Great show.I love going there every year. Mostly watching the Live Tonka toys. There is a brief shot of me by the boats about 41:07. Thanks for sharing
Yet another amazing model engineer exhibition! A lot of beautiful models in this one. Still crossing my fingers to someday see a model engineering exhibition, and to be a part of the craft!
Its amazing to see this show for sure, and it has so many different things to see, engines of course, steam, steam boats, live steam trains, the entire Remote control side of the show, huge drag lines, construction equipment etc.. and vendors, auction, and more....
MANY MANY beautiful models. Looks like the show people provided compressed air? Lots of big pipe! Hope they have some deep pocket sponsors! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, and you are correct about the air. Lots of air, but everyone pays pretty well, vendors pay a bunch, general admission $15 a day etc. I think they make out okay, consignment room for selling they get a cut of, and a big auction as well. It's a great event, worth the money and a visit for sure.
wow....... man.. There are some freaking sick skills out there. and some pretty deep pockets.... Makes me want to just throw my models right into the trash bin!

I started coming to CF Expu about 20 years ago. I’ve always been a machinist wannabe. I figured I could never build anything like this stuff. I kept cutting and bought a Sherline lathe, then later a Sherline mill and built a couple small steam engines. I’ve always fooled around with model airplanes and when I saw the pond at the show I decided to build a boat. I built a little RC steam boat and some others then built the canoe with Popey and Olive Oyl. CF is one of the year’s highlights! Come on out and join the fun! Great bunch of people and everyone is super friendly.
That first saw one. I know someone that has 2 full sizes of that. The first design was without wheels and the second design with wheels. They are not chain driven either, they are year driven. That model is wrong

It was an amazing work of art! thank you for bringing it!
I feel like I went back 100 years and I'm sad because I can only see old men
That first engine took forever to saw through that 3” branch
no weight on blade. just a demo.
Where do you buy the model kits from
PM Research is just one of several vendors depending on what you are looking for. Check them out here pmmodelengines.com/
