False. A Scat Pack can come with the SRT Widebody. Not the old, slower, less tech SRT392. Another funny difference: The SRT392's came with a 226mm rear axle, which handles less torque and is less durable than the Scat Pack's 230mm rear axle.. LOL!!
Today it's not as simple, back in 2018 the argument would be simple. Today Scat packs can come just as loaded as the SRT did in it's glory days. Minus the leather seats, different set of brakes and the badges they are very similar. To give an example, when the Redeye Hellcats and the Super Stocks came out people were calling it a detune Demon. To which those of us who know these cars well enough, we know that's not 100% true. However Stellantis/Dodge did take a lot of what the Demon had to offer and put it into the Redeye and even more into the Super Stock but they skipped just enough goodies to keep the Demon exclusive. The same can be said about the SRT 392 and the Scat Packs today.
My point is this, though they are different their similarities outweigh their differences. That can not be ignored when certain SRT owners wanna flex like the Scat Packs can't do the same things it can. Ultimately a car's value really depends on the owner. There are people out there who paid 20 maybe 30k on a car and cherish it like it cost 100 grand. While there are also people who actually did pay over 100 grand for their cars but treat them worst than trash. At the end of the day the car community as a whole can learn how to be a bit more like these two cars, different but yet alike. You don't have to own the same cars or even like the same cars just come together on the similarities of loving cars in general rather than the differences that put you against one another. There's a time for that, it's call the track. Line'em up and let the driver and car speak. Be blessed y'all.🙏
I picked up a 16 scatpack with 16k miles for 37k. Also has the whipple sc, custom graphics, and lowered suspension. It's so much fun! Especially with the manual trans, just connects you to the car.
please leet me know how that supercharger goes...heard alot of people say that the 6.4 pistons could not handle a supercharger. My fingers crossed for you.
The srt are more expensive to register as you said about the vin. Srt is dodge performance models so as soon as insurance place’s see srt the price goes up. But the the scat pack is cheaper to insurance because it doesn’t have the srt branding but you get the same performance with less insurance
I opted for the srt in 2016 for three items: adjustable suspension (soft for wife), brakes, and interior finish and seating. Since I spend more time inside than outside, the interior was very important. Kes
I went for a 2015 SRT after watching your videos. I see a lot of SP owners upgrading to get to a SRT level. I already have the 275 wide tires, and can go wider. I have the 6 piston brembos and the SRT performance pages...etc. Love the car, so glad I went for the SRT package.
I have a widebody scat 305 in the front 315 in the back and 6 pistons honestly there the same same engine just a lil bit more trim pieces basically the SRT badge
So pleased that Dodge did this. Got a Scat Pack with only the auto transmission as an option, saved a ton of money and still have the 392 hemi. Good enough for me.
Probably because during the mid 2000's we had SXT , RT and then SRT ...Everybody who had a SXT and a RT secretly wanted the SRT because they looked more aggressive and they were faster ..These new Scat Packs today look like regular RT's from the earlier 2000's ..I prefer SRT too lol ..
Another difference is the cost of insurance for an SRT compared to an RT. I read something a while back about how dodge basically gave you an SRT without the added cost of higher insurance with the scat pack. Especially if you optioned it correctly. My 19 scat pack widebody has the big brakes and the SRT pages. Daily driver and 28K on it already! I love the octane red. When I picked it up, someone told me it was arrest me red. Lol
This is true - insurance on my 2015 Challenger Scat Pack is admittedly minimal but I keep it at the lowest "low mileage" offering they have. Still, it is cheaper than a 2016+ Miata which is interesting to say the least.
Good Video... I was fortunate to find a 2018 SRT with 5800 miles on it in February for a steal of a deal. Snapped it up and upgraded from my beloved RT. I get a lot of Scat owners who want to do an up-close comparison. The reality is both are dreams to own and drive.
