Everyone is complementing the singers, who obviously did very well, but it's pretty impressive that each of the musicians played with such clarity that with that many instruments the sound was not muddy or convoluted. A+ all around!

I disagree respectfully it was a great vocal performance but missed the grittyness of the original vocalist too "clean" if you get what I mean.

The vocal switch was freaking awesome, both vocalist killed it but the girl with the black hair that did the grittier and grimmer part of Serg's vocals it blew my mind. Not to forget about the break down toward the end of the song but so impressive. I hope these kids go on to be successful musicians!
This is unreal. The control in their voices. The clarity in all of the instruments. Good god, there is so much talent in that room.

@Comment0815 iconic would be more appropriate to describe Serj Tankian's voice because of the fame. So iconic implies that something is not only recognizable but also famous. Since these kids aren't really famous yet and they are also replicating an iconic voice you'd want to just describe their voices as unique!

The vocalist's sound so grown their voices! You look at them before they sing and your jaw drops when their big voices come out. Great job!

Can't help but listening to this over and over again. The first singer has an insane vocal range, those lows are goosebump-worthy, the another singer performs the chorus with such an unique tone there is nothing else, and the rest of the band is playing absolutely flawlessly and I can't stop admiring how clean they sound. There are so much nuances here it takes dozens of listens to notice them all. Have my virtual handshake everyone involved, thank you for performing for us.

Give the drummer some love, it took me a while to get the fills down for this song while keeping time, but then again Im self taught. Either way, its a tricky drum track
I'm mind blown. There are certain times in life where you see someone do a skill that you are interested in and it gives you inspiration. Last time that happened in music for me was when I listened to Snarky Puppy for the first time. And now this young group of musicians have given me that today. What an amazing world that we live in

And I liked the second vocalist. Just class. powerful voice. I turned it on at full power and the neighbors even wanted to break my window so they could hear her beautiful voice better.
All around fantastic cover but the black haired girl stole the show for me, what an awesome combination of abrasive and beautiful vocals and flip flops between them so seamlessly. Also, the back in forth between both singers during the chorus made me do a double take and I really dig that addition to the performance. Stellar, would love to hear more like it.

Never did I expect to see someone sing this song without the heavy vocal fry and still sound perfect but here we are. The emotions of the song were still expressed perfectly but with a new singer's twist. I could hope for no more than this. Well done!

I like that School of Rock always picks such technically challenging music for the students, or gives it to them as an option. Lots of Tool covers. Steely Dan. All sorts of actually pretty high brow music given the average age of the performers.
