I love how your video did not start with an aesthetically pleasing view of coffee being made but instead it started by helping all women remember being first time moms❤ this video was so kind and honest and didn’t show off how you’ve “arrived” but rather how your just making it through, this really helped me as a woman who can easily fall into comparing. Thank you!
Ah it is so tempting to show something like that, but I know it would be a lie. These early days are no joke hard, but are just the best all the same. Praying mamas know it is ok to not have it all together and enjoy their babies ❤ Thanks for pausing to leave a comment it made my day!
I wish I came across this before I had my first babygirl. 7 months old today and we got it figured out but man I feel safe and heard listening to this video!
Always so beautiful to get a glimpse of your life... no fake glitz and frills to boost the views, but genuine and vulnerable and so beautiful! Thank you!
Gosh, this was so genuine and true. You really summed up postpartum and being a mother so well. I just had my third child and the difference in my PP experience from my first to my third is a 180. You really hit the nail on the head here. Thank you for sharing. Love your content.
Love your videos and always look forward to your content!! 💛 I love your approach to motherhood. I am definitely in the same boat with schedules. I have a 6 month and a barely 2 yr old, both girls. I never let a schedule dictate my life but try to do what works for our family. I also LOVE to co sleep. I wish someone would have told me with my first I didn’t have to do what was the “norm”. I felt at such a loss because my sweet baby girl hated being swaddled, hated a pacifier and hated her crib. I felt like I was doing something wrong. And one day I simply decided I was going to do what I wanted and what my baby needed. So yes, I snuggled up my sweet baby girl all night in my bed, nursed on demand and nursed to sleep and never sleep trained. I don’t regret a moment of all those snuggles and sweet moments. My now 2 year old sleeps like a champ in her own room. With my current babe, I forgo any pressure and simply do what feels right for me and my baby girl 💕 We sure do co sleep, change, diapers on the bed, floor, or couch and I never let anyone tell me I hold my baby too much. There is never too many kisses or cuddles 🥰
LOVE IT! You are doing amazing and tuning into those mama instincts, it takes time to gain the confidence I think. I can tell you are really enjoying baby girl and thats the best!
Mother of 6, ages range from 13yrs, to 6 months. I 100% approve of this message! May God continue to bless you & your beautiful family. Thank you for sharing!
Ahh that means so much! I know mothers of many have had to do lots of trial and error along the way. I am sure you have a ton of wisdom to offer young mamas. And sending love your way and praying for God to bless you as you pour out to your family ❤
This is the best newborn video out there. I'm also on my 5th and last baby. She is 6 weeks old and it's amazing the wisdom you gain with each baby. You're very right about being a first time mom and feeling comfort in trying to control the schedule and control what your baby does and when.. this time I'm keeping my schedule and routine fluid around her and we just coexist together throughout the days. She and I are just nursing and doing what we can when we can. It feels so free and there's no pressure at all. She's even my first baby that sleeps through the night. Sometimes only waking to nurse at 4am.. it's beautiful how much I love how this last experience with a newborn. It truly is bittersweet❤❤
Ah I can RELATE! What a sweet exhausting season. I wish more young mamas could slow down and just enjoy without feeling like they have to "get it right." So happy for you! And thank you for pausing to leave a comment. ❤❤❤ Always means so much to connect.
Mom of 4 here, and this really hit home for me. Man, I absolutely love the newborn days. Just the simplicity of it and all the baby snuggles. It’s like nothing else matters during those fleeting months.
I'm due with my first baby in May. Thank you for your kind words of encouragement. I've been looking for a way to put these exact thoughts into words. There are so many opinions being thrown at me (with the best intentions) and some of them just don't sit right with me but since this is my first baby it's hard to know how to respond without discrediting other mothers. This gave me some ideas of how to respond graciously and still listen to that motherly instinct.❤
Thanks for this video. I'm almost exactly where you are in this season of life. I just had my fifth child six weeks ago and I'm just so much more chill this time around lol
Ah so happy for you! Yes, I think it's just one of the gifts of lots of kids is that some trivial things have to go. Sending love for those baby snuggles!
Thank you!!! We are so thankful for her. Ok I have been using the cloth Sakura Scout Baby Carrier and I like it. The ring part was hard to put together at first, but it is light. My friend let me borrow it. And then when they get bigger I do love the ergo, but goodness there are sooo many new ones out from when I had my first. I would also like to try the Wildbird one that looks like the ergo.
Muy bien tu video, solo que no entiendo que la bebé esté sin vestir y vosotros con ropa de manga larga, como si hiciera frío. No pasa frío el bebé desnudo?
Being a first time mom is really a lot as you have no idea what you’re even doing, to top it with more kids??? Is the good Lord that helps us through as moms