This is my first time watching your videos, I just got my license a year ago and I’m driving a Dodge Charger 2008 V6 3.6L, and the information you have and give is amazing keep up the good work.
@@chrisborreson1857 Yeah, that's a non point. You can get a flat bottom steering wheel in a scat pack. Here's a VIN: 2C3CDZFJ1MH513740 Check out the build sheet, if you know how, it's 7th from the bottom of page 7. Flat Bottom Steering Wheel.
Just got a 2020 widebody scat charger almost a month ago. After almost 3 years of saving & building credit. I finally got it. I’m so in love!! 😎😍 thanks for the content racerX
Congratulations! I'm in the same boat you were in. Saving for that down-payment and building my credit. I'm hoping if I show up at the dealership with $15,000/ down-payment and a decent credit score, they won't give me any issues. You've been through this. What do you think?
@@GoBuckeyes216 i had a v6 challenger i didn’t really like it so When I got the charger i fell in love wit them so Im definitely getting a 392 or hellcat charger. I plan on having a family anyways😭😭
@@agent47idk15 ahhh man yeah would be really hard having a family with a challenger 😂 idk man I’m a challenger guy but I absolutely love the body style of the charger 392’s and hellcats 😭
I ordered my ‘19 Scat Pack with the extra performance goodies and am quite happy with it. I didn’t get the Wide Body, but I got the dynamics package, technology group, driver convenience group. So I got the 6 piston front Brembos (red), 275 tires, and the SRT performance pages. It’s all awesome. The brakes are especially amazing. I also got the SRT rear spoiler for $600. But now it’s a $1000. option, which seems steep to me.
Bought a 2017 Challenger SRT a few months ago and I love it. I just prefer the SRT badging versus the scat pack. Just a preference lol. Gonna get a Hellcat Redeye soon. Love the content on this channel and this is my go to for mod suggestions. Keep it up! 💯😎
It's something about the SRT badging for me also ...I have a 2008 RT and of course over the years I've always wanted and admired the SRT because it looked nothing like the V6 and V8 version of my charger ..SRT's always looked more aggressive rather if it's a Magnum , Jeep or Challenger ..Scat Packs look like regular RT's to me especially with the RT badging on the front .
Just a couple of notes. The scat pack shaker comes in all leather interior with SHAKER embroidery and in the SRT there is a sensor that lights up on the dash if the hood is open but not on the scatpack. Its located under the hood around the plastic PCM cover on the passenger side. Also the weight difference is noticeable between the two because the scat pack doesn't have those luxury features like adaptive suspensions that change between street sport and track and some other things like mopar's lightweight forged rims on the scatpack and what you mentioned 4 piston front brake and fixed sport bilstein suspensions. I raced stock srt challengers in my scatpack and always pulled away. Great content buddy 👏 👍
@tatsuhirosatou5513 thats true. The 6 piston was an option added in 2017 or 2018. They initially came out without the 6 pistons and were a bit lighter without those brakes and adjustable dampeners
@tatsuhirosatou5513 2015 Challenger Scat Pack owners have five different preferred equipment groups to pick from including Sound Group II, Driver Convenience Group, Leather Interior Group, Technology Group and Scat Pack Appearance Group. Either you have a 1 of 1 2015 challenger scatpack or you dont even have a car.
A loaded Scat Pack now covers all of the ground. You can get get is stripped like old SRT Core and you can load it out with options that were not even available to the SRT 392 such as the wide body, shaker and 1320 options, which can push the car close to 60k.
Yep, with exception to the suspension adjustments, in my "Drive Modes", there is definitely more available now than the two options shown at 6:16 in the video. And taller shift paddles, flat bottom steering, suspension and brakes (I opted for the 4 piston as they work great) are the biggest differentiators that separates my 2019 Scat from the SRT. Shoulda gone with the 1320 for sure to get the suspension, was only a couple k more. I had a guy roll up in an SRT thinking I put an aftermarket Hellcat hood on my car, like nope, ordered my car online from the factory with it, hahaha.
