Your birth stories always make me tear up with joy for you and your beautiful family, Lana. Your daughter praying for you and your son's gratefulness for what it meant for your family is so touching. Thank you for having the courage to share your experience and for boldly with love expressing your devotion to Jesus throughout it all. I am 14 weeks now with our first and have learned so much from you already. God bless you sister!!
Thank you for sharing this! 💜 This helped my mentality so much and it’s so encouraging to see someone who walks with Christ showing how to help that relationship through the pain.
Congratulations! I had my own daughter a month ago with an unmedicated home birth. It was a wonderful experience! God is so good! I was able to watch some of your videos before she was born and they were so helpful, thank you!
I love your story and your testimony. I’m pregnant with my third and have had two unmedicated labors so far and am praying for a third. But your attitude of surrender is really wise and a good reminder to me. Also, I have a 5 year old girl who I’ve considered inviting to the birth. I love knowing you included your 5 year old.
I'm 9 months pregnant due mid February. Thank you for the encouragement and sharing your faith. Had no idea I was finding a Christian lady when I stumbled on your last birth vid. I'm having a girl too (my first girl 3rd baby). I've definitely been dealing with some fear and your Buffalo story and God being with you in your births is really helping me get my mindset right. My 2nd went really, really well, until I hit transition when I got in fear. My goal this time is to stay in peace and in control the whole time. I'm going to see if I can feel the baby moving down like you did. Anyway, thank you!
Thank you for sharing this part of your testimony! Truly was a God sent that your video showed up in my feed. 20 weeks pregnant with our second and planning for home birth - I’m super excited and your story truly brought me joy and peace thru the Lord knowing that yes I can and He will see me through this. Seeing your kiddos holding your hand and speaking life into you during your labor and delivery was so heart warming. Lord bless this sweet woman and her family!
Thank you for taking the time to comment. I am so, so, so glad the Lord used this video to bring you joy and peace. He will absolutely carry you through and remember you've got this ❤️
I LOVE The Hiding Place!! Such a powerful testimony of faith and of God working in their lives, right through every detail of the trauma if the Holocaust.
I am 11 weeks pregnant with my second. I cried in your other video when you spoke about jesus visiting you during the hardest part of labor 🙏. The lord brought me to you when i needed this the most. Thank you
I know you posted this a year ago. But I am due in 6 weeks-ish lol it is my fifth pregnancy, and my first daughter 🙌 I'm so so so excited!!!! I love this story of yours. Just letting the entire process be normal and natural. Not turning it into an entire situation and atmosphere of "just labor" This is going to be my second home birth, second time my kids get to witness the birth of a sibling and it's awesome! I cannot wait! Your video and story is so helpful and encouraging and enjoyable ❤ great job mama!
I just had my first home birth 12 weeks ago and I did not experience that dream of surrending and accepting the pain. I was in so much pain bc I was in so much fear. I wish I trusted the Lord more
I am so sorry it was a hard experience! My first birth was very similar. Fear just makes us tense up and you aren't alone, so many women have this experience. It is super common when our body doesn't feel safe. Praying for Jesus to come in and heal those places in your heart and mind that have experienced trauma and that if you have more children in the future that those births would be redemptive experiences for you. Just know that this really may not be about your trust in the Lord and that you may not have done anything wrong. Birth can just be wild. Sending so much love your way and for you to feel zero shame for how things went down 😘
@girlteachme Yes absolutely I agree!! Fear made me tense up so badly bc I was in and birth tub and baby kept going up and down and not lowering into my pelvis and I kept calmly trying to bare down and breathe him out but my fear was "something is wrong, he's not lowering, I don't want to go to the hospital. Please please Lord help me. I don't want to go" I HATE HOSPITALS. So then I forced pushed him out and it was excruciating.. worse than my first birth.. and I wish I used my voice to tell my midwife what I needed to help me but I couldn't think clearly and my husband kept leaving to check on our toddler. So it was really tough!! And thank you so much for those kind words, I'm still praying on it.. for the Lord to heal those parts of my labor and birth. I had seen everywhere that aaallll the home bieth mothers were in a state of calm and trust and euphoria and I was confused and upset that I wasn't either during my birth. I shouldn't have been comparing but I just thought it would be more peaceful minded
Congrats on your girl! I wanna try having a midwife and try a vaginal birth, my baby went to almost 41 weeks, so my doc cut my open (wasn’t bad, scars don’t bother me and you can’t see it), but he said after, once a c-section always a c-section. I know a lady who had 12 kids, only 2 were c-section. I would like to deliver differently if I can because I hear it’s better for baby to get that squeeze, and the bacteria down there helps their immune system, but I don’t even know where to begin 😳🫣 It’s not impossible, I know God will walk with me through it, but I just hope it’s wonderful in the end anyways
Just to encourage you, my second was a C-Section due to being breech and I had 2 successful natural births after via VBAC ☺️ Having a supportive medical team is key! Success of vaginal birth after C-section is 60-80% 🫶🏼
