I decided to start uploading my third book to youtube, maybe in a wrong move. If you have time could you read it? I would really appreciate some comments.
This is a perfect video for me right now!! I've said how I've wanted to get more into fantasy books and then this video comes along:D thanks for the recommendations Sasha, can't wait to find out more about them! ❤️
I literally just hauled Touch of Power (I had it years ago but it disappeared somehow???) so I'm super excited to read it! I really recommend reading Nevernight or Lips Touch: Three Times by Laini Taylor!!
I haven't read any of these and I have to agree that I MUST read these!!!!! I got Truthwitch not too long ago and I'm soooo looking forward to it!!! and also falling Kingdoms! Especially knowing that every book just keeps getting better!!! The first book you mentioned sounds sooooooooo interesting also and unlike anything I have read before :)
You should read a series called The Medoran Chronicles by Australian author Lynette Noni. The first book is Akarnae and it's basically a Harry Potter and Chronicles of Narnia crossover. It's so good!!!
Falling Kingdoms is one of my favorite series ever! I love the background, the characters... I can't wait for Crystal Storm to come out. Magnus and Cleo are amazing! I'm really happy you recommended this series. ❤ I think not to much people know about it, so it's really good that you recommend it :D
Your energy and enthusiasm are infectious! Great work! Fantasy is my all time fave genre and I love to dive right into a mystical world! Feist and Martin rock!
Have you read THESE BROKEN STARS? If not - DO IT!!!! It's the first novel of the STARBOUND series and it's so wonderful and amazing and beautiful and captivating 😍😍😍😍
TAMORA PIERCE!!!!!!! She has two worlds she writes in, Tortall and Emelan. The land of Tortall is my personal favorite so GO START READING THE SONG OF THE LIONESS QUARTET BY TAMORA PIERCE!!! Alanna: The First Adventure, In the Hands of the Goddess, The Woman Who Rides Like a Man, and Lioness Rampant
I definitely recommend the Inheritance Cycle (Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr, Inerhitance) this series is amazing, like there's dragons, magic, badass girls and FRICKIN DRAGONS!
Ten... Pretty hard task! Okay: Never Let Me Go - Kazuo Ishiguro The Neverending Story - Michael Ende Clan of the Cave Bear - Jean. M. Auel Elfhunter - C.S. Marks (fantasy trilogy) Empire - Michael R. Hicks Harry Potter (book 3 or 5) Kushiel's Dart - Jacqueline Carey (not actually my favorite, but the first book) They are all something else.. The Secret History - Donna Tartt The Brothers Lionheart - Astrid Lindgren The Ice People (a long series, my favorite books in it is 1,2 and five.) - Margit Sandemo Did it!!
I don't read YA but falling kingdom sounds very interesting. If any one want to read good high fantasy with incredible worldbuilding, awesome magic system, unexpected plot twists, and amazing characters, I certainly recommend all Brandon Sanderson novels. Plus he write SUPER fast (3 new novels, 2 novellas, 1 graphic novel and 1 anthology in 2016 alone)
six of crows is written like falling kingdom (based off your review) I would SERIOUSLY recommend if you like 18-19th century London vibes and a little fantasy
I love Touch of Power would recommend her other series as well as they are all so good!! Also LOVE Graceling it's one of my first fantasy books which got me into the genre :) I have recently read Ember in the Ashes which I really enjoyed and I think others would too. Another I've read was Snow like Ashes, I liked that one as well so am looking forward to reading the next in these series :) :) and for those who haven't, read THRONE OF GLASS!! You won't be disappointed :) am on Holiday at the moment but have ordered Empire of Storms which is waiting for me at home and I can't wait to read it!!!! 😱 by the way Love you Sasha, have recently started following you and am not disappointed! Have read so many great books because of you so THANK YOU!! :) x
I was pretty hyped for the touch of power... until you spoiled the entire book during the video, maybe give a touch of the story instead of telling the ENTIRE story...
Have you read the books of Leigh Bardugo? And not just Six of Crows (the most popular these days) {I can't wait for the sequel coming out this month), but The Grisha Trilogy. If you haven't, you should. That trilogy is perfection, mark my words. And if you have and you love them, I'll love you more than I do right now.
Truthwitch, Fallen Kingdoms, and Gracelng are already on my TBR list (thaks to some of your other videos). I'll be looking into Touch of Power. Whenever I'm feeling bored, I always come here for book suggestions. It's nice to talk (or listen) to someone you can relate to! P.S. I love the top you're wearing.
These contemporary book UA-camrs need to read the classics man. Ovid, Homer, some of the Caesars, and more recently the Austin's, Poe's, Dicken's and the like. William Morris is another golden oldy.
The Trylle trilogy by Amanda Hocking! It's about Trolls and Changelings. The story is quite captivating the writing style is okay but I love them! (and there's a spin off series called The Kanin Chronicles).
I... might read Maria V. Snyder's books. I don't know why I'm drawn to them. Also, there's no H in Snyder. A lot of people pronounce it Shnyder. I don't know why.
...wow...this is a pretty good video... though the first book seems kind of strange cause you either die or die...but I'm going to read all of them...and subscribing
My recommendation for coming of age, dystopian fantasy is "Vivian Amberville - The Weaver of Odds" by Louise Blackwick. It's a new and little known author, but the book has a fanbase of 2-3 million readers.Vivian Amberville is basically a masterpiece of the fantasy genre, in right league with George Martin, J.K.Rowling and Patrick Rothfuss. Vivian Amberville follows the story of a teenage girl who can manipulate the outcome of events. She can travel between dimensions and ultimately discovers she can reshape reality. The story mainly takes place in two worlds: one is a futuristic failed Great Britain, the other a fantasy realm where thoughts can be shaped into things. The masterpiece of this work is the multi-layered world the author created, the lifelike characters and the hidden messages in the story. A recommended read for fantasy and sci fi fans!
I think you should read the Tiger's Curse series. Then, my second recommandation would be a french canadian series called Knights of Emerald. Even tough there's a lot of books (12! or 27 if you read the Enkidiev's legacy and Knights of Antarès that follows this series) its really easy to get into it. I check and it has been translated in English. With TMI its the first serie that started my endless love for books. Also I wanted to say thank you because your videos really help me with my books choices and they make me happy :) My first language is french (Vive le Québec!) and we have english classes so you and other booktubers really help me out with my speaking
There are two books series that I love - 1 is The Darke Academy by Gabriella Poole (4 books) which is about a girl called Cassie who lives in a care home and she has just been accepted into this really expensive private school (that moves to a different country each term ^-^) on a scholarship. She and her new friend Isabella want to join this mysterious group in the school called The Few, the most beautiful and popular students in the school, however, The Few are not all they seem.... The 2nd is The Tiger's Curse series by Colleen Houck (currently 5 books) which is about a girl called Kelsey who lives with her guardians. During the summer before she starts college, Kelsey takes a summer job at a circus where she meets an extraordinary white tiger called Dhiren, however there is more to this tiger than meets the eye... Also, you should read all of Sophie McKenzie's books!!

I think you should read the Tiger's Curse series. Then, my second recommandation would be a french canadian series called Knights of Emerald. Even tough there's a lot of books (12! or 27 if you read the Enkidiev's legacy and Knights of Antarès that follows this series) its really easy to get into it.