@@mike_johnson87 Well, there is no gap if your RT is fully loaded with the wide body or 1320 package that are more expensive and faster than the SRT 392 (the wide body with the wider tires was faster). There was a gap up until 2019, but the reason the 392 was dropped was now everything you could get on it was available to the RT. Now the RT has options the 392 did not have. If you get the wide body along with the Shaker package loaded, you are over 60k. The brilliance of the RT is you can get it bone stripped at 40k, or get everything and pay over 60k.
The srt392 also came with HID headlights. Scat pack regular halogens. Also the srt392 came w the one day driving class from bondurant which was a lot of fun. Great video bro
They blurred the lines even more. My 2020 RT Scat pack widebody 50th aniversary came with HID Headlights and you got the Bondurant SRT Drive Experience. I just came back from it yesterday and it was outstanding. FYI, They just changed the name to Radford racing school.
@@pbrdoug4962 guess they have been adding more features w more options. Which also means they’re more expensive than ever. It was a fun day racing around. I had heard they had closed down. Guessing someone bought it.
I bought a used 2016 Scat Pack with only 2000 miles on it. I have a 2mile long bridge that has a concrete divider on it. I test my cars on it at 2:00 to 3:00 in the morning. I also have an Escort with GPS on it. I took it out one morning with the wife and let her rip. I maxed out on the speedometer, but my wife, (hanging on for dear life), says "The Escort is reading 182!!" I'm yelling, "Get a picture! Get a picture!!" She says, "Was I supposed to bring a phone?" I was maxed! I was maxed! I had the pedal to the metal........literally! I couldn't get one more MPH out of it without putting the pedal through the floor. Has anybody else maxed at this speed? It's a rush isn't it? Love your videos!
This is my 4th time watching this video I'm debating between an 2016 SRT and 2018 Scat Pack Challenger. I'm leaning more toward an SRT because you have more options to play with such as the suspension.
@@jalenr1439 I’d imagine it comes down to the feel of the drive, not looks. And performance. Unless you’re a stanced kinda guy, which I’d assume most people driving challengers are not lol
Like my cousin told me, I bought a 2018 scat pack, almost bought a 2016 srt , why buy a car that will be well over 10 years old before you pay it off? Just a thought
The 2015-2018 Srt had the adjustable dampers and the scat didn’t have that option at that time. The SRT had everything the hellcat had besides the supercharger etc. The Srt holds value a Lil better but the scat is the better choice consider they have the same power.
This is going to be very useful for me because I'm either getting a Scat Pack/SRT 392/Hellcat depending on if a Hellcat is worth the purchase. It's a bit more expensive to own but if I'm going for the 6.4L Hemi, I need to know this.
This was very informative, thanks! I didn’t realize how lucky I was finding my 2019 scat pack with 30k miles, heated leather seats and steering wheel as well as other nice touches. I love it!
Just purchased my scat pack yesterday. Hellraisin purple, very impressed with the car, so much fun. My first Dodge product. Thanks for the informative video.
Great video! The manual Scat Pack does not have a transmission option on the Performance Pages, but the automatic does. I noticed you were in a manual Scat. Thanks for all your awesome videos!
These can definitely get really confusing… my buddy’s for example, it’s a 2019 scat pack … but the emblem on the side just says “392” there is no scatpack bee except when you start it. Guess that was just a trim option
Then there’s the Scat Pack “Shaker” edition like my 2018 that seemingly has ALL the options on it. Not sure where that fits on the sliding scale of coolness, but at the end of the day it’s fun as shit to drive and I love it!
Shaker is a great package.. just lacks the dynamic suspension modes.. the only widebody version is on the 50th .. which is a slightly different package
@@RacerX9 It would probably be nice to have the active suspension if you actually need it lol I dont think I'll be "racing" mine but I do daily drive it and its very stiff and responsive compared to any other car I've driven it comes with tuned springs and bilstein shocks stock
@@RacerX9 My 2019 "shaker' Came with adaptive dynamic suspension. To my knowledge, the only things not available were the Widebody and the 305 tire upgrade. I had to accept the " skinny" body to get the shaker. THis changed in 2020 when you could get both. I like the looks of both and do not have any burning wish for the W/B.
