It’s a hack I wouldn’t use, but I think that the stack drops down to the proper wrench size and the spade bit keeps it from falling past the smallest size. There are many places where you could tighten a bolt flush with that configuration, there isn’t always enough room to put in a stack of wrenches, and the extra weight would be both tiresome and cumbersome.

Even with a previously opened bottle, they had to do a hard cut with the camera to fake it. 🙄 just use any solid object you can use as a lever… put it under the rim of the cap….. hold the neck tight with your hand like you are choking your chicken to death…. Then use your first fist knuckle as a fulcrum and pry the cap off with your improvised tool. Bic lighters butt end work great. Don’t use anything you don’t want to scratch. Don’t break it. Just hold it like you choking the top off…… and stick something between your hand and the cap and pry it off. Should have a very satisfying POP sound.

If you try to take a bottle cap off with a shoe string on a new unopened bottle…. You gonna rip your shoe string and not get your bottle open. Even with a previously opened bottle, they had to do a hard cut with the camera to fake it. 🙄 just use any solid object you can use as a lever… put it under the rim of the cap….. hold the neck tight with your hand like you are choking your chicken to death…. Then use your first fist knuckle as a fulcrum and pry the cap off with your improvised tool. Bic lighters butt end work great. Don’t use anything you don’t want to scratch. Don’t break it.
Just hold it like you choking the top off…… and stick something between your hand and the cap and pry it off.
Should have a very satisfying POP sound.

I regret not having read some of the comments (at age 59!) before squandering ~120 unrecoverable seconds of my life watching this "Koyaanisqatsi" of shop safety & design anti-patterns, about which I would've rather died without knowing.
