You are awesome thank you for sharing your experience with this tool I did the reverse accidentally and it got really weird I kind of hurt my hand so your comment really help me to understand what really happened. I was about to throw this tool away as I almost cut myself 😢

@@cetoolden Seeing it there is what led me to search UA-cam and Google for it. I was looking for videos exactly like this and couldn’t find it. There is no content matching the CMCM300 model number causing Google and UA-cam to auto-correct it to CMCS3000, which is a totally different tool. It would be a shame for you to miss out on other potential views when people are specifically looking for this!

@@cetoolden Yes, but YT has no results with or without the B (“bare tool”) so it auto-corrects to CMCS3000… which is a totally different tool. People looking for CMCM300 will not find yours even when they override the auto-correct. I know because I tried. :(

Not sure if you're using your phone to video this or another type of camera, but hope you can do a test and mark what is the minimum focussing distance of the camera so that you don't get blurry shots again in the future... most of the shots are out of focus. Too close to the camera's limits.

I'm using a go pro 11. it's a great camera but has it's flaws. hoping to upgrade on black friday to a sony model that will offer better features, but for now I will mostly use go pro or my cell phone camera.

I been wondering about the new CM line!? As they r supposed to be wayyy better and most made n USA now I think!?
And I DEF LOVE THE NEW LOOK OF THE CM TOOLS!!
But here I can't tell if its the tool or u or what!? But it or u def seemed to be having some major issues cutting here!?
Video and cuts could have been better!?
But I love the new look and I live it when they make these like a mini circ saw!? With the cover and guide etc!
Their much better priced and their batteries and chargers r priced rt there with Bauer I think to!?
Def would like to try out their new better platform I think!?

User error. It's me trying to push the tool. Don't try what I did. Let the tool do the job. I did it on purpose and it's not safe to do. Also the cutting disc wasn't the greatest. I much prefer the diablo. Cutting metal with this tool is something I won't ever really be doing. I have this tool for the multi material and masonry/ tiling purposes. But I will say this is one of the best cutoff tools on the market not branded Dewalt which is the best.

I have both the dewalt and this and they are neck and neck in power the one thing I like better on dewalt is the light is better but the craftsman has variable speed trigger the dewalt goes to top speed only

Take the foot and safety equipment off and use it freehand. I use this rig as my daily. It doesn't matter what disk you have. And it has plenty of power to push through metal as fast as you want. Just make sure you use a nice glove on your trigger finger. Those sparks come off that blade hot and fast. I can tell you don't cut much metal lol. I used to use an angle grinder as my go to. Until I bought that craftsman. In short. It's the best metal cutoff I've used
