Me: It's burnt!
Gordon: Look at that perfectly cooked chicken.
Me: Perfectly cooked chicken.
He hid the burned side. xD
@@GreenEmperor yeh I noticed that too lol ever so slightly charred 😉
at about 9:39 , think its the spices, but still..
Burnt and blackened are two different things
The spices got burnt, but the Chicken not. Also, the water in the meat made the Chicken look like that too.
Producers: Gordon I bet you can't say "literally" 100 times in this video
Gordon: hold my lamb sauce
"Hold my literally"
literally
literally hold my lamb sauce
I am "literally " following every instruction he gives and "finally" doing things "beautifully"☺️
i bet you're doing an "incredible" job
I can cook this in 8 minutes. But it takes me 30 minutes to prep and clean.
Lool
Same idea goes for every home cooked meal
exactly 🤣

I have to say, Gordon is a MASSIVE part of my love of cooking. I really used to dislike cooking, and thought it was so tedious, avoiding it whenever possible. I learned to love it through Gordon’s vivacious personality, and the way he makes things look simple and doable. My dad calls me Ramsey sometimes when I make dinner because he knows where my inspiration comes from, and my whole family enjoys my cooking. I owe this man a lot. He’s so much more than a “celebrity” chef. Though I have no interest in turning cooking into a career, I cook with love and passion everyday. And he’s a big part of why I do that….
You took the words right out of my mouth. I am a mother and wife, and I dreaded cooking because I had zero clue. Ramsay is my inspiration. Everything I cook, comes inspired by him. So cool to see others inspired too!
Sausage and Mash is my kids favourite. 😂 thanks to Gordon Ramsay. We all love him. My 16 years old son loves talking like Mr Ramsay 🥰 raw! where is the lamb sauce etc watched every episode of kitchen night mares 😂
same here! i left home and had never really cooked or been taught and needed to learn. i turned to gordon and would binge watch all his shows. id get so excited and write down ingredients and go to the supermarket to cook meals at home. He taught me all the basics of cooking and more. i learnt to cook from scratch, to season properly and never microwave unless i have to haha. As my dad passed in 2018 i have loved watching him teach and be the great father figure he is to his kids and watching him with tilly and seeing tilly grow. Hes been a big part of me wanting to learn more and finally feeling confident and excited to cook. hes definitely more than a celebrity chef great to see how many peoples lives hes truly changed.
I totally feel the same way as you man, I'm very happy to live now while he's still here cooking and teaching everybody, Gordon is truly admirable.
Lies again? Hello GNC
Love Gordon, word of the day “literally” 😂
Together with "beautifully".
Okay
Literally word of every day for Gordon
Drinking game :
- « Okay » = take a sip of beer
- « beautiful/beautifully » = take a sip of wine
- « Sort of » = take a shot

I love just watching Gordon cook things and having fun with it, it's so mesmerizing and a perfect way to come off work.
I love listening to this man describing food as he cooks. Makes me want to cook, even if I'm not hungry.

