I have been doing home workouts with Maddie for almost 3 years now, and it's not just the intense cardio or HIIT workout that makes you feel refreshed and relaxed but also the beginner friendly ones as well. Honestly I think this playlist should be called "Foundations of Form" or something similar because of how brilliant this is for getting form down before going too hard at the paint with exercise. Even as someone who considers themself an intermediate to advanced level, I still find myself coming back to these beginner workouts to get that mind/muscle connection down to a science. Truly beneficial content, thanks so much for all you do!
Please do not stop the beginner videos!! I have been going through your page and doing one-two workouts a day. I love your videos and find you help a lot with tips on harder or easier movements within your own workout. I find that amazing 🤩. Some of them I physically can't do but i always love changing up the technique just a little bit for us beginners
For anyone that cares/wants to understand the human body: Moving one's legs engages the lower abdominals. These workouts are great but don't relegate yourself to them being the "answer". Your lower core is designed to accommodate your lower spine and lower body movements. Isolate those and you will get a stronger lower core. HOWEVER, this does not mean you will lose body fat in that area. Fat loss is not tied to muscle stimulation -Your body stores fat where it sees fit.
I skip ab exercises because how difficult they're for me as my core strength is weak. But I finished this one! So good for beginners like me. Thank you so much ❤

I am so happy you created this video! I have been trying various workout peoples channels for the past few years. I recently came across yours and so much I love. But this video in particular is AMAZING. I struggle with core exercise and it's because I don't know how to fully engage still. The fact you took the time to break it down and really explain what you should be doing ,etc. is such a massive lifesaver! I have an incredibly long torso and have inured my lower spine in the past because I wasn't doing things properly because others didn't explain, they just did. Honestly this workout really relaxed me. Hold on before you come at me- No I am not a pro, don't have a sixpack or am advanced otherwise. I usually do the 10 min intense workouts and everytime I can't do at least 3 exercices (properly), since I have back issues that lead me to not feel my core muscles when doing some ab exercises (No it's not just the form). I am really frustrated sometimes for not being able to get stronger in the whole core like others easily, but this workout was really helpful now, because you explained it so chill and put form over fastness. Even the background music was relaxing. I really liked that you showed some "more advanced" or "less advanced" versions because due to my back issues some exercises are so easy but others are really hard (Because I can train some muscles in the core better than others). I could take a step back from the hard and fast exercises. This released so much tension and anger in me. So thank you really much. I would love to see more ab (and back) workouts where you show "more advanced" and "less advanced" versions of the exercises. Wish you all the best ❤❤❤
I love these beginner workouts. Even though i am doing everything i can to engage my lower abs, i still feel a ton of strain on my hops flexors. Any tips on how to keep the hip flexors from taking over?
I been working for 2 weeks straight with one day of rest and i am telling you at 48 i feel great. I am average body and i my abs are looking better and shred some pounds and fat.. thanks madfit, your work out Is challenging but very helpful and worth it. Keep it up
I am quite mixed on my performance on this video qualified as "beginner". 🤔 Personally, I never managed to do the lower abs while lying down (always had pain in the upper abs but never the lower ones 😔) without hurting my back. In addition, doing the board, for me, is not at all beginner level (I absolutely do not know how to do it, even with the knees, it is complicated) 🤕. In short, I am not satisfied with my result ... I vote for standing abs. 😅 No pain like this and at least I feel that I really work the lower abs 😄
I have a dog, and whenever he hears the intro to your videos, he comes running from where he is and stays close to me (sometimes getting in the way hahahaha). But I love! 🥰
