- I'm growing out my 'silvers' for the second time and I'm using a coloring conditioner called Overtone to help with the awkward grow-out stage. Here I discuss my experience and Dan's weighs in on my hair turning gray. ;)

Thank you for doing this video. I've been wondering if I could relive being a brunette again with the Espresso Overtone. I, too, got my first gray at 18. Now I'm a combination of gray, silver, and white, and I swear a few translucent pieces, LOL. You answered the biggest question I had which was if it would leave my white hair a yellowish tint. That's a no go for me. But I'm so grateful that you did this video. Thank you!

Very useful video, I have to try it for special occasions because I finished my transition but would love sometimes to have dark hair back without ruining my hair with permanent dye
So glad you found it helpful! Be aware that it doesn’t wash out that easily and it will take a lot of time for the yellow cast to fade fully (if you use the espresso). Enjoy and keep it ginchy! ♥️

I make my own overtone. Learnt how on UA-cam. Have dark brown hair with about 35% grey. I mix a tsp of purple dye with 1/3 cup of hair conditioner. Got the dark purple from a hair dye box. I do not use the peroxide that comes with the box. Doing this tones down the red in my brown hair and the white hair becomes a lovely shade. My hair does not become purple. Highly recommend and very affordable.
I love this hack! I may end up doing this, but I’m actually wanting to try purple hair on my silvers one day. It’s on my bucket list. If I hate it then hopefully I can use this tip. Many thanks and thanks for checking this channel out!

Your husband's teeth are BEAUTIFUL! I'm dealing with the stop fighting it and letting the gray come on out, and nooooo!!! What kind of mascara do you use? Your eyelashes are lovely. Just received my sample of Overtone, haven't used it yet but thanks for the "heads-up" regarding the possible yellowing of the silver.

Can you use Overtone in your eyebrows?
Oooh, I don’t know but I wouldn’t try it without professional help and emailing the Overtone team about it. They can say for sure if it’s safe. The issue would be if you accidentally got some in your eye-that would be bad! Thanks for watching and keep it ginchy! 💜
See, espresso didn't completely cover the gray, it left highlights and I don't want that, I want the gray totally gone, thanks this is exactly the review I was looking for.

Honestly? Nope. It takes several months for the yellow tint it leaves behind to go away.
