Ive had mine for almost 2yrs now & its perfect for $107 total! My only question is can this do a firmware update? I noticed that a newer page from pioneer showing this receiver has different background images than the 2 that mine came with. I was wondering if thats an update but i cant find any available updates

At 2:10 your showing the USB slot, is there by any chance a slot for an SD card anywhere on the face of the unit. I have this model but it's pretty old but it has an SD card slot right next to the USB port. I load it with music and what I like about it is is doesn't stick out like a USB flash drive does. Nope, no SD card slot.
Why people keep asking about Apple this Android this and that. That's equipped on HIGH END head units people. Very few if any are on budget Head units. Meaning you have to pay for all the Bell's and Whistles to get that crap. This particular Head Unit I adore because I have what I want on it. Bluetooth, Aux, DVD, and boost adjusters. What more do you want. No need to be on the web while driving! Or exclusively connected to phone! 😳 Those extra distracting sources are not needed imo.

@@diosati8849 Honestly I never tried. Lol I do have the buttons there but never really use them. Especially with this after market head unit. Think I'll check and see tomorrow! I have so many perks and buttons I really don't use! Sports mode, traction control, wheel navigation etc.

So this unit has no LPF?
The listing said it was steering wheel control ready. But it doesn't have the option to turn it on. Is there more you have to buy because it was supposed to have the option and then you set it up without having to by extra.
It's ready for a connection to a swc module. The W/R (wired remote) input is where you'd connect your selected harness adapter steering wheel control module. Depends on your vehicle and what install parts you need to make that happen. If you send us a message on facebook, we can help you out there.
Can you connect 2 amplifiers to this radio? I want to use one 4 channel amplifier for speakers and 1 monoblock for subwoofer
You could yes, but you will not have a fader option if you just use the front RCA outputs for your 4 channel (would have to bridge the front and rears on the amp), and the two channel sub output to your mono amp. All depends on the amplifiers being used.
Hi does this support 360 degree camera. Want to change out the original head unit currently in Japanese and I don't speak or understand

You will need to reset your gains to the new radio. We recommend an SMD-DD1 to set your gains.

So I got the radio hooked up n it's playin from the speakers but the display screen keeps goin black and staying on there unless I reset it but then goes back to black wen I turn it on but still plays ??

That’s all relative (depends on speakers, acoustics, etc). This radio puts out about 20 watts rms of power to each channel. If you want more power, I suggest an external aftermarket amplifier.

No, a camera is optional.
everytime i connect to bluetooth then turn off my car, next time i try to connect to bluetooth it makes me forget the device and redo everything you would do connecting bluetooth the first time. is this normal?
your radio may not wired correctly and thus resetting every time you shut down the vehicle. Does your clock radio reset every time you turn on your car? It also could use a hard reset, or could be an issue with your phone.
Does this have the capability to connect rear dvd through the AV inputs?
Yes, there is a rear aux port that supports TRRS. I installed this stereo in my SUV.

No entiendo este radio en el aparece el bluetooth para hacer cambios pero en el mío aparece bloqueado y no puedo borrar los celulares viejos tengo que desconectar la batería tengo que buscar la manera de hacer un hard reset porque en este sistema que yo tengo que es el mismo hasta el hard reset aparece bloqueado no entiendo porqué

Is this USB C? Can I charge my phone using the USB port or is it just for input?
No USB C, only USB A input, but it does charge. Simply just get a USB A to C adapter and you are good to go!

I recently bought a car and it has that exact stereo and I’m trying to clear memory from Bluetooth and it won’t let me 😢. Please help idk what to do and it won’t let me go into Bluetooth settings
Parking brake must be applied (if it was installed correctly) to enable to bluetooth menu to clear the memory. If applying the brake (brake on, off, back on again) doesn't unlock the bluetooth menu, you will need to pull the radio out and connect the parking brake wire (light green).
@@ProvoBeastAudio I knew it. Cause the parking brake is right my the gas pedal and I don’t see no wire or cable connected to it. So I’m gonna have to take out the wires😂

No, you cannot upload your own image on this unit. You will need to purchase the higher level radio to utilize that function.

All depends on the install parts and vehicle. Sounds like you have a factory amplifier in the vehicle and you don’t either have the right harness adapter or don’t wiring right. It’s not settings related.
@@ProvoBeastAudio it's 2008 dodge charger idk if it has a factory Amp in it ! We doubled checked the wiring and the speakers worked on old radio

I think what is was is I do have a built in amp n didn't know plus we found out the radio harness didn't have a red power cord so had to trade it out for another radio n bought another harness that has a by pass and a cord for the built in amp hoping it will work tomarrow mornin wen we hook it up

Nope, you have a wiring issue with your radio causing it to reset each time you turn on the vehicle. Check your wiring connections

Fits any vehicle with the correct dash kit and working harness, specific to that vehicle.

I’m installing in a 2006 Sierra will I be using the microphone on the stereo or will it be using the microphone that comes from factory on the headliner once I wire it up with my pac harness. Once it’s all done and wired I’m curious if it will be using the factory microphone or the one in the front of the radio
Saw this at walmart for only 100 bucks, is it really worth it? Or should I just go ahead and get the 300-600 dollar ones?

Very much worth it. I made the mistake of purchasing the “Dual” brand and nothing but problems. Went back returned it and bought this one no problems at all now! It’s Pioneer so they know what they are doing!!!

Yes, it says on the faceplate.
The Bluetooth is always grey, even if the parking beak is on.
Which means it most likely isn't wired correctly. You can install a bypass for it, or have it properly wired to the vehicle.

Is it possible to cancel the parking brake system and how is the method for that so that I can turn on the bluetooth because it does not work for me??

@@anaaskhhattab2655 Bluetooth should work with out adding anything. To cancel Parking brake I brought PAC TR 1 video lockout bypass. This let you watch DVD while driving.

@@supadupa6891 It technically has a video input with the AUX, but it's a 3.5mm input and you'd need an adapter. It's a 3.5mm to Composite RCA adapter
