So its been over a year now... no wait two! That a Suikoden I AND II Remaster was on the horizon and here we are weeks away from Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes and still no Suikoden???

I hope Konamis Radiosilence will end after the Release of Eiyuden chronicle hundred heroes.
I think it will. Thats really the only reasoning for the push back. I mean I would! I wouldn't want my new IP not to get purchased because everyone just bought the old classics. I'm thinking it could have a possible Christmas drop

@@Tirigon FACTS you right its 505 and Rabbit & Bear Studios. I was right in it being the spirit success to suikoden but its 505 games thanks for the correction
it be nice if nintendo wasnt a bunch of asses who pushed their shit back a month just to boost digital sales. sea of star taking 9 months for sea of star. and then pushing eiyuden back a month also.
Konami who? i can still play Suikoden games on a yearly basis and suiko 2 in particular still looks fine as hell.
My mind is set on Rabbit & Bear and Eiyuden Hundred Heroes. Rest in Peace to the God Murayama.

@@Suikojunkie I try not too but sometimes I gotta ESPECIALLY if I wanna play day of and theres no midnight release! So many games this year Im trying hard not to double dip
I think they are just waiting on the switch console to release and be one of the first old school RPGs on it. I will promote Suikoden over Eiyuden any day. Suikoden is much much better. Eiyuden is mashing old and new school by taking the worst of both aspects.
You realise that Eiyuden is made by the same producer as Suikoden 1 and 2, but has nothing to do with Konami. You make it sound like Konami is releasing Eiyuden. It's not their game or IP.
Yea I know it feels so much like it though but its 505. Truly a spirit successor if I ever saw/played one! And like you said I think Konami didn't want to drop around same time out of respect for of producer/devs from originals.
But have you played it yet and if so how you liking it so far? I'm 10 hrs in and enjoying it but a lot of ppl calling it cring??? Which is funny because it plays a lot like the source material. Granted those were made in the 90s and its 2024 so a lot of ppl arent use to certain style of gaming.

Idk Switch 2 seems like a dream still at this moment. Wouldnt be surprised the drop this game at the end of the year and on the Switch 2 whenever that does drop. Especially if its backward backward-compatible

Is it possible that out of respect for the original Suikoden team, Konami actually stepped aside for a moment? Or is it that they are seizing the opportunity to let Hundred Hero’s rekindle a desire to play Suikoden 1 and 2, and then release it after people have finished the Hundred Hero’s and are hungry for more?
I think so too! I'm playing Eiyuden and really enjoying it so far its def a blast from the past. "If there ever was a spirit successor"
Seriously you can tell some the 505 folks worked on Suikoden. I hear its not a long gme either which is perfect with all the drops this month
