Thank you for the honest review. I needed an aftermarket radio and this gave me a lot more information than those dodgy demos from the manufacturer.

I think this has everything my son would need in his 2010 scion tc. Backup camera, handsfree calling, waze for navigation and a way to play music from his phone.

my backup camera only works if i hit camera in the menu option, any ideas why it wont go to camera if I have it on USB or radio?
U need to connect your camera positive wire to the reverse wire
I have a DMH-160BT in my daily and with that one you can put a wallpaper if you have pictures on a USB. Im planning to get a DMH-130BT for my other car, but I'd like to know, can I put a wallpaper on this radio to?

I would just sell this radio and get another to be honest with CarPlay
I have this radio. It's perfect for the novice. It has more features than a basic basic radio. But they messed up big time with the dealer advertising on the Android Auto and Carplay. Later I will be upgrading to a more advanced unit with time alignment and crossover octave controls etc. That stuff that the novice wouldn't know what to do with.

For some reason we weblink works perfect for me. No lagging and start up like 2 seconds after I plug it in. I think the phone makes a big difference
Yea but if u leave the WebLink app on your phone it stops working till the app is up

@@mightyprophet4581 forsure, I got the sony xav-ax5600. It has android auto Apple car play and weblink. Was a little pricey but I enjoy all the options. Plus hdmi port

U might have a bad amp just need RCA cables and power and ground.

Yup u have to buy a adapter for your car though (sold separately)

It’s a aftermarket radio, it will work in any vehicle 💪🏾.
Some cars have specific kits though u can always search eBay or Ail express.

No Camera including but back up camera are pretty cheap, check out my channel have back up camera installs with the links of what I use

This is a decent radio! Just installed mine. Scroll is not important! It’s not a phone or computer it’s a radio. 🫤 Yes I know modern technology spoil a lot of us but reality will not change what it actually is. People want to do so much on them that could possibly cause wrecks! The phone is distracting enough.

Just got one like it at walmart for 160. Gonna try to install it tomorrow on my toyota matrix 09 hopefully I got enough power for it.
This is a solid radio had no issues at all
I bought the 160bt from Walmart. Only to find out that In the box was a 130bt and it had been installed before. Walmart would not replace it. So I payed 300 for what was supposed to be a 160bt for a 130 that was used. I’ll never shop at Walmart again. Never.
You can def take it back that’s policy go to customer service and demand a refund or replacement

I think you need to bypass the parking brake wire to do some things.

@@mightyprophet4581 I just got the DMH-100BT model. It doesn't have quite as many options and I didn't hook up the brake wire. It works fine. That must be for only the web app and DVD player models.

Pioneer doesn't make the 7 inch double DIN anymore I think that's the best one to buy the 7-inch double DIN
Typically if you are giving a review form a product you should have got very familiar with the product and the features, including web link. Weblink is a great alternative to android auto or car play and definitely should have been covered.
Not worth it, radio should just come with apple car play and android as well

My personal experience is DO NOT BUY THIS RADIO. Only works for a couple months. the bluetooth stop working and you can not connect to your phone anymore. When you call the store they don't have warranty, so you only option is put it in the DUMPSTER.
Had it for over 3months, unmust have wired it wrong. Not even a cheap android radio stops working like that. Pioneer is high quality
@@mightyprophet4581 I bough it brand new and have an expert to install it. Right now i can hear just the radio because nothing works if is not connected to your phone. My phone can see it but when i tried to connect shows "device is not in pairing mode". Frustration to 1000% 🤣
@@wilfred25 perfesionals can mess up to. I do all my work my self and never experienced that with a radio. Maybe u just have a bad 1

This stereo is trash, I had it 3 weeks then sold it on Craigslist. Stay away!