I have a 2020 Pitch Black SPWB and the only thing I’m missing from the SRT is the leather seats. Besides the leather I have all the bells and whistles. Awesome car I don’t care what anyone wants to call it. The funny thing I see is people that don’t have Scats or SRT’s tell me what my car is 😂😂 When you get one we’ll talk but until then drive your SXT or GT and don’t worry about my car.
I’m definitely no expert, but if you’re driving a 2021 scat pack that says “powered by SRT” on the brakes, and engine, and it has SRT pages, and the car is engineered by the SRT team, then it’s an SRT in my book. Anything with a 6.2 or 6.4 engine is an SRT. Not really sure why the Mopar community gets so nit picky about it, except for the fact that the Mopar community seems toxic as hell.
You don't have to apologize to me, I'm not a car guy. I bought a scat pack because it's what I wanted (first car I've ever owned that wasn't a 4cyl point a to point b car, and I honestly never gave any thought to SRT one way or the other until I started watching Dodge stuff on UA-cam when I was trying to learn more about the car I wanted. Any way, here's my question ... What makes it different? Same engine in a scatpack as the old SRT that they don't make any more, it has the bigger brakes if you have the dynamics package, it has the SRT pages, it has SRT badging on various parts of the car (engine, infotainment, brakes) ... So, what's the difference today besides not being able to get full leather like a in a hellcat? I'm honestly just asking because I don't understand. I originally thought it was hellcat or demon owners bent out of shape about people who had the cheaper car claiming it was something it wasn't, but from the video the 2018 SRT was a lesser car then then a hellcat. I find the whole conversation interesting, because I've personally never called my car anything other than a scat pack, I'm just trying to understand the debate.
@@scottwoosley8388 Ok, makes sense. But if you get a fully loaded scat, with plus, dynamics, drivers convenience, and technology packages, would that also be true about scat packs today, minus the full leather interior vs. alcantera? I really do find the topic interesting ... especially being a guy who knows absolutely zero about cars, other than the fact that I really like mine. Dodge appears to blur the lines even between the Charger and Challenger. On the website it refers to the Challenger as an R/T Scat Pack, but the Charger Scat Pack doesn't have any RT reference. Challenger also gets R/T badging and options for R/T decals, and the Charger does not. Dodge must enjoy the buzz the debate generates, lol.
Good Afternoon MY GUY! Man oh man, I am excited! After years of saving, grinding and watching you views I pulled the trigger and bought me a scat pack.
I was told by several Dodge dealers that the Scat Pack replaced the SRT but to truly get everything the SRT had you had to get the Dynamics Pkg. the Dynamics Pkg had the same six piston Brembos and everything else that the SRT had. It was replaced in name but it is the same car in both the Charger and Challenger.
The reason they call em RT SCAT PACK Now is they felt they were getting away from the R/T .. And they were … Good move on dodge to keep it real with the R/T
My 392 has everything the SRTs have on the SRT dashboard and mine is a 2020. I wanted to put an SRT badge on my spoiler but I don’t want people thinking I’m up badging but I have everything the SRTs have besides the 6 piston brakes and the steering wheel insignia and the seats.
Lol yeah lines are really blurry with my 19 scat pack. Mine came with every thing a srt has. Just no leather seats. Same performance pages and mine even has the srt steering wheel too. Great content as always man💯
Scats dont come with an SRT steering wheel, even with full options. It was probably changed before you got it. SRTs came with everything optioned out by default. Scats start off with a low trim (smaller brakes, cloth seats ect). But thats why the scat is a great value, you dont have to pay for SRT price while having a 392.