I love watching and listening to Gordon. He has inspired me to make new dishes! Thank you!
Same! So clear how much he loves it. I always thought he wasn't someone I'd like from what I knew about Hells Kitchen, but when he's solo like this, he's extremely pleasant and a great teacher!
Looks perfect to me. I love making Gordon Ramsay's dishes. Always delicious.
he’s definitely trolling us with the word literally, he usually doesn’t say it nearly this many times in a 10 min video.
I have been catching that too! I forgot to count how many times he says it. lol
You never call Gordon Ramsay a troll. He will find you...
I was about to ask if anybody counted the literallys in this video cuz its nuts
Literally never says it so many times
@@analogdistortion literally never
I have to admit, the speed by which he cooks, is very impressive.
That is his job though
Took the words right out of my mind!
Hes a wizard (:
Literally
thats how you should work at your job people who slack never get anywhere
A professional cook can cook professionally - who would have thought! Also keep in mind that everything he used was prepared already, which often takes much more time than the actual cooking part. Heating up that grilling plate alone takes 10 min. So those "X in 10 minutes"-titles are pure clickbait.
That aside, I'm more impressed about how simple the meals actually are. No need for all kinds of fancy things - toss some basic ingredients together and you have a tasty meal. The "salad" didn't look very promising, but with cheese and croutons that might be yummy.
Thank you for being my inspiration Gordon. You’ve shown me how beautiful cooking can be. I’ve been the head chef at carrabbas italian grill for just over a year now and im very excited to soon take my passion up another level.
Are you an alcoholic yet
It can only get better! 🎉
I didn't know how to cook steak tell I watched Gordon Ramsay literally came out perfect I couldn't cook tell I actually watched him do step by step follow instructions you can literally cook practice makes perfect I love Gordon Ramsay he speaks the truth when it comes to the kitchen this is my first time doing chicken breasts I been trying to learn new things and cooking is at the top of my list thank you for the cooking knowledge Ramsay definitely easy to follow
I took a shot every time he said "literally". I passed out before the 10 minutes was up.
Do you mean drink shot or screenshot😅 I thought you meant screenshot and was so confused🤣🤣

You are so awesome! I get so many great tips from watching you. Thank you for sharing. I am so inspired and my food is tasting so beautiful.
I love the video concept of this series! I especially liked that we're shown the full 10 minute cooking process, as we watch the various cooking techniques you use.
Yeah... I was suprised he really used ten minutes of cooking time... Most of these types of videos cover the method and instructions in the ten minutes [etc.].

I just made it in 10 min too... after getting all the ingredients and laying them out. And very easy to make!

seriously couldn't be more inspired by Gordon's love for food and enthusiastic energy. love how he can cook gourmet or relatable and doable weeknight meals!
seriously... you mean LITERALLY?
Couldn’t agree more
Thank you chef Ramsay for sharing your incredibly deep knowledge of food and its preparation.
I'd like to point out though a little habit that I've seen a few chefs doing, which is using a single tea towel throughout the cook, being used both during the preparation of raw meats and fish as well as during the cooking part. In this particular video, we can see that the board where the raw chicken was sitting during prep gets quickly wiped with the tea towel and then this same tea towel is used in the other wooden board, pans, etc. On the other hand, he correctly washes hands twice after manipulating the chicken.
Thanks Thanks Thanks sooomuch! I will be trying everything. Best teacher Chef ever. Thanks to your wife and kids for sharing your time. Love it.
I love this because I’m scared to cook cuz I always mess it up but he breaks everything down and I love it because it makes me feel like I can do it and now I wanna try
9:40 the chicken underside is literally burnt and the editors used camera angles to minimise showing it. If this was cooked by a chef on hell's kitchen Gordon would have murdered the chef LOL
I'm looking at the comments thinking to myself is no one going to bring this up? hahaha
Youd still eat it
THANK YOU!
No, it’s caramelised 😎🤪😂

If someone served this chicken to Gordon, he would be so pissed about it saying it is burnt.
I bought the Ramsay in 10 cookbook and it was really helpful, I for sure recommend buying this book❤
You've got a great way of not wasting everyone's time. Appreciate your videos, tried some, delicious
Oh wow this is how I’ve been cooking chicken for years now. Frying pan for me, and usually thighs. Even down to the lid and water. the texture is so, so nice. And his seasonings undoubtedly so savory- a full sensory experience with sight, smell, flavors, texture..
Dear Gordon,
Thank you so much for your endless energy, passion and effort in making the world of cooking much higher standard and regular meals much more delicious all over the world! God bless You and your family and may the universe bring you nothing but the best!
i just came here coz i couldnt find any of your social media accounts to sent a message telling you are a kind hearted man start watching master chief recently and found that you are a great support i not into cooking but i wish i had some one in my life supporting like you ,, wish you all the best
A good amount of 'literally' with a hint of chicken. 10/10
This is what's going on in every kitchen in every restaurant (albeit not so well nor gracefully, in many), by chefs doing so for 30 different orders at once. What grace under pressure and joy to share. Thank you Chef Ramsey. The incremental steps of how to lay out something like this in such little time is fantastic. And gives such insight into the process for what top chefs must go through to achieve their masterpieces in such short order. Bravo.
its not that deep bro

