one of my favorite things about it were the characters. I'm a sucker for character development. I've finished reading Queen of Shadows a month ago, and I still find myself thinking about what's going to happen to them, and missing them. I do notice the problems you mentioned though, but for me personally the characters make up for it.
😍Selection series 😍After series by Anna 😍Fallen by Lauren kate .... Give them a try too💖💖 Currently I'm on third book of Hunger Games.. I'm loving it tooo💕💕
I am so excited to have found your channel omg 😍😍😍 books are my love, I am currrently applying at all of the bookstores in my town for a job while I'm finishing my last few years of uni :)
I really really like the House of Night series by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast, I enjoyed them so much. I also liked The chemical garden trilogy by Lauren DeStefano, it made me think.
Of the selection of Book Series in this video, I have 3 of the shown collections. Harry Potter, Percy Jackson & The Heroes Of Olympus. I'm not at the finish yet, however I am enjoying the road of reading these and I will motivate myself to keep on going till I reach the end and I will stay positive from start to finish. Thanks for the recommedations Hailey, I'll think about books I want to read in the future.
Im currently ready the orderof the phoenix and im not gonna lie im finding it hard to get through i dont know if that because im in a slump or what ever but I actually loved the first 4 books especially the prisoner of azkaban and that was my favourite book
You definitely need to read Maggie Stiefvater's other works if you like The Raven Cycle. The Wolves of Mercy Falls series is absolutely fantastic - The Books of Faerie series is great as well, not as strong as her other works but still a fun and quick read!
I'm reading Winter atm (I read the rest of the Lunar Chronicles before obviously) and OMG is it good! I love a lot of the series that you mention here :)!
I'm on the second book of the mortal instruments series and I'm about half way through it and I am already obsessed and after the first book I had to just take a break from the series and I started reading the 5th wave trilogy which I am extremely on brink about
I think I've read all of those series you mentioned, I love a good series. One of my current favourite ongoing series is the Chronicles of St Mary's series by Jodi Taylor, the first one being Just One Damned Thing After Another, it's about time traveling historians and is super funny, really quirky and quite "typically British" which I like (a cup of tea can solve any problem!) I'm also in the middle of a load of series which I need to finish, the Lorien Legacies, Codex Alera, the Dragonian series to name just a few.
Love rick rioridan!!!! And the Victorian spies sounds so good! And the lunar ones sounds great! Could you do a video on audiobooks if you haven’t already lol.
Would you recommend the Harry Potter series for ALL ages? I've seen and loved the movies, but for some reason have never read the books... Also p.s. - The Throne of Glass series is the absolute BEST of all time! Also, is there any romance in the last Rick Riordan series you showed? And totally keep reading the mortal instruments series, especially the spin offs! They really are all amazing!
With Harry Potter, I never read a single page before a couple of months ago. I didn't watch the movies either so I just knew the basic plot and a few spoilers about people dying. I have no idea why I waited so long but I've just finished Order of the Phonix and am saving up for Half Blood prince and I absolutely love it! It's definitely my favourite series and I really regret avoiding it when I was younger!
Finally I find a UA-camr who loves all the series I love. You pronounced Rick Riordan right. You should read Kane Chronicles, Magnus Chase and Trials of Apollo series by Rick Riordan too. They are amazing! There's also A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket. I highly recommend it.
I was reading the Lunar Chronicles. I loved the first two books, but when I got to Cress it seemed to drag and now I can't make myself pick it back up.
The Tiger's Curse series has been one of my favorites since I was like 11. I've read it almost 20 times and am actually rereading it again lol(I'm almost 19 now).
Elif Su im half way through Cress, but not loving it that much. I actually haven't finished yet and it's been a year. Im just not clicking with Cress, which sucks because I want to read Winter so bad!!! Loved Cinder though and I'm missing her as a character!!!
All this time, I thought I would hate the Raven Cycle! No one wanted to tell me much about it, and I didn't care enough to look it up myself. It actually sounds really good.
My most recommended series would be the School for Good and Evil books. I've read the first three and they are brilliant. It's about a school that teaches students how to survive and win fairytales, depending on they're side. It follows two friends that get separated and their story. It had some really famous villains and hero's in it at some points. It's brilliant and always keeps you guessing.
You have to read the 'Once Upon A Time' series which are usually retellings of fairy tales featuring a teenaged heroine and it's written by various authors
I for one love the Ranger's Apprentice series by John Flanagan. they are so good. But you will have to read past the first one because some people say that it's kinda slow or something but it don't think so but don't stop reading after the first one just keep going and trust me it gets better.

I'm so grateful for the Harry Potter series. Those books started my love for books. I was in a bad place and just as I thought my life could never get any better, there came Hogwarts. After that my love grew for books and has continued to this day. I owe so much to those books
Same! I used to struggle a lot and hate books... Dobby really saved me...
The lunar chronicles is one of my face series but I haven't read fairest but it's ok I'm currently reading the Percy Jackson series and I'm in love with them
The Percy Jackson is AMAZING, so is the Lunar chronicles, who is your OTP from the Percy Jackson series? (Have you finished?)
yup! I love percy, he's just so entrancing and magical and fantastic!
Ok but the lunar chronicles is great

YES. I'm so happy you're not deterred by others people hate. Throne of Glass is my absolute FAVORITE series!!
Cress, in my opinion, was the best in the lunar chronicles. The story just grew so much, and it was hard to not like the main characters.
I realllllly wanna read almost all of these series (besides harry potter bc i already read those twice) but money is low :(
You can go to a library. :)
true that, but i really wanna own these books too :(
+Pien You could always go to the library, and then decide which series are worth purchasing after reading the books! That way, you'll own copies of your favorites, but don't need to waste money on books that you might not even end up liking (:
that's such a good idea!! thanks!
I totally feel the same. I can only get so many books 😢
The selection series is such a great series. I finished each book in one day. They were short but amazing.