@@gr8cylindergr8t82 o I already know that. I knew the guy I bought it from. He switched out the steering wheel. But see the lines still get blurry bc u can buy a scat with the dynamics package and basically have everything a srt had for a better price. I know ppl get all butt hurt on this topic. I never call mine a srt bc its not but its pretty much the same thing. Leather seats and steering wheel is all the separates my car from a actual srt. Not much of a difference there.
@@mattg5446 Yea you are right, there isnt much difference and it makes sense from a sales point of view because you can option the scat how you want. The newer scats are nicer cars now too because it has newer tech and an upgraded Uconnect. Better tech than my old 2015 hellcat, upgraded to a redeye.
@@gr8cylindergr8t82 definitely man. Dodge makes some awesome cars 4 sure💯 love my sact. I actually own 2 scats. A wide body challenger and mine. Take care bro🤜🤛
For those who like to drive a scat pack the way the scat was built for, buying the base scat is literally the stupidest thing a person can do. I won't be surprised if that car is in a ditch in 6 months. That is a 500hp (500hp is a lot of power, it's just shitted on by the Hellcat variants) engine and to have no control on the suspension menu, 4 piston brakes and 245 /35/20 tires. Is a disaster waiting to happen. Hell I would argue those brakes and tires are too small for a stock 5.7L.
Very good comparison video of the 2 trim levels! It needed to be done. I think a lot of Scat owners (‘15-‘18) are unaware of the more comprehensive drive modes in the SRT car. Namely Track Mode/transmission. Sport does a fine job of waking up the 392. But, Track is amazing. Thank you for this video!
My '19 Challenger SPWB all the SRT pages and 'drive modes' button and 'launch' button and linelock in the Uconnect. Also has 305/35ZR20 tires, 6p Brembos, 20x11 Devils rims, Cuda spoiler. The center dash has the more attractive font and look too (as in the SRT trims). It also has the original Hellcat hood which was an official SRT hood. If the tiny SRT decals on the keyfob and air-vent and the logo on the seats makes any difference, I can't tell at all... and more importantly, I just don't care. I love my Scat Pack just fine the way it is... totally awesome.
I’m love my 2021 Charger Scatpack Widebody. Insurance company sees it as an R/T....so my car insurance only went up $10 a month when I replaced my 2018 Toyota Tacoma with the Scat. #Winning
Just bought a 2013 R/T a couple weeks ago. Love the car, didn't know anything about these cars going into this. I would have shopped for a scat pack or a SRT car if I would have been aware. The 5.7 is still pretty fun. As quick as many motorcycles. What I have found is everyone wants to race you on the road. Some guy yesterday was desperate to roll coal on me in his F-350 diesel. So I nailed it and got into the shoulder where there's sanding gravel from icy mornings and... im sure he needs a new windshield now. He backed off very fast. Great breakdown. I'm always explaining to people that my srt is not a Scatpack. I think the only thing I seen missing in the video is that the srt has the spoiler color matched to the car. 💪
Modern Scat Packs are made by the SRT division and have performance options that the discontinued SRT 392’s never had. Like Widebody, Drag Mode etc. much better technology in the new Scats.
@@professorstein5855 that's to be expected. Newer cars, newer tech, bigger price tag. Makes perfect sense. The srt392 can be up to 6 years old now, like mine.
I just bought a 21 charger scat pack wide body and the wide body has the exact same setup as the srt; 6piston brembos , upgraded suspension etc The wide body does come with bigger tires though (305s)
Maybe, but it'll most definitely be worth more than any Scat Pack will in 25 years due to the SRT being loaded with options and low production numbers while the Scats are on every corner and mass produced.