Anyone notice how burnt the bottom of the chicken is?
9:40
Gordon killed it twice...
Those are the spices and they still taste great. Gordon couldn't slow cook it in 10mins that's why it was all on high heat
Its not burnt its essentially charred it has a smokey addition to the flavour
"What happens when you get a whole chicken, cooked in literally 10 minutes?"

Here are a couple of tips that make assembly slightly easier ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt . 1) One person can assemble, but if you have a buddy to help, it will make it go faster - especially steps 1-3 and 8 (the legs aren't heavy but can be difficult to hold while screwing things in). Step 8, 1st part will take some time unless you have two more hands OR are really lucky. 2) Use a socket wrench! 3) Step 7, 3rd part - the flame carry over tube has an open side, MAKE SURE THE OPEN SIDE IS FACING THE FRONT. If it's facing the back, the tube won't work. 4) Step 10, 3rd part - if you don't have small hands (I don't, they're gigantic) getting the nut on is really difficult (but not impossible). It took me about 4 hours to assemble, but I took a "union break" every 60-90 minutes and ate a quick lunch. Also, I'm really OCD so I took my time, looked at the instructions carefully, and cleaned up as I went.
I have tried Gordon Ramsey recipes and I know it’s one of the best as a cook at home.
I BET Gordon Ramsay can't do a whole show without saying "Literally"

I really love extra char on a meat like that. Some people say it's burnt, but for me that black burnt bits are delicious.
@rubbergigs if your "roasted patch" becomes bitter, you overdid it and should not eat it (unless youre actually in danger of starvation)
burnt meat causes cancer.
Love Gordon, immense respect and I've taught myself to cook really well from his and MPW videos but bottom of that chicken (skin) is fully burnt.
@@leonhardable Who said burnt meat causes cancer? That must be a terrible lie.
@@Michael_Rr My comment got deleted. I sent another reply afterwards where I stated I did my research on the problem and it turned out that in fact Leos was right, but this burnt meat causes cancer only applies when the meat is burnt on a surface where there is a live fire available, for example a Grill or a Firecamp. Gordon used a Grilling pan and thus the steak would not cause harm, I believe.
@@Michael_Rr grillng olive oil is not great too
There was no way he wasn't gonna burn the chicken cooking it at that high of a heat. Look at @9:40, the bottom of the chicken is burnt to shit lol

Perfect 10 minute meal. Just takes the afternoon to spatchcock the whole chicken.
Gordon: *puts bread in pan* - "Beautiful!" 😂
8:09
He burnt the back of the chicken. He flips the chicken to back side up at 5:56 but they immediately switch to another camera to conceal the charred back. Also when he lifts the pan at 6:38, the chicken is found lying back side down. This means he flipped the chicken to back side down (after it had been flipped to back side up at the former timestamp) off camera. This also brings into question the sanctity of their "10 minute" challenge. They clearly manipulate the time elapsed by cutting filming.
Look up "Blackened Chicken" and then stop commenting on stuff you know nothing about.
@@Ananamitron Why did they conceal it then? And while your blackened chicken may be a thing, it still doesn't explain their video manipulation.
@@mrs111198 They concealed something that you saw? Weird.
@@Ananamitron They tried to conceal it but I caught them. Also is this your idea to settle arguments, by twisting words?
@@mrs111198 There's no evidence they concealed anything. Why would they draw attention to it when it's simply blackened? Blackened chicken is one of the most common methods of grilled chicken.
