I would just like to thank you for the soda stream videos featuring the source. I had bought a used one and it made the same whining sound yours did when presure started building up. I was afraid that I had bought another dud but your video showed me that it was perfectly normal for that model. Thanks again for the informative videos.
I just bought mine and I just love it especally for the carb. water. I usally buy Perier water and found out that there was alot of salt in that water so I tried the SodaStream and it tastes even better than the Perier. Thanks for the info
Mine doesn't carbonate as well as in this video. I get an initial blast until the first indicator light. Then it just the loud whining sound through the rest of the light cycles without anything coming out of the carbonation straw. I have to do it several times to get decent carbonation. Could get a little pricey for me. Almost seems like the bottle isn't sealed properly.

You just did a level 3 carbonation as you did a level 1 and then added a level 2
Where is the brushed aluminum version found? I cannot even find it on their site.

yea mine even flows over if I hold it down to even the medium setting.

Cold water. Filtered is preferable unless you have some NICE rain water or well water