I have a 2018 Octane Red Scat Pack that's loaded and it's been one of the best cars I have owned. Orig price was $50k and thru dealer price reduction and down payment got it out the door for $40k. I get so many compliments on the car between deign/color of the car!!! I looked at Mustangs, Camaro's before buying....great cars also, but I loved the classic design lines they did on the Challenger keeping it a bit more true to the original muscle cars. It is a big car and def will never handle in corners like a Mustang or a Camaro, but you have to know that going into buying one. My engine has the SRT Powered valve covers that came with car, so some ask if it's a Hellcat, but then they see the bumble bee and of course it's missing the super charger...which as a daily driver, I don't mind giving up some horsepower to save a little in gas.
The uconnect 5 is in my 2021 SRT Durango and it is absolutely glorious. Touch screen is Hella responsive and ABSOLUTELY NO LAG with anything you touch!!!!!!

Grabbed a 2019 Scat Pack built for me and equipped it with everything, damping suspension 6 piston brembos the 275’s with Hellcat wheels. Love it. Has everything except the adaptive cruise control I don’t need a computer to see in front of me and stop for me Correction 275’s not 295
Correct, which is why the SRT became expendable. In 2019 you could add the Adaptive Damping Suspension too. I have both options on my '19 Scat so just missing the leather interior.
I have a 2016 SRT 392. As you well said, from 2019 onwards you could build a scat pack same as an SRT 392, no difference whatsoever. The flat bottom steering wheel was also only available in the SRT prior to 2019, but not in the scat pack. One thing I noticed but not 100% sure is that the SRT's suspension sits lower than the Scat Pack. Not sure if it is only dependant on the adaptive suspension. The wheel gap on the scat pack is bigger (and I am not talking about the widebody where it is outrageous).
The only difference between that SRT and my 2021 Scat Pack is the seats. However I'll say I like the Alcantara seats better anyway. I had a Charger blacktop previously and the Napa leather seats I would slide in a bit flying around Watkins Glen. The Alcantara seats you're pretty much glued to! A weird difference you didn't mention is the coil pack covers on the SRT say 392 HEMI, where as on the Scat Pack it says POWERED BY SRT.
I just bought a new scat pack(after owning an sxt for 2 years) it's very nice to know that some SRT equipment has been added to it. I was wondering if you know if a mid muffler delete voids the warranty? Thank you so much for all of the awesome content you bring everyone! 😊
It’s actually gonna be dealer choice. My dealership says it does not unless you cut the catalytic converters in the front. Still they have to definitively prove that is the cause of damage.
I have a 2022 Scat Pack with Shaker Package. Badging has the Super Bee on the side and back but 392 on the shaker as well as SRT inside, I got the Dynamics package. I ordered it with 275's and 6 piston Brembos.

Great video. This is a very hot discussion and Scat Pack owners seem to get defensive about it. He is comparing 2018 models only, so most of these comments that say "wrong, this is available on a SP" are referring to 2019 and newer. Both great cars, but in 2018 an SRT was a trim level higher and had more options.
I have a 21 Scat and I’ll tell you SRT owners still come at you with that smugness. And when you ask them if they know the difference between the two, they have absolutely no idea. Ma y don’t even know SRT “disbanded” in 2018. That’s why Scat owners get defensive. You literally have the superior vehicle and they still run off at the mouth lol
Some Scat owners do not understand the respect the SRT name comes with in a vehicle. I got mine for the red start button... lol jk. I got it specifically for the upgraded suspension & brakes, leather, and Harmon kardon audio. I originally wanted a 4 door so I was looking for a C63 AMG but the interior of the Charger absolutely changed my mind and kept me in an American muscle car.

All solid reasons for getting the SRT
I went for a 2015 SRT after watching your videos. I see a lot of SP owners upgrading to get to a SRT level. I already have the 275 wide tires, and can go wider. I have the 6 piston brembos and the SRT performance pages...etc. Love the car, so glad I went for the SRT package.

So pleased that Dodge did this. Got a Scat Pack with only the auto transmission as an option, saved a ton of money and still have the 392 hemi. Good enough for me.
