i haven’t done a workout in 2 years. i’ve been heavily depressed and would go weeks on end without even getting out of bed. the most active i would get was when i would manage to go to my on campus classes. i’ve made the commitment for this year to enjoy my youth and love my body. this workout is the beginning of a new journey i’m taking and i’m so happy you also make beginner workouts.

I was bedridden at 23 with a mysterious illness for over 5 years. Went from healthy and happy to not being able to feed myself at times. Don’t let your life pass you by. Hope it’s ok to comment on an older post but YES! The music is the correct volume, she talks you through EXACTLY how/when she should. There is such a tremendous balance in everything she gives us. This is THE fitness channel on UA-cam. ❤

Yea personally I hate those on the floor workouts. Hurts my neck and back and I can hardly see the computer screen above me, not to mention worrying that a stray bug will seek me out.
Wow! That was fantastic! I am 67 yo and haven’t done this type of exercise for years. My daughter does your exercise classes daily. She found this workout for me. I was sweating & huffing & puffing while feeling great. (She didn’t even break a sweat- she does your advanced classes). I am thrilled you have beginning classes for us older folks. You are a fantastic instructor with fun exercises. As the weather gets colder around here, I’m excited to join your classes❣️👍♥️
First time I do this routine, it's easy I love that it's standing so I don't hurt my lower back and it's short, thank you! I'm trying to come back into doing daily exercise so it's so helpful!

Maddie I love your workouts. In fact I've been exercising for 3 weeks just using your UA-cam channel and I love it. I love that it forces me without making me feel like failure. In fact I've been able to accomplish almost all of the exercises I've done.
I wanted to do a special request. I want to keep training more abs but I have herniated discs, so I can't do crunches that much or else the pain is unbearable. Is there a possibility to upload at least 1 abs workout with low to none impact to the lower back? Thank you Maddie!!!
I am a personal trainer, but I've injured my left arm and am not allowed to use that arm to hold any weight, nor can I fully bend it. With that being said, sometimes personal trainers need someone else to give the directions too, and your workout provided just that. Thank you! It was a great and effective core workout!

This is a great way to start back after a 2 month break for moving countries (twice) in two months. I'd hurt my back a little dragging furniture and boxes around and this is lighter on the back than some floor exercises. Also, a great antidote to a desk job. Thanks, Maddie. You do a great job. My day is always a little bit better when I start it with you!

This is an amazing workout... I'm trying to get into shape after having a baby and it puts a strain on my incision to do other ab workouts but this one works beautifully for me...n showed results.. It's also a workout I love to do so it keeps me consistent and looking forward to it... If I didn't like the workout I wouldn't end up doing it... This one i love...
Omg this workout saved my life! Due to weak back I am really bad at ab workouts on the mat. This I could at least do more or less correctly!

Love your workouts! However, I have trouble lifting my leg up high, so this was kind of hard. I also didn't really feel my abs on fire like your other ones.
