Lol, you need to tilt the bottle when it's still mounted to get the excess pressure out. It's in the manual
Thanks for the walk through on how the carbonation works, for some reason I’ve been worried about it exploding so I’ve been carbonating it wrong lol
Sad that they no longer give you syrup samplers. And forget about paperwork. I got the Genesis for Christmas, and the only things in the box were the bottles (2 0.5L and 2 1L), the Genesis itself, and the '60L' CO2 canister.

You totally forgot to pull the bottle into the front so the CO2 escapes out of the bottle normally. Thats why the water is going everywhere while unscrewing the bottle.
Do different soda stream machines make the pop taste better, or is it just a look thing? Like "hey I've got the Cadillac version lol."

I somehow pressed no buzz sounds but it did turned out frizzy . Did i done wrong somehow ? Why I didn’t hear any buzz like his ?
At least in Denmark, the Genesis comes with 2x 1L and 2x 1/2L bottles instead of the syrup samples.
Look at when this video was made, Einstein. Obviously, Genesis package configurations are going to change in eight years.

Cold water produces better carbonation because the process of dissolving CO2 into water generates heat. Using cold water facilitates the process.
OMG you did that so wrong you do not hold the button down. 2 second bursts you will explode the machine doing it like that

You are not doing that anywhere near correctly! Short bursts = much longer carbonator life. MUCH! Always release the gas before you unscrew and remove the fully carbonated bottle.
Mine does not "buzz" it sort of fizzes.

@@jenniferhudson6273 From what I understand, they changed the over-pressure mechanism a good while back. Not many, if any machines made in the past few years have the 'buzz' pressure relief.

you dont throw away bottles, you go to back to the store with the used ones and get some of the money back

Why do all the newer videos have that awful music? My husband was trying to watch this one because he has a Sodastream and was thinking of switching models, but he also can't stand that music and said he can't listen any more. This music is not even soothing, it's so fast paced and detracts from these videos.

The thing is... Aspartame is horrible for you.
Why go through all this time & money & etc... when you can buy the real name brand formulas @ WM for $1 for a 2 LT ?
Because this uses less waste.
Aspartame is harmless. Other sweeteners suck ass. No thanks.
I cant take someone serius who critises Aspartam. It is harmless, every western country agrees it is harmless. It has been tested to a ridiculess ammount. Hell, I have analyzed data on its safety my self in a statistics class.
Harmless or not, it tastes like hell. I can't drink that crap, my throat says NO!

It’s been tested in the UK and has 90 adverse side effects.