The SRT and the Scat both have the exact same body kit, but for some reason the SRT looks better to me.
the brakes are different...allowing for a lot that can be done. the scat is lighter
My scat also has an extra suspension toggle that my srt didn’t. ( I have the wideboy now. ).

The Scat Pack give the (R/T )the Respect it deserves.
The 1320 is bang for buck the best Mopar that I've ever had. Everyone at the track ends up with buyer's remorse after seeing my slips.
Very thorough review.
After owning a SRT392, my sights are now on a R/T Widebody or Hellcat.
This of course changed when the SRT stopped. The scatpack gained weight and luxury features. My scatpack is 2016 so many options were not available
You could get the srt light weight forged wheels and 6 piston breaks from factory in the scatpack, mine has them
@tatsuhirosatou5513 thats true. The 6 piston was an option added in 2017 or 2018. They initially came out without the 6 pistons and were a bit lighter without those brakes and adjustable dampeners
@@kingsmark965 my 2015 came with 6 pistons
All facts. My widebody scatpack charger is 63k. Fully equipped
This is true, however the SRT still have there place. The gap just isn't as big anymore.

Challengers come with an R/T badge so how is it both? Window sticker clearly says R/T scatpack not SRT scatpack.
Not an SRT...sorry

For those who like to drive a scat pack the way the scat was built for, buying the base scat is literally the stupidest thing a person can do.

You should make a video about the upcoming UConnect 5.
The uconnect 5 is in my 2021 SRT Durango and it is absolutely glorious. Touch screen is Hella responsive and ABSOLUTELY NO LAG with anything you touch!!!!!!
I have a 2019 RT scat pack shaker and it's definitely a mix of these two cars
Just got one today literally been crammin these vids
Any charger build 2016 and up just looks so sexy imagine it wide body man some shit I dream to have one day 👍🏾
I just bought a 2021 wide body scat pack. It has all of the SRT options. My drive mode you can change everything.. trans, brakes, steering. All of it.
Good video.. I always wondered the small differences in the scats vs 392 .
I just got my 21 scat pack 3 weeks ago . It had the big brakes and all the drive modes , suspension and steering, trans and all.
Been subscribed to you for a while man. Love your content dude. You always answer all of the questions I have and give me more knowledge. Keep up the 🔥🔥🔥 content. Hopefully I get a chance to meet you next time you come back to Houston ✊🏼👌🏼👍🏼🤜🏼💯
For sure buddy.. thank you
Grabbed a 2019 Scat Pack built for me and equipped it with everything, damping suspension 6 piston brembos the 275’s with Hellcat wheels. Love it. Has everything except the adaptive cruise control I don’t need a computer to see in front of me and stop for me
Correction 275’s not 295
2021 frostbite blue charger scat pack off show room floor. My First brand new car 😁🤗🔥
Congrats dude! Awesome color too!
I just bought a scat pack widebody challenger. What an absolute dream to drive!
thank you i’ve been wondering this for the longest lmaoo love your vids man don’t ever stop
No worries
If you wanted the six piston Brembos and 20x9.5” hellcat wheels, for 2017-up, you could order the dynamics package.
Still can't get all leather seats an the red seats belts
Voids any warranty that has to do with ur exhaust
It’s actually gonna be dealer choice. My dealership says it does not unless you cut the catalytic converters in the front. Still they have to definitively prove that is the cause of damage.
Doesn't i have a mid muffler delete on my hellcat and warranty still good
Congratulations. I sold my SXT plus I had for two years as well and brought a used scat pack as well for new year
@@unqiue90 good for u
I have a 2022 Scat Pack with Shaker Package. Badging has the Super Bee on the side and back but 392 on the shaker as well as SRT inside, I got the Dynamics package. I ordered it with 275's and 6 piston Brembos.
Thanks X! I needed to see this. I decked out my ‘21 Scat Pack with all the goodies. That’s as close as I could get.
Luvin’ the heck out of it! Great vid!
I have a 2021 charger scatpack... and I have srt page and setup. I thought it was strange. But it doesn’t matter with me. My Scatpack is the best car I ever have.😎
I think I have the best of both worlds with my 2018 T/A 392. All the SRT options plus better intake setup, Super track Pack, Etc. Curious to know your thoughts on the T/As. I don't see too many around my area.
I’ll have to agree with this. The T/A is a bad ass package. People just don’t know. I have the Limited edition Stars and Stripes Scat Pack.
I love my '17 T/A 392. Fastest boat on a curvy road..
@@sophiaskeens6417 Not a boat. The 2012 SRT8 392 finished a 3:09.4 time on the Lightning Lap. The Chevrolet Camaro SS from that gen was a tenth of a second slower. You'll see some cars finish behind it like a WRX STI and a BMW M6 on the list. Only people who think modern Challengers still handle like 1971 call them "boats." Remember, an Audi RS7 weighs 4937 pounds.. WAAAAYYY Heavier than a Challenger. Anyone call that a boat? I don't hear it.
@@professorstein5855 Yeah, so my boat can hold its own on a curvy road. It has a lot more heim joints and poly bushings and less rubber than when it left the factory. Plus the chassis stiffing and Cup 2 tires don't hurt either. Not much can keep up with me on the tail of the dragon.
Picked up my Scat 4/15/21 a 2018, Loving it. Thanks for videos. Car very fun to Drive.😁
Some Scat owners do not understand the respect the SRT name comes with in a vehicle. I got mine for the red start button... lol jk. I got it specifically for the upgraded suspension & brakes, leather, and Harmon kardon audio. I originally wanted a 4 door so I was looking for a C63 AMG but the interior of the Charger absolutely changed my mind and kept me in an American muscle car.
imagine paying sooo much money and still getting cloth seats
ScatPacks are not the expensive . I only paid 34,000 for a scat pack challenger back in 2018 brand new
Call me nuts but I honestly would prefer cloth over leather, the heat here in Cali reaches up to 110 in the summer and I am not tryin to burn my skin off with leather seats
@@Shadow_of_Yharnam wow i got fked then. 27k for a 2018 challenger sxt blacktop
@@alexjavi13ify I agree for the same reasons it gets to hot in Texas for leather seats in my opinion
I picked up a 2016 SRT 392 Challenger, Mopar Edition, Plum Crazy… 53,000 miles (videos on my channel)
Unfortunately I had it for 24hrs after noticing the Hemi Tick. It’s at the dealership getting worked on… cant wait till it’s done👍
My girlfriend hates my scat pack. Always bitching about whiplash. Especially when i grab 2nd gear. Shes a ripper.😅
Simplest form....you go as far as your money takes you
so what your saying is its a R/T up badged
Yup
This conversation with people who don’t understand that it’s just a different trim makes my head explode
Exactly.
VERY VERY VERY GOOD VIDEO!!! I have had this argument with PLENTY of Scat Pack owners!!! I have a 2015 SRT392..... nuff said....LOL
There are some slight differences
@@RacerX9 idk but having a SRT just feel like u not trying I’m not debating but get what’s best for u or your pocket period they all American muscle
They don't sell the SRT anymore. Only scat pack.
There was a difference. The SRTs had adjustable suspension and better leather seats.
When I bought my Charger Scat Pack in 201i the SRTs were easily 10k more than mine for almost no reason. Basically the leather seats...
I been waiting for this video!!!
Facts
Me too
Hope it helped
My 2017 scatpack has dynamics package so it came with the 275 tires, 6 piston brembos, and the hellcat rims. I had full tan nappa leather seats installed for about 2,000$, and i bought a matte black hellcat hood for 400$. Tazer to unlock srt pages for 250$. Only thing im missing is heated/cooled seats and adaptive supsension, you make the decision if thats worth it or not. Paid 32,000$ before taxes and fees 2017 scat pack challenger with 21k miles im at 38k now no problems
